Quentin Tarantino Suing Gawker Media For Posting Leaked The Hateful Eight Script

Quentin Tarantino has filed a lawsuit against Gawker Media for encouraging readers to download his leaked movie script for The Hateful Eight via a link posted on its Defamer website.

The filmmaker recently said he was shelving plans to produce the original Western after a copy of the screenplay was leaked last week.

Tarantino insisted he only gave it to a handful of agents and actors, and was furious that the draft spread beyond that small group.

Now he’s even more mad that a version was posted online, with Gawker providing a link to readers to read the whole 146-page script.
