The story making the rounds today is that Dr. Conrad Murray, the man accused of administering Michael Jackson a lethal dose of Propofol, will use the defense that he gave the King of Pop a safe amount of the drug in order for him to sleep, but that when he left the room for a little bit, the singer woke up and self-medicated, causing his own death. Dr. Conrad Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the pop icon’s death.

Jackson died of cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009, under the controversial Murray’s care.
