President Obama celebrated his 49th birthday on Wednesday with Oprah Winfrey and others at Graham Elliot, a restaurant in Chicago.

Returning to his Illinois home turf, the president dined with companions Winfrey, Gayle King, adviser Valerie Jarrett, and close friends Eric Whittaker and Marty Nesbitt, among others.

The First Lady, Michelle Obama, is currently out of the country.
