Phillip Phillips’ health problems are back and sidelining his current music tour.

The “American Idol” winner — whose time on the show last year was complicated by kidney stones — has been forced to cancel the eight dates left on his college tour.

Phillips made the announcement on his Facebook page on Monday, citing “doctor’s orders.”

The singer underwent a six-and-a-half hour operation on Wednesday to remove a number of kidney stones that were too large to pass.

The singer is reportedly giving his parents the 2013 Ford Fusion he won on “Idol” as a gift.

Rather than using the new wheels himself, Phillips will keep on trucking in his 2001 Ford Ranger, according to TMZ.
