Jay Baruchel has joined ‘Cosmopolis,’ his rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

The movie stars Robert Pattinson as a wealthy but embattled financial whiz over the course of a hectic 24 hours, during which he bets a fortune against the yen.

Baruchel will reportedly play the Pattinson character’s shy counterpart and “conscience.”

Sarah Gadon has reportedly been cast as Robert Pattinson’s estranged wife in Cosmopolis.

To date, the young Canadian actress has primarily appeared in TV series.

Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche and Samantha Morton also star in the movie, which follows an incredibly wealthy but embattled young financial whiz over the course of 24 hours.

A ridiculous rumor making the rounds today claims Paul Giamatti is charging fans to take pictures with him.

After winning for his performance in ‘Barney’s Version’ at Sunday’s Golden Globes, Giamatti supposedly “charged two people five dollars a piece (sic) to snap a pic with his statue during the CAA after party.”

At least that’s what Us Weekly reports.

But the story is wildly exaggerated, and Gossip Cop has what REALLY happened.

The former president was on the movie’s set yesterday to shoot a cameo, according to multiple sources.

Mike Tyson famously appeared as himself in the first movie, and the sequel is set to have roles for Liam Neeson and Paul Giamatti.
