Hef tweeted, “I’m sorry NBC’s ‘The Playboy Club’ didn’t find it’s audience. It should have been on cable, aimed at a more adult audience.”

The Parents Television Council is protesting the “explicit” Billboard Music Awards-opening performance of “S&M” by Rihanna and Britney Spears.

“What happened in Vegas should have stayed in Vegas, as the saying goes,” said PTC president Tim Winter in a statement. “It certainly has no place at 8:00 p.m. on the publicly-owned broadcast airwaves.”
