The team behind ‘Paranormal Activity,’ the movie that came from nowhere to earn nearly $200 million last fall, is developing a similarly styled show for primetime television.

“The River” will follow the “found footage” horror model that spooked audiences with ‘The Blair Witch Project’ and ‘Paranormal Activity.’
