The celeb hacking scandal that led to the FBI’s Operation Hackerazzi arrest of Christopher Chaney earlier this week is generating new controversy, thanks to an article asking whether Scarlett Johansson and other Hollywood stars should be blamed.

Christopher Chaney was arrested this morning, accused of hacking dozens of celebrities’ personal email accounts.

According to a grand jury indictment, Chaney used multiple aliases to acquire private information belonging to celebrities including Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera and Mila Kunis.

The FBI has arrested a man suspected of hacking phones and email accounts belonging to Hollywood stars including Scarlett Johansson and Vanessa Hudgens and leaking their photos.

“Operation Hackerazzi,” as it’s called, made the bust on Wednesday morning.

Sources within the FBI confirm to Gossip Cop that it was an individual in Florida, acting alone.
