Mel Gibson officially divorced Robyn, his wife of 31 years, on Friday.

A judge just signed off on the paperwork in a Los Angeles court.

Robyn filed for divorce back in 2009 after it was revealed that Gibson was expecting a child with Oksana Grigorieva.

What stalled the divorce from being completed for more than two years was the division of the couple’s assets, which is estimated at somewhere between $650-$800 million.

The ex-Mrs. Gibson will now go by her maiden name Moore.

The Gibsons, who have seven children together, did not have a prenuptial agreement.

We’re told the divorce is entirely amicable.

Mel Gibson has another kid on the way, claims Star magazine.

The tabloid says it has a “world exclusive” that Gibson’s alleged ex-girlfriend Laura Bellizzi is four months pregnant with his baby.

According to Star‘s “well-placed source,” Bellizzi “has confided that Mel is the baby daddy.”

Of course, Bellizzi herself slammed the Gibson baby daddy rumor when Star asked her, but the tabloid covers its bases by offering the weak excuse that Bellizzi “does not want anyone to know” who the father is.

A rep for Gibson, meanwhile, tells Gossip Cop the whole Star story is “b.s.”

That would put it in good company with dozens of recent fictions printed by the magazine.

Gibson has seven children with estranged wife Robyn and a two-year-old daughter, Lucia, with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

But don’t expect #9 to arrive anytime soon.

Ever since Brad Pitt spoke with Parade magazine about his marriage to Jennifer Aniston, outlets have tried to paint a picture of the exes being at war.

The Moneyball star was quoted in the interview as saying he was “trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t,” comments widely interpreted as an unfavorable comparison of Aniston to Angelina Jolie.

According to the new Star magazine, the “outburst stunned Jen,” leading her to tell everyone Pitt’s a “liar.”

Specifically, Aniston allegedly takes issue with Pitt’s implication that she was to blame for their “boredom” as a couple, claims Star.

“Jen called him right away to ask him just what he was thinking with all of this,” says a tab “insider,” who explains that she’s “humiliated and annoyed.”

The Parade quotes are supposedly “taking a toll,” says Star, rendering Aniston an emotional wreck.

Except Star‘s version of events bears no resemblance to reality.

Aniston and boyfriend Justin Theroux are very visible and very happy, as evidenced during their Thursday night charity art auction participation.

She didn’t make an outraged phone call to Pitt, because, as he explained on the “Today Show,” she’s been through the tabloid wringer and knows better than to engage in a faux feud.

What really pushes Star‘s nonsense over the top is a sidebar comparing Pitt’s action to “horrible exes” including Mel Gibson (who left Oksana Grigorieva abusive voice mail messages after their split) and Jesse James (who trashed Sandra Bullock‘s bedroom skills on “Howard Stern”).

Meanwhile, Pitt made a couple of comments that were grossly misinterpreted, and for which he’s repeatedly offered explanation designed to protect Aniston, whom he still calls a “dear friend.”

The only ones who should feel “humiliated” and “annoyed” are those who spent $3.99 on this week’s issue of Star.

Mel Gibson must give Oksana Grigorieva $750,000 as part of their custody agreement, to be paid in three installments of $250,000.

The former couple will have joint legal and physical custody of daughter Lucia.

The terms of the deal were revealed during a joint court appearance today in Los Angeles.

Gibson will make the first payment upon signing of the deal later today, with the subsequent payments due on September 15, 2013 and January 1, 2016.

Money from the eventual sale of the home Grigorieva and Lucia share will be put into a trust for Lucia.

Reportedly, both Gibson and Grigorieva are barred from writing about the party in a book.

We’re told both parties are pleased with the outcome.

Mel Gibson is again in an L.A. court, working out custody and visitation issues with Oksana Grigorieva over their daughter Lucia, confirms a source close to the actor.

We’re told Gibson is meeting with Judge Scott Gordon in the hopes of getting close to an equal amount of time as Grigorieva has with the little girl.

Gossip Cop will update when a decision is made as to whether Gibson is awarded more time with Lucia.

The former lovers have sparred in court over a variety of issues, including Grigorieva alleging that Gibson hit her in January 2010 as she held their daughter.

Mel Gibson has reportedly finally settled his divorce.

The embattled actor and his estranged wife, Robyn Gibson, have come to terms on a full agreement, according to TMZ.

Her lawyer, Laura Wasser, is said to have told the judge this morning that the two sides have hammered out a deal, including property settlement.

An official judgment is expected in August, at which point the divorce would become official.

The Gibsons wed in 1980.

They remained technically married throughout Gibson’s volatile relationship with baby mama Oksana Grigorieva.

Mel Gibson broke his silence and spoke for the first time about a variety of subjects, including those infamous taped telephone rants directed at his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

“It’s one terribly awful moment in time, said to one person in the span of one day, and doesn’t represent what I truly believe or how I’ve treated people my entire life,” Gibson tells Deadline in a candid interview.

He claims that despite the tenor of the tapes, “I’ve never treated anyone badly or in a discriminatory way based on their gender, race, religion or sexuality – period. I don’t blame some people for thinking that, though, from the garbage they heard on those leaked tapes, which have been edited.”

Gibson feels, “You have to put it all in the proper context of being in an irrationally, heated discussion at the height of a breakdown, trying to get out of a really unhealthy relationship.”

He says he regrets what he said and never thought Grigorieva was taping him. “Who anticipates being recorded? Who anticipates that? Who could anticipate such a personal betrayal?”

And if the scandal means the end of his career, Gibson would be OK with that. “I could easily not act again. It’s not a problem,” he says. In fact, one gets the sense that he regrets having decided when he was younger to become an actor. “If I could make that choice again, I’d make a different choice.”

Mostly, Gibson mourns the “loss of personal anonymity” when one becomes famous, but understands you “can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube.”

While celebrity friends like Whoopi Goldberg and Jodie Foster publicly supported him, he understands why others didn’t come forward. “Why would anyone speak publicly and drag themselves through this crap?” reasons the actor.

Nor is he angry, he claims, with the actors from Hangover II who didn’t want him in the film. “It’s okay. You just have to let that go.”

Gibson says that through his scandals, including his drunken anti-Semitic rant, he tries to remain focused on his work. “There are a lot of people depending on you. There are deadlines to meet and fiscal responsibilities. There are the basics of supporting yourself and those who depend on you and those commitments that you have to co-workers. “

The Oscar winner, who also talks about his upcoming film, The Beaver, sums up, “The main thing is that [the tape scandal] was terribly humiliating and painful for my family, all my kids. “

He says he spoke to all of his kids about the embarrassing recordings, except his daughter with Grigorieva, Lucia, “who is blissfully unaware, thank God. Well, she may be aware of it one day, and at that time, I guess I’ll just address that.”

Mel Gibson officially turned himself in for booking on criminal battery charges at El Segundo Police Department in L.A. last night.

The actor was formally charged with simple misdemeanor battery last Friday for allegedly assaulting former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Gibson pleaded no contest to the charge, avoiding a felony domestic violence count that could have landed him in jail.

Judge Stephanie Sautner gave Gibson one week from his sentencing to get his mug shot and fingerprints taken. Gibson took care of the formality last night.

Incidentally, the booking took place at the same time his new film The Beaver premiered at the Austin SXSW Film Festival.

Mel Gibson is prepared to fight Oksana Grigorieva until the end.

Should Grigorieva file a rumored civil lawsuit against her estranged ex citing battery, emotional distress and defamation, Gibson will sue her for extortion, according to TMZ.

The site’s sources claim Gibson would not settle this potential suit out of court.

On Friday, Gibson struck a deal with prosecutors, pleading no contest to simple battery, thereby avoiding a trial with more serious charges.

Grigorieva alleges Gibson hit her in January 2010 as she held their daughter Lucia.

Mel Gibson will reportedly serve court-mandated community service at Mending Kids International – a charity where his estranged wife works.

The troubled actor must complete 16 hours of service before June 9 as part of his sentencing after accepting a plea deal for his infamous domestic clash with Oksana Grigorieva.

According to TMZ, he’s decided to assist MKI, which provides surgical care to needy children.

Estranged wife Robyn Gibson heads the charity’s Malibu branch, and until December she served as the President of the Board of Directors for the organization.

The former couple have been longtime supporters of the group.

Gibson will plead no contest when he is formally arraigned today at LA Superior Court at 1:30 PT.

Mel Gibson is set to plead no contest to battery during a court appearance on Friday to avoid more serious charges in his domestic violence case with Oksana Grigorieva.

As part of the proposed plea bargain, the actor will not face jail time.

Under the terms of the deal, the Los Angeles County District Attorney will not pursue a criminal charge of corporal injury against Gibson, who would be required to enter counseling.

Gibson’s attorney Blair Berk tells Gossip Cop in a statement, “I know from almost 20 years as a criminal defense lawyer that sometimes justice can come for a client at too high a personal price. That is particularly so for Mel, whose right to due process can only be exercised in this case with an enormous media circus attached.”

“Mel’s priority throughout all of this has been that the best interests of his young daughter Lucia and the rest of his children be put first in any decisions made,” continues Berk.

“It is with only that in mind that he asked me to approach the District Attorney with a proposal that would bring all of this to an immediate end.”

Another source close to the situation confirms the rationale, informing Gossip Cop that Gibson agreed to the lesser charge to avoid the strain a lengthy trial process would put on his family.

Gibson and Grigorieva’s explosive relationship came to a head on January 6, 2010, when Grigorieva alleges Gibson hit her as she held their daughter Lucia.

A series of recorded phone conversations and voice mails documenting Gibson’s rage and threats against Grigorieva surfaced last summer.

The National Enquirer reports, “Tensions are running hugh between former friends Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. during the filming of ‘Sherlock Holmes 2′ – and it’s all Mel Gibson‘s fault!”

Huh?

According to the tab, Downey is still friends with Gibson, who was recorded “threatening and screaming vicious insults” at Oksana Grigorieva, “and that’s not sitting well with Jude.”

The Enquirer quotes a so-called “source” as saying Law “thinks what Mel did to Oksana was appalling, and he doesn’t think Hollywood should be supporting someone who’s behaved that way.”

Downey and Law had “a genuine friendship,” writes the supermarket tab, but now “they barely speak between scenes.”

Really?

No.

Gossip Cop looked into this, and not one person we know involved in the production could back up these claims.

Additionally, a rep for Downey tells us the report is “BS with a capital B and a capital S.”

The doctor who saw Oksana Grigorieva and her daughter Lucia on January 7 – a day after she and Mel Gibson had a blowout in which he allegedly hit her and struck the child – says the actor’s ex-girlfriend made no mention of any injury to the little girl nor did she see any.

Grigorieva, says Dr. Linda Nussbaum, brought Lucia in because of something on her belly button.

In a declaration by Nussbaum, the pediatrician says, “I did not see any symptoms of trauma, abuse, bruising, redness or injury on her face, head or elsewhere on her body.”

She further notes, “Ms. Grigorieva did not state to me that Lucia had suffered any trauma, abuse or injury of any kind,” according to papers obtained by TMZ.

Mel Gibson surrendered multiple weapons to the Los Angeles Police Department after Oksana Grigorieva accused the star of domestic violence, Gossip Cop has confirmed.

Judge Scott Gordon ordered Gibson to give up his guns, which he did last July.

According to law enforcement records, Gibson had the following:

- 9 millimeter Glock handgun

- 9 millimeter Beretta handgun

- 12 gauge shotgun

- Winchester rifle

- Plenty of ammo for the various weapons

Oksana Grigorieva reportedly plans to “stare down” Mel Gibson during his deposition today.

The star’s estranged ex will attend the showdown and sit across the table from Gibson as her lawyers question him, according to RadarOnline.

Grigorieva reportedly believes that her presence could rattle the actor-director.

Gibson’s grilling is the latest event in a massive legal battle between the couple that includes allegations of domestic abuse and extortion.

The site claims Grigorieva’s legal team will focus on Gibson’s emotional stability, an issue raised by the series of shocking phone recordings released over the summer.

It is possible that Gibson will invoke the Fifth Amendment and remain silent on matters pertaining to alleged violence against Grigorieva.

Oksana Grigorieva has turned down a reported offer from Playboy to pose naked.

“It’s never going to happen,” her rep tells Gossip Cop. “Not for any amount of money.”

According to earlier reports, the magazine was prepared to offer Grigorieva $75,000 for a “full nude” spread and appearance on the cover.

In an unrelated story, her estranged ex, Mel Gibson, recently finished filming The Beaver.

Oksana Grigorieva feared Mel Gibson would kill her and says he had long been “hiding his dark side,” according to a new magazine interview.

“I was scared for my life,” she tells People.

On January 6, Grigorieva alleges, Gibson hit her twice — once in the head, once in the mouth — as she held their daughter Lucia.

Gibson supposedly pulled a gun on her and waved it while talking to himself and frothing at the mouth.

The Russian musician says that she didn’t call police because she feared it would only humiliate and enrage Gibson, and that he might kill her.

According to Grigorieva, Gibson was extremely “depressed” and frequently spoke of suicide. “He would’ve killed himself many times if he wasn’t Catholic,” she explains, but he’s “afraid of hell.”

Grigorieva claims to be “severely in debt,” but insists that she is not a gold digger and only taped Gibson’s fuming phone calls to “document his threats.”

She denies leaking the tapes and contends her ex’s allegation that she used them for extortion.

Gibson’s ex says she’s “standing up to a bully who is very rich and famous.”

Despite everything, Grigorieva says that she wants Gibson to be a part of Lucia’s life and believes that he can be a good father.

“I’m not angry at him. For the sake of Lucia, I really want him to be well,” says Grigorieva. “He has to have the courage to be responsible for what he’s done.

Gibson refused to comment for the story.

Oprah Winfrey‘s interview of Oksana Grigorieva apparently has fallen though.

Last week, the talk show queen snagged the highly sought sit-down with Mel Gibson‘s estranged ex, but it has reportedly been “postponed indefinitely,” according to what a source close to Grigorieva tells CNN.

Early rumblings claimed that Judge Scott Gordon issued a gag order forbidding Grigorieva from doing the interview given the ongoing legal proceedings between her and Gibson.

According to TMZ, however, Grigorieva canceled the chat due to internal fighting and opposition among her lawyers, not because of Judge Gordon.

At this hour, Oprah’s camp has not indicated whether the interview’s status has changed.

Mel Gibson has given up all rights to estranged ex Oksana Grigorieva’s music, Gossip Cop can confirm.

The embattled star had previously been the executive producer of Grigorieva’s recordings and legally empowered to release and promote them.

But Gibson signed the rights over to her in August, relinquishing his grip on her nascent music career.

In one of the alleged taped conversations between Gibson and Grigorieva that shocked the world over the summer, Gibson certainly doesn’t sound like a fan of her talents.

“I’d like to see you play a concert sometime. You make mistakes all over with live performances,” Gibson allegedly hisses. “You can’t do it. Haven’t seen you not f**k it up yet… You are not in that league.”
