Eight months after tying the knot, Joanna Garcia and Nick Swisher are finally going on a honeymoon – to Afghanistan!

The star of ABC’s “Best Without You” and the Yankees outfielder will visit U.S. troops in November. Swisher explained to the New York Post that the idea for the trip came about when “three military officers came to the Yankee locker room and asked if any of us would like to visit the troops. My hand went straight up, I said, ‘I’m in.’ I knew Joanna would want to go.”
