The New York Daily News has struck out again. This time the paper whiffed on a story insinuating that Kate Hudson and Yankees star Alex Rodriguez may be engaged. The item read, “Kate Hudson was sporting a very interesting new accessory at Monday night’s Yankees game: a sparkly diamond band on her left ring finger. Our spy caught the bubbly blond proudly sporting the ring while typing away on her Blackberry when her slugger wasn’t up. Either A-Rod is making it official, or Ms. Hudson made some very careless jewelry choices!” Yeah, the Daily News knows “careless.”
