“Lana del Rey’s tour has been postponed in the wake of the chanteuse’s disastrous ‘SNL’ appearance last month,” reports the New York Post.

According to the paper, “The ‘Video Games’ singer’s gigs were to coincide with the release of her album, ‘Born To Die’ — but the plug was pulled after her tour managers, booking agents and label heads at Interscope powwowed following her bizarre, listless appearance on ‘SNL.’”

A source tells the Post, “She was very upset” about canceling the tour, but notes that Del Rey and her manager “figure the extra time gives them more distance from ‘SNL.’”

Another insider says Interscope determined the singer “wasn’t ready to tour, and that live shows would hurt record sales.”

The paper says Del Rey’s 30-date U.S. tour was slated to kick off “as soon as March.”

That all would be big news – if it were true.

Del Rey NEVER had a tour scheduled for the Spring in the first place.

“There has never been a Spring tour announced or cancelled,” her rep tells Gossip Cop.

In actuality, as previously announced, the singer plans to hit the road in October.

And as for claims that Del Rey is backing away from live performances altogether after “SNL,” the star is still scheduled to play in California this week.

Barbara Walters took to the airwaves Monday morning to slam reports claiming she’s in a “bidding war” with Oprah Winfrey for an exclusive interview with Pippa Middleton.

The rumor, which started in the Mirror and was picked up by outlets like the New York Post and The Daily Beast, claims the “rival chat show heavyweights” are “‘pulling out all the stops’ to secure her as a guest for an hour-long special.”

The Mirror goes on to allege Walters “is pushing bosses to offer a six-figure deal for the chat” with Middleton, who is releasing a party-planning book later this year.

On “The View,” Walters said the reports are completely fabricated.

“It’s not true,” the veteran journalist said. “ABC News does not pay for interviews.”

She added, “To make it clear: Would I like to do the interview? Yes. I think she’s a charming, beautiful girl. Will I pay to do the interview? No.”

A member of the New York condo board whose strict rules about pit bulls may have led distraught soap actor Nick Santino to euthanize his dog and kill himself says she takes no responsibility for the tragic development.

“I’m sorry the man is dead, but it has nothing to do with the pet policy,” Marilyn Fireman tells the New York Post.

She adds, “You just assumed that [Santino's suicide] was a result of a board’s decision.”

The actor, who appeared on “All My Children” and “Guiding Light,” was reportedly depressed in recent months, and particularly devastated about his building’s complaints concerning his beloved pit bull, Rocco.

On Tuesday, a grief-stricken Santino put his dog to sleep, wrote a suicide note, and overdosed on pills.

His sister says he and Rocco’s ashes will be buried together.

A struggling soap opera actor named Nick Santino killed himself this week after euthanizing his beloved dog.

On Wednesday, police discovered Santino, dead of a deliberate drug overdose, only hours after the devastated actor put his pit bull Rocco to sleep.

“Today I betrayed my best friend and put down my best friend,” Santino wrote in his suicide note. “Rocco trusted me and I failed him. He didn’t deserve this.”

It appears that Santino felt he had no option but to euthanize the pit bull amid complaints from his Manhattan apartment building, which banned the breed but had allowed Rocco to stay under a set of strict rules.

The upsetting story was first reported by the New York Post.

According to the newspaper, Santino, who made appearances on shows including “All My Children” and “Guiding Light,” adopted Rocco from a shelter several years ago.

In recent months, the depressed actor reportedly felt more and more pressure from his building’s management and neighbors to get rid of the pit bull.

It’s not entirely clear why Santino felt euthanizing Rocco was his only choice, but he did so on Tuesday, which happened to be the actor’s 47th birthday.

Santino then ended his own life.

The remains of both pet and owner are to be cremated.

A scathing report on the Kardashians in today’s New York Post seems to be a little light on the facts.

The newspaper contends that Kim Kardashian and her ubiquitous family have taken a sharp nosedive in the marketplace.

“Everything the reality family touches turns absolutely toxic,” charges the article, claiming “party promoters, magazine editors and television execs [are] all scrambling to blacklist them.”

Really?

According to so-called “insiders” for the Post, ratings for the family’s reality show “have plummeted,” with magazines and products carrying the Kardashian name supposedly “unmarketable.”

That’s not exactly true.

For instance, “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” is up 43% from the previous season and averaging its best ratings ever, with more than 3 million total weekly viewers.

Interestingly, the Post never mentions the show.

The newspaper alleges that “the wheels came off” for Kim in the wake of her split from Kris Humphries, and claims promoters have cooled on bringing her in for personal appearances.

“Kim was once paid $600,000 to spend New Year’s Eve at Tao Las Vegas,” write the Post. “Now it’s the total opposite.”

Huh?

That reported payday was for this New Year’s Eve – the one just two weeks ago, well after the Humphries breakup.

The article also quotes a single publicist who’s gotten “bored” with the Kardashians and one club owner who jokes that he’d “pay her $600,000 personally not to [appear]” to make it seem like there’s a huge trend toward “blacklisting” the family.

As Forbes found out, a number of other details in the original article, including the premise that magazines with Kardashians on the cover saw sales drop recently, are cherry picked and misleading.

One top editor at a major weekly tells Gossip Cop of the Kardashians: “They still sell.”

Essentially, the Post piece tries to invent a dramatic story that simply isn’t there.

If anything is “toxic” here, it’s the reporting.

In a piece on Monday about Wendy Williams and the success of her daytime talk show, the New York Post notes that Heather Locklear is her “most wanted guest.”

Understandable.

But then the paper says Williams “would love” to have the TV star because she “particularly relates to Locklear since they’re around the same age and went through the heartbreak of miscarriage during the same time.”

What?!

We don’t recall that.

And a rep for Locklear confirmed, “Heather never had a miscarriage.”

Still, we’re sure the “Melrose Place” alum would make an excellent guest.

Candace Bushnell and Charles Askegard, her ballet dancing husband of nine years, have split up.

The “Sex and the City” author filed for divorce on Friday from Askegard, who left the New York Ballet in September after 24 years to launch his own troupe, Ballet Next.

The first signs of trouble came when Bushnell was a no-show at Next Ballet’s premiere performance in New York on November 23.

Bushnell confirmed the breakup through her rep: “We had some wonderful times in our nine-year marriage, and I still care about Charles as a person. I respect his desire to pursue his own happiness and hope that we will continue to be friends in the future.”

Gossip Cop is told the two remain on good terms.

Askegard told the New York Post: “This is a difficult time for me. Although we have sadly grown apart, I will always respect and care about Candace and appreciate the time we spent together.”

Eva Longoria has plunged into a “racy affair” with L.A. Lakers star Matt Barnes, reports Star magazine, which goes on to claim that their alleged tryst began when he was engaged to another woman.

Even though Longoria has already publicly stated there’s nothing romantic going on between her and Barnes, the tabloid claims otherwise, and has reproduced “sexy emails” supposedly exchanged between the pair.

The mag says Longoria “first tweeted a pic of herself partying in Vegas with Matt on Oct. 16 — when he was still engaged to ‘Basketball Wives L.A.’ star Gloria Govan,” and then the following week, when Barnes and Govan split, he emailed her with the greeting, “Heeeey there sexy.”

They also supposedly “made plans to skype,” with Longoria allegedly suggesting, “From the shower??? Hehehe.”

And after the New York Post ran a story about their so-called affair, the tab claims Longoria wrote to Barnes, “Did you see the NY Post? I guess no more risky business. Lol we have to lay low from here on out.”

Star then quotes an “insider” as saying, “Eva and Matt are sleeping together. It’s a full-blown fling!”

And what about Longoria’s boyfriend, Eduardo Cruz?

The mag claims she “hasn’t been seen with former lover Eduardo Cruz since Oct. 12.”

Um, yes, she has.

In fact, Longoria and Cruz were photographed cuddling on a yacht in Miami Beach last weekend.

Regardless, a source close to the “Desperate Housewives” star tells Gossip Cop the alleged emails are 100% FAKE.

Our source swears Longoria and Barnes are just friends and are working together on her “Padres Contra El Cáncer” charity, as well as an untitled TV project.

In an interview with Seventeen, Nikki Reed made a few candid comments about the changing nature of cast members’ relationships behind the scenes on the Twilight Saga movies.

“In the beginning, it was innocent and fun, and we were like one big happy family – it was like being at sleep away camp,” says Reed. “And then success comes along and changes the dynamic. We’re not all best friends, and we’re not all going to hang out together after the final movie is done.”

Reed tells Seventeen some of the unraveled relationships on the set were “very sad.”

It seems pretty reasonable.

A huge group of actors and actresses, many of whom were still just kids when the franchise launched, have worked together for years, and in that time there have been friendships made and frayed.

But the New York Post couldn’t resist turning Reed’s remarks into something way more dramatic.

“Cast discord at Breaking Dawn premiere’?” screams the paper’s headline on Tuesday, insinuating that the humans who play the vampires and werewolves were about to throw down on the red carpet.

The Post also interprets Reed’s remarks to mean that some cast members “might even be enemies.”

Let’s get a grip on reality here.

Media outlets usually jump all over celebrities for not speaking honestly about what goes on behind the scenes in Hollywood.

In this case, Reed made the mistake of admitting that actors and actresses are human beings whose relationships sometimes ebb and flow, and the Post rewarded her by printing a headline that makes it seem as those the Twilight stars are constantly at each other’s throats.

Not everyone is everyone else’s best friend. That simply isn’t going to happen when a large cast makes five movies together.

But the notion that Reed revealed some kind of vicious secret feuding is just not true.

Gossip Cop can’t blame celebs for being cautious in interviews when their words are likely to be sensationalized like they were here.

“Eva Longoria may have her eye on a new baller,” begins a piece in the New York Post, which tries to link the “Desperate Housewives” star to Matt Barnes of the L.A. Lakers.

The tab reports that Longoria, who divorced San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker, was “very flirty” with Barnes on Thursday when they had dinner together at New York’s Il Mulino.

And while the paper acknowledges they were eating with two others, the Post goes out of its way to say Longoria “seemed very focused on Barnes,” who recently split with his fiancee, “basketball Wives” star Gloria Govan.

Then the paper quotes a “spy” at the restaurant, who seemingly knows what’s going through their minds: “There was definitely a spark between Eva and Matt. They weren’t seated next to each other, but you could tell there was something between them.”

Seriously?!

“They weren’t seated next to each other,” but “there was definitely a spark between Eva and Matt”?

That was enough for the Post to go on?

Longoria is still dating Eduardo Cruz, and her involvement — besides just being friends — with Barnes is that they work together on the actress’ “Padres Contra El Cáncer” charity.

Longoria took to her WhoSay page to blast the paper: “Once again, press gets it wrong, matt barnes and I are not dating! We are doing a charity event together for Padres and Athletes vs Cancer. Why is the truth never the headline?”

Someone seems to think Jennifer Aniston‘s boyfriend is full of bologna.

A prankster allegedly covered Justin Theroux‘s BMW motorcycle with slices of the deli meat when it was parked outside of Aniston’s West Village apartment early Thursday morning.

A person who claims to be Aniston’s neighbor tells the New York Post they spotted “what clearly was bologna” resting on the bike’s seat, wheels, handlebars, muffler and engine around 8 a.m. yesterday.

Shortly after, the motorcycle was cleaned off, says the witness.

But a rep for Aniston says it’s the supposed “neighbor” who’s full of it, explaining, “There are paparazzi outside their apartment 24/7. Don’t you think they would have photographed the person doing it, if indeed this actually happened, which I do not know for sure.”

Anna Wintour is pulling out all the stops to get Kate Middleton for the cover of U.S. Vogue, according to a report.

The New York Post says Wintour is enlisting the help of famed photographer Mario Testino, a regular Vogue contributor and longtime friend of the royal family, to land the Duchess for the magazine.

Testino shot Prince William and Middleton’s engagement photos, as well as their July Vanity Fair cover.

Yet even with the Testino connection, securing Middleton for the shoot would be a longshot.

Buckingham Palace tells us there are no plans for the Duchess to do any type of Vogue shoot.

Kim Kardashian was a “no-show” at Kris Humphries‘ sister’s runway modeling debut on Tuesday, reports the New York Post.

The paper claims that Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe were confirmed to watch Kaela Humphries walk in the Richie Rich fashion show at Lavo, but they ditched the event without even so much as calling to notify the venue.

According to a supposed “spy” for the paper, “Kim and her sisters were supposed to come and sit front-row [at the show], but there were three empty seats.”

The Post points out that Humphries was in attendance at Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner‘s runway debut on Monday, and quotes the alleged source as saying, “He’s always there to support her family, and she wasn’t there for his.”

But the Kardashians were NEVER slated to attend the show in the first place.

A rep for Kim tells Gossip Cop, “She was never supposed to be there, and her sisters were never confirmed” for the show either.

In fact, Kim and Kourtney were shooting their reality show, while Khloe wasn’t even in New York at the time.

A spokesperson for Lavo also calls the story “not true,” reiterating that Kardashian was never set to attend the event.

Alec Baldwin and a barista at his local Starbucks have a conflict brewing.

The “30 Rock” star tweeted his displeasure with the employee earlier this week, writing, “Starbucks on 93 and B’way. Uptight Queen barrista (sic) named JAY has an attitude problem.”

Baldwin didn’t elaborate at the time about what transpired, but now a Starbucks co-worker claims Baldwin was the one who was overly steamed at the coffee counter.

“I was here when it happened – it was really just him being an [expletive],” alleges the second barista, Giovan, telling the New York Post, “[Baldwin] was very rude and disrespectful and arrogant. He’s probably the rudest guy I’ve ever met.”

“Jay” (not, apparently, his actual name) “didn’t do anything wrong,” claims Giovan. “It was all that dude just being psycho.”

Baldwin begs to differ with the story portraying him as a combative caffeine-head, tweeting this afternoon, “What makes [the Post reporter] such a sleazy, from-under-a-rock tab gnat? What drives these tab ‘writers’? do u care?”

As for the coffee giant, Baldwin’s rep said, “Starbucks is a great company. Unfortunately, not all of their employees can live up to their high standards.”

Gossip Cop has obtained a strongly worded letter from Rachel Uchitel‘s legal team to the New York Post demanding a retraction and apology for publishing comments Uchitel says were taken completely out of context.

As we reported yesterday, Uchitel claims a Post story quoting her on the subject of her fiancé, 9/11 victim James Andrew O’Grady, twisted her words to make it seem as though she were grateful he had died.

Uchitel’s legal team struck back today, alleging that a “crude and malicious juxtaposition of words” represented “abuse” toward her and a “disservice” to O’Grady’s memory.

The full text of the letter, addressed to the editor of the Post‘s Page Six, is below:

I represent Rachel Uchitel who was the subject of two Page Six articles, one on September 6, 2011 and the other on September 8, 2011.

The article is inaccurate and conveys a disastrously false impression of my client.  Rachel Uchitel, who lost her most beloved fiancé on September 11, 2001, never said the words she is quoted to have said about their relationship with him.

The false quotes do not set forth her feelings about James Andrew O’Grady.  The false words contradict her previous quotes and abuse her.

The words in the article, now being picked up by other media, have taken on a life of their own.  It is now a constant abuse because of your wrongdoing.

The newspaper used twice, on September 6th and September 8th, a crude and malicious juxtaposition of words which not only caused Ms. Uchitel present and future embarrassment but also future damage, including financial damage.

She has been in the public eye since 2001.  She has been quoted at length.  She has never previously said anything like the words she is quoted as saying about her and Mr. O’Grady.

The false quotes are a disservice to his memory, their life together, and her life.

There must be redress on your part.  In the interests of decency and journalistic integrity, the article should be clarified and the false words withdrawn to keep the record straight.

An apology must issue to Ms. Uchitel.

Rachel Uchitel is furious with comments attributed to her about the death of her fiancé, James Andrew O’Grady, in the September 11 attacks, which she says the New York Post took out of context.

In the controversial Post piece, Uchitel is quoted as saying, “I believe Andy was meant to die because he was too good. I’m almost happy it ended the way it did because I’ve learned so many lessons from him. It would have been tragic if we got into fights and then divorced.”

The Post then has her saying that had O’Grady lived, “I would be a fat housewife with three kids in Sands Point, Long Island.”

But Uchitel insists her words were taken completely out of context and their meaning twisted.

“The people who wrote and edited that story should be fired,” she tells Gossip Cop. “This time is about remembering and honoring the victims of 9/11, and instead the NY Post wants to make a gossip column out of my words.”

Uchitel adds, “Yes, if 9/11 hadn’t taken place I’d be a housewife to Andy, married with children, and it would have been everything I’ve ever wanted,” blasting the Post for making it seem as though she were thankful he’d died.

Uchitel is weighing her legal options against the newspaper.

File this under the most awkward plane ride ever.

Kim Kardashian‘s new husband Kris Humphries and her sex tape co-star Ray J reportedly sat across the aisle from each other on a Delta flight from L.A. to New Orleans last Sunday.

According to the New York Post, Humphries immediately moved to a seat out of sight from the “Sexy Can I” singer, but Ray J decided to confront the uncomfortable situation head-on.

Ray J supposedly approached Humphries in his seat and congratulated him on his marriage to Kardashian, but the basketball player continued to play dumb.

A source for the paper says Ray J told Humphries, “Come on, you know who I am. I just want to say congratulations.”

And Humphries finally gave up the act and conceded, “Oh yeah, yeah, I’m sorry I know who you are.”

Shia LaBeouf was reportedly kicked out of the L.A. opening of The Box nightclub on Friday after an altercation with a friend of Marilyn Manson.

According to the New York Post, the actor “exchanged tense words with a friend of Manson’s, who lunged over the table at Shia, and Shia lunged back. Security stepped in quickly and broke it up before any punches were thrown.”

The paper says LaBeouf was escorted out of the bar by two security guards, with his girlfriend Karolyn Pho running down the stairs after them.

A rep for the Transformers star denied the report, telling the Post LaBeouf “actually left the club early as planned… exiting through a crowded room was apparently misinterpreted. No altercation occurred.”

Eight months after tying the knot, Joanna Garcia and Nick Swisher are finally going on a honeymoon — to Afghanistan!

The star of ABC‘s “Best Without You” and the Yankees outfielder will visit U.S. troops in November.

Swisher explained to the New York Post that the idea for the trip came about when “three military officers came to the Yankee locker room and asked if any of us would like to visit the troops. My hand went straight up, I said, ‘I’m in.’ I knew Joanna would want to go.”

“It will be our first trip since we got married,” noted the baseball star.

Garcia added, “We are both really looking forward to visiting the troops. Yes, it isn’t a traditional honeymoon, but it is something we both feel strongly about.”

The couple wed last December, but had to postpone taking a trip due to work commitments.

Bret Michaels and Donald Trump could be getting back into the reality show business together.

The Poison rocker, who won Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2010, is reportedly in talks with The Donald to develop a series called “Something To Believe In.”

According to the New York Post, the show would feature Michaels traveling across America and helping people dealing with adversity.

“Mr. Trump thinks Bret is a wonderful guy. [He] wants to consider it,” a rep for the business icon says.

Michaels has gone through his share of tough times of late, having suffered a nearly fatal brain hemorrhage and a stroke last year before bouncing back to perform on stage.

A homeless man has been living in Ann Curry‘s under-renovation Manhattan townhouse off and on for more than a year, and other vagrants have also been using the unoccupied property for shelter.

Police removed the hobo on Saturday morning after he was discovered by a neighbor. Because he was found asleep in the vestibule (and not the house itself), cops did not arrest him.

The unidentified squatter seemed less than concerned with the “Today Show” co-anchor.

“Ann Curry means crap to me!” he told the New York Post. “The reason I lived there was because they chased me out of Central Park.”

The man first trespassed last year when Curry’s contractors failed to lock the property.

“I’ve been living there for about a year now,” he explains.

“I’m not a drug addict. I just don’t have a place to sleep.”

Curry and her husband, Brian Ross, who currently live in the Gramercy Park neighborhood further downtown, purchased the four-story residence on the Upper West Side for $2.9 million in 2003, launching an enormous renovation project.

Construction ended several years ago amid Buildings Department violations and neighbors suing over the noise and debris, which allegedly forced at least one longtime resident to move.

But while Curry has not settled into the property, bums have, leading neighbors to worry about accidental fires and other potential calamities.

Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg have reportedly broken up after four years together.

The split was amicable and rooted in their incompatible work schedules, according to sources for the New York Post.

They are described as still friendly and close.

Katzenberg, who co-created MTV’s “The Hard Times of RJ Berger,” is the son of entertainment industry titan Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Last month, Hilton’s sister Paris parted ways with her boyfriend, Cy Waits.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have set a wedding date, according to the New York Post.

The paper says they’re getting hitched on August 20 in California “with a camera crew at the ready.”

According to the Post, “They’re having separate bachelor/bachelorette parties at clubs Tao and Lavo in Las Vegas later this month.”

A rep for Kardashian would not comment to Gossip Cop about the wedding date.

Well, obviously there will be “a camera crew at the ready.”

But here’s what we’ve really confirmed. A source tells us Kardashian will have her bachelorette party at the end of the month at Tao, while Humphries parties with the boys at Lavo.

Mike Tyson and his wife Lakiha Spicer threw a surprise “wedding” bash at the M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas this past Saturday.

The couple surprised 150 guests, who thought they were attending a joint birthday party for Tyson and Spicer, with an elaborate vows renewal that featured a live band, a wedding cake, and an extravagant candy station.

Tyson and Spicer were first married in a quickie Vegas ceremony in 2009.

The bride wore a white gown and veil for the traditional Muslim ceremony, while Tyson donned a black tux and white satin tie.

Directors Brett Ratner and James Toback toasted the couple.

Also in attendance was Tyson and Spicer’s six-month-old baby Morocco.

“Vanity Fair has shot under-house-arrest Lindsay Lohan to be its cover siren” for the much-coveted September issue, reports the New York Post.

According to a so-called “source” for the paper, the shoot took place last weekend, and Lohan “bleached her hair blond in preparation.”

The Post claims the September issue with Lohan will “focus on ‘the new Lindsay.’”

This is all very interesting, but Lohan insiders assure Gossip Cop it’s “not true,” and that the actress did NOT shoot a cover for Vanity Fair.

Additionally, a Vanity Fair source confirmed that Lohan is NOT slated for an upcoming cover.

As you’ll recall, Gossip Cop was the first outlet to report Lohan’s last Vanity Fair cover, which ran in October, and was shot on the actress’ birthday in July shortly before she went to jail.

Howie Kohlenberg, who appeared on the very first episode of Jerry Seinfeld‘s “The Marriage Ref,” is blaming the NBC show for the breakup of his marriage.

Kohlenberg says that after he and his wife, Christine, fought on the program — which begins its second season tonight — she became fixated on cashing in on their appearance and becoming a reality star, while ditching their 14-year marriage and young son in the process.

“Jerry, Mr. Billionaire, I blame. And his show,” says Kohlenberg, who claims he’s now bankrupt and facing eviction.

Kohlenberg explains to the New York Post that he and his ex appeared on “The Marriage Ref” to “drum up some business” for their now out-of-business spa in New York. “They promised to promote the spa on air. They didn’t.”

“Our arguments were always over the business,” notes Kohlenberg, “but the argument they [producers] wanted [to present on-air] was that I took my wedding ring off when I played basketball… It wasn’t necessarily a true angle because she really didn’t care if I took it off or not.”

He adds, ”The people on the show were pumping us up, saying, ‘You’re going to wake up and be stars. You’re going to be famous and make money.’ The producer kept saying her lips looked great, and all of a sudden she was getting a lot of Botox… Now she’s getting this huge head. She wants to do Playboy.”

Kohlenberg acknowledges, “I’m not saying our marriage was perfect, but it put it in a whole new direction… She had all these ideas that ‘I have to live my life and be an actress.’”

Next, says Kohlenberg, his wife flew off to L.A., where she had a bit part in a film called Chakra Love, and then moved in with a Canadian producer.

She also appeared in a reality show pilot titled “Shopaholics.”

“Everybody thinks reality shows are glamorous — you’re going to get rich, and it’s going to be the next ‘Jersey Shore,’” says Kohlenberg. “They make you jump through hoops, the bottom line is they don’t give a s- – t. You’re just another number.”

According to the spurned husband, “The headline should read, ‘Jerry Seinfeld ruined my life: the danger of reality shows.’”

A rep for Seinfeld declined to comment.

“Sarah Jessica Parker got called for jury duty yesterday, but didn’t appear eager to serve,” reports the New York Post.

The paper says Parker was overheard “griping to another prospective panelist about the better things she had to do than cool her heels in Manhattan federal court.”

The “Sex and the City” star supposedly made different excuses about why she couldn’t serve, allegedly telling fellow panelists, “My daughter is at home sick,” and then later noted she had an “international flight” the following day.

However, that’s NOT what happened.

Far from “griping,” Parker, who arrived early to court yesterday, was happy to serve, and she NEVER offered any reasons to be excused. She also did not have – nor claimed to have had – an “international flight” today.

In fact, even though one of Parker’s twin daughters was running a temperature of 103 degrees, the actress arranged for a babysitter and coordinated with husband Matthew Broderick, just so that she could fulfill her jury duty obligation.

Gossip Cop spoke directly with Parker, who tells us, “I’m one of the few who enjoys jury duty,” noting she’s met interesting people the past two times she’s willingly served.

And despite the Post‘s claim that she was angling for an out, Parker never listed any reasons why she couldn’t serve when filling out a form given to prospective jurors yesterday morning nor did she offer any excuses when later asked by court officials or the presiding judge.

Incredibly, the Post was fully aware that Parker didn’t note any hardships or excuses on her juror form when she handed it in before court began. Instead, the tab only quoted (albeit inaccurately) a conversation Parker had  four hours later about her  sick daughter in an effort to make it seem like she was trying to get of jury duty.

A court spokeswoman confirms to Gossip Cop that Parker never attempted to slide out of jury duty, and “had every intention to serve.”

Actually, Parker far from acts like a Hollywood diva. She’s routinely spotted in New York walking her son James to school, dropping off dry cleaning, and even taking the subway, which she did yesterday to court.

Not only did the actress tell Gossip Cop she would be “happy to serve” when asked again, but she encourages everyone to “do it.”

“I respect the process,” says Parker, adding, “it’s a necessity.”

Prince William and Catherine Middleton grace the July cover of Vanity Fair for a feature about their “New Life” together.

The never-before-seen photo of the glowing couple was shot by Mario Testino, who took the royal couple’s official engagement pictures on November 25, nine days after they announced they were getting married.

Testino was also the same photographer who captured images of William’s mother, Princess Diana, for a series of portraits that ran in the Vanity Fair 14 years ago in the July 1997 issue.

In addition to a never-before-seen cover photo of William and Kate, the Vanity Fair spread features photos Diana, Prince Harry, and Prince Charles.
