Cyndi Lauper sang the National Anthem at a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at the U.S. Open, and kinda, well… messed it up.

Christina Aguilera realized very quickly that she flubbed the lyrics to the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLV, and was extremely apologetic. After her rendition of the National Anthem, Aguilera explained her gaffe in a statement.

Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes Jones on “Glee,” has just been tapped to sing the National Anthem at the All-Star game on Tuesday at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.

The Boston Celtics were up 3 games to 2 in the NBA Finals before Christina Aguilera sang the National Anthem on Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. But shortly after her rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner,” the Lakers began to trounce the Celtics to tie up the series. Tonight is the seventh and deciding game of the series, and the Lakers have tapped Aguilera to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” again. Like the Lakers, do you believe she’s their good luck charm?
