The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department says Robert Wagner is not a suspect in the new investigation into Natalie Wood‘s 1981 death.

Lt. John Corina held a press conference on Friday about the decision to reopen the case, explaining that the department had received evidence that it deemed credible enough to warrant a second look into Wood’s drowning off the coast of California.
