More than 80 stars lent their voices and support for “We Are the World” remake

Dozens and dozens of stars were at the Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles earlier today to record a remake of "We Are the World" to benefit those devastated by the earthquake in Haiti. Among those lending their voices and support were Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Wyclef Jean, Pink, Jennifer Hudson, the Jonas Brothers, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, Tony Bennett, and Justin Bieber, to name just a few. White House Concert Planned with Bob Dylan, Seal and others; Queen Latifah to Host

President Obama has invited performers including Bob Dylan and Natalie Cole to the White House next month for a concert commemorating the music of the civil rights movement. In a move far less surprising than the ones Michael Jackson did onstage, now comes word that the Jackson tribute concert, slated to take place on September 26 in Vienna, is being pushed back to June – and to London. The reason? Simple. The event organizers couldn’t pull it together and their supposed lineup of stars, including Mary J. Michael Jackson Tribute Concert to Feature – Believe it or Not – Chris Brown

An enormous tribute concert for the late Michael Jackson will happen in Vienna later this month, Jermaine Jackson and other organizers announced, and the lineup of performers includes Mary J. Blige, Sister Sledge, Natalie Cole, and troubled star Chris Brown. So far thirteen artists are confirmed, but event promoter Georg Kindel said that up to 25 performers are expected be part of the show, which will take place outside the 17th-century Schoenbrunn Palace because, according to Jermaine Jackson, Michael "loved castles."
