Don’t fret, Pauly D lovers.

You can still get your fix after season 5 of “Jersey Shore” ends in March.

The deejay’s spinoff, “The Pauly D Project,” will premiere on MTV just two weeks later, on March 29.

The show will air after the network’s reboot of “Punk’d,” reports EW.

Gossip Cop has reached out to MTV for confirmation on that.

Less than one week after revealing his years-long struggle with anxiety, Vinny Guadagnino has announced he’s releasing a self-help book on the subject.

Control the Crazy: My Plan to Stop Stressing, Avoid Drama and Maintain Your Inner Cool, which will be published in April, explores different ways to manage anxiety and stress.

The “Jersey Shore” star was seen moving out of the gang’s Seaside Heights pad in last week’s episode after he decided to make his emotional health a priority.

After the show aired, a PSA featuring Guadagnino was released, where he encouraged others struggling with similar issues to get help.

He’s also partnered with The Jed Foundation and the Half of Us Campaign to spread awareness.

The reality star says his recent struggles while filming the hit MTV series inspired him to turn his personal experiences into what he calls a “prescriptive memoir.”

“Once it was put in the spotlight I said, ‘You know what? Now’s a great opportunity,’” he explains to Entertainment Weekly.

He adds, “People get it, they’ll relate to it, and they know if they want to seek help or read a self-help book that they can relate to, then now’s the perfect time to let it out.”

Boy wizard Daniel Radcliffe recently joined MTV’s Josh Horowitz for a segment of “American Talk: Ghost Protocol.”

Things got intense.

Radcliffe was quizzed on the titles of all four films in The Twilight Saga (we won’t spoil how he did) and, at one point, was instructed to hit Horowitz a la Fight Club.

The duo cover other important aspects of American culture and history, too, including Neil Diamond, Transformers, and playing the bongos naked.

It was the return of “Jersday” Thursday, with the season 5 premiere of “Jersey Shore.”

On the MTV reality show, the cast moves back into their Seaside Heights digs after temporarily moving to Italy.

After the guys stop worrying about how pale they became, the group visits the infamous boardwalk and is surprised with a welcome home party.

And that’s where the drama resumes, as Snooki worries boyfriend Jionni LaValle will find out she hooked up with The Situation.

“There’s a hurricane situation and it’s headed straight for Snooki Island,” the Sitch warns.

Vinny also struggles with feelings of homesickness and whether he wants to stay in the house.

“I can’t function in this environment,” he complains.

Snooki’s makeover continues!

After a massive slim-down, the petite “Jersey Shore” star says she plans to go under the knife – for a boob job.

“They’re a good size now, but I want them [lifted] when I’m not wearing a bra,” she explains.

So, when’s the big surgery?

“Very soon. Very soon,” Snooki says. “I hope in the next couple of months.”

The decision has already gotten an enthusiastic response from one of her MTV cast mates.

JWoww tells E! Online, “I’m definitely taking her to my doctor,” whose handiwork we’ve already seen.

“I’ll go in and get mine redone to make her feel better,” she adds.

Katy Perry has been named MTV‘s “Artist of the Year” for 2011.

It’s the first time the network has handed out the honor.

MTV made the announcement on Thursday.

A seven-person panel selected Perry ahead of Nicki Minaj (#2), Adele (#3) and other major talents.

Perry’s Teenage Dream album produced a record-tying five #1 singles, and videos including “Last Friday Night (TGIF)” and “E.T.” became major hits both online and on TV.

Her “Firework” won Video of the Year at last August’s VMAs.

Ryan Gosling says he’s “embarrassed” about breaking up a street fight in New York, a bizarre incident caught on viral video.

The actor explains that he’d just come from “the gymnasium” when saw the battle, which apparently began over the theft of a long-coveted painting.

“He wanted the painting so bad he had to steal it because he couldn’t afford it,” says Gosling.

“So he finally steals the painting and he’s getting his ass kicked by his hero, and then the guy from The Notebook shows up and makes it weirder,” he tells MTV.

Gosling seems genuinely embarrassed by the incident.

“The whole thing, nobody wins. Nobody won,” he concludes.

Adam Levine of Maroon 5 not only won’t be at the MTV Video Music Awards, but he’s not even going to watch them.

“The Voice” judge voiced his criticism of the network today.

Levine first tweeted, ”the VMA’s. one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I’m drawing a line in the sand. f**k you VMA’s.”

MTV then responded via Twitter: ”Soooo you’ll be tuning in at 9/8C tomorrow right? (BTW, bonus points if you TwitPic your 2004 Moonman!)”

Levine later shot back, “still waiting to have my ‘jerry macguire mission statement moment of deep regret… ‘ not happening. phew!”

Pauly D just called out Abercrombie & Fitch for asking that the “Jersey Shore” cast refrain from wearing its merchandise, tweeting, “Hmmm if They Don’t Want Us To Wear Those Clothes Why Make GTL Shirts #yourPRsux,” along with a photo (below) of the shirt.

The reality star makes an excellent point, considering that it was the cast who trademarked the term “G.T.L” (gym, tan, laundry) in the first place.

Anyhow, it seems like the MTV cast will have the last laugh – Abercrombie’s stock plummeted 9% ($500 million) since the company announced it was offering The Situation and other “Jersey Shore” stars compensation to stop wearing its clothing.

Johnny Knoxville has taken to Twitter to mourn the loss of his “brother” and Jackass co-star Ryan Dunn, who died in a horrific car accident in Pennsylvania this morning.

Knoxville says, “Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan, I love you buddy.”

Steve-O similarly used Twitter to express his sadness. He tweeted, “I don’t know what to say, except I love Ryan Dunn and I’m really going to miss him.”

Benji Madden, Cary Hart and Jared Followill of Kings of Leon also tweeted remembrances of Dunn.

Madden wrote, “I’m very Sad and Shocked to hear about Ryan Dunn. My thoughts & Prayers are with his Family.”

Hart said, “RIP ryan dunn. You were an amazing guy and you were cut way to short. Enjoyed the times we had. My heart goes out to his family and friends.”

“I’m heartbroken to say that our great friend we made over the last 8 months has passed away. Honestly in shock. Devastated,” tweeted Followill.

MTV also commented on the passing of Dunn, saying, “We’re deeply saddened by the passing of a member of the MTV family, Ryan Dunn. Our hearts and thoughts are with his friends and family.”

Later in the evening, Jessica Simpson tweeted, “It has taken me all day to put my thoughts into words, but there are no words to describe the loss of such an incredible man. RIP Ryan Dunn.”

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is the latest “Jersey Shore” star to  get a spinoff deal with MTV.

There are no specifics now what the possible series would be about, but a pilot will be shot sometime later this year.

If MTV picks up the show, The Situation will join the two other “Jersey Shore” spinoff series, one starring Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and the other fronted by Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio.

The Snooki/JWoww and DJ Pauly D shows are slated to air in 2012.

Lauren Conrad‘s new reality show may have been dropped by MTV in February, but the former “Hills” star already has a new venture!

Conrad just locked down a major three-book deal with HarperCollins, her rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

The trilogy, entitled The Fame Game, focuses on the fame-loving Madison Parker (from her previous L.A. Candy books) and her struggle to make it in the wonderful world of reality television.

Lauren Conrad is losing a bit of her touch on “reality.”

The fashionista’s upcoming reality show has just been scrapped by MTV.

“We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result,” Conrad tells Gossip Cop in a statement. However, she adds, ”MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life.”

As opposed to “The Hills,” which followed the reality star and her friends as they partied around Hollywood, the thrust of the yanked show was Conrad’s work as a fashion designer.

“We agreed going into the project that this show would be an aspirational one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships,” Conrad says. “We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn’t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it.”

“Jersey Shore” just continues to woww.

Last night’s episode drew a record 8.9 million viewers, making it the most-watched series broadcast in MTV history - beating last week’s record of 8.6 million viewers.

In the episode, Snooki gets out of jail and meets the “perfect gorilla juicehead,” Jwoww breaks up with her long-term boyfriend, and Deena hooks up with a Ronnie-like clone.

Pretty standard stuff.

In 2011, MTV should resolve to be more careful when it passes judgment.

The outlet was so eager to needle Kristen Stewart in a piece “grading” celebrities on their old New Year’s resolutions, it used a fake new “resolution” another site jokingly suggested for Stewart as though it were the real thing.

Here’s Stewart’s supposed quote: “I resolve not to resent all of the hatred that’s sent my way, and to remember that it’s only borne out of jealousy, because I am the luckiest girl in the whole, wide world.”

In case it’s not obvious, those worlds are not actually Stewart’s.

They’re part of a slideshow of “totally made up suggestions” for resolutions for 2011 put together recently by Celebuzz.

If MTV had bothered to check where the Stewart “quote” originated, they’d know it was part of the same feature in which Zac Efron “resolves” to “hook up with only half of the available females in the world” and Snooki “resolves” not to tan to the point of looking like “a traffic cone.”

In other words – completely fake.

Instead, MTV graded the comment as though Stewart made it herself – at the beginning of 2010. Claiming the actress “still seems to be carrying around a lot of resentment,” the site gives her a “D” on fulfilling her alleged “resolution.”

Paul Delvecchio, better known as Pauly D on “Jersey Shore,” is getting his own show.

MTV and Delvecchio have closed a series option deal and are developing a new project that will explore his “life away from the shore.”

“At the heart of ‘Jersey Shore’ is the unique and genuine cast and Pauly D truly embodies both qualities,” says Chris Linn, the network’s executive vice president of programming and head of production.

Delvecchio is the first cast member from the “Jersey Shore” cultural phenomenon to get his own series.

“He’s distinguished himself onscreen as the fun-loving, well-coiffed and dependable guy you can’t help but want to hang out with.”

Ronnie Ortiz of “Jersey Shore” has been indicted on an assault charge stemming from his infamous punch on Season 1 of the hit show.

He’s been hit with one count of third-degree assault, which could carry up to five years in prison with a conviction.

In September 2009, Ortiz knocked out Stephen Izzo while MTV cameras rolled at the Karma nightclub in Seaside Heights, NJ.

Ortiz is scheduled for a pre-arraignment conference on January 4.

Izzo is suing Ortiz, MTV, the show’s producers and the club owners.

It turns out Kardashian just spent a little too much time snacking near the plentiful food carts in New York City.

Snooki’s ball drop had to be moved to the Jersey Shore because Times Square officials had a problem with it. Boo hoo.

Not only will the traditional crystal ball drop in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, but MTV will literally drop Snooki to ring in 2011.

As part of MTV’s “New Year’s Bash,” the cable network will drop Snooki – inside a ball – in Times Square while other “Jersey Shore” stars lead the crowd in a giant fist pump. Apparently, there’s a Guinness World Record for fist pumping – and MTV wants to break it.

As if that weren’t enough entertainment, the one-hour special from 11 p.m. to  midnight on December 31, will also feature clips recapping the year and a couple of performances by Flo Rida.

Whitney Cummings will host the extravaganza.

Robert Pattinson‘s popularity is comparable to Titanic-era Leonardo DiCaprio‘s, according to Pattinson’s Water for Elephants co-star, Reese Witherspoon.

“It was that kind of fervor about a person,” the actress tells MTV about her experience with the Twilight heartthrob.

“The women lining up outside the set – it was unbelievable – until 5:00 in the morning waiting to just glimpse him.”

Witherspoon admits that she understands where the adoration comes from. “He is extraordinarily attractive. I’m not gonna lie.”

More than that, she’s impressed by how Pattinson has stayed grounded as he rockets to superstardom.

“Robert is such a great guy from a great family. That’s the thing that’s so funny,” says Witherspoon. “He’s not really this bad boy; he’s just a great guy and really worked hard on Water for Elephants.”

JWoww‘s officially a celebrity!

The “Jersey Shore” star, whose real name is Jenni Farley, is now being sued by her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Lippolis, who claims that he scored numerous endorsement and business deals for her, but was never paid a penny in return.

In a lawsuit filed today in New York, Lippolis claims he served as Farley’s business manager, locking down her MTV deal as well as her tanning endorsement with Australian Gold.

Lippolis argues that he was the “sole negotiating agent” in Jwoww’s “Jersey Shore” contract with MTV, which earned her $17,500 per episode plus a $75,000 bonus depending on end-of-the-season ratings.

Sources close to Jwoww tell TMZ she maintains that Lippolis did not negotiate her MTV or tanning contract, and that he was paid for appearances he did book.

Lippolis is asking for $350,000 in damages.

Jeremy Renner could “take over” the Mission: Impossible movies from Tom Cruise.

The actor, who is co-starring with Cruise in Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol, the fourth film in the series, told MTV News, “It’s a franchise to potentially take over. I can’t predict what the future holds and what they want, but that’s certainly the idea.”

When asked whether Ghost Protocol‘s script spells out a passing of the torch from Cruise’s Ethan Hunt to his character, Renner answered, “I can’t really go into the details of the script, because that’s still evolving.”

“It’s Tom’s baby. He’s the engine behind the thing,” continued Renner.

He added, “What happens after that, we’ll see.”

Renner was nominated for an Oscar this year for his performance in The Hurt Locker.

Mission Impossible — Ghost Protocol, is expected to hit theaters in December 2011. Brad Bird is directing.

“Jennifer Aniston is set to be the subject of a reality TV show,” writes Showbiz Spy.

The site claims Aniston “has reportedly been approached by former MTV programming president Tony DiSanto” about doing “a fly-on-the-wall series” on the former “Friends” star.

According to a so-called source, “Viewers would kill to see how she goes about her day-to-day life, what she really eats and get an insight into her love life.”

That same supposed source says DiSanto pitched the show and now “Jen is giving it some thought… It’s just about coming up with the right show that doesn’t make her look foolish.”

Actually, only Showbiz Spy looks foolish.

DiSanto tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “While I’m a huge fan of hers, it is news to me that we are working together.” He adds he’d be “happy to meet [her], though.”

“Eva Longoria annoys Lady Gaga with ham outfit at MTV European Music Awards,” reads the headline of an article in the Mirror.

According to the British tab, when the “Desperate Housewives” star stepped onstage dressed in a ham suit – parodying Lady Gaga’s meat dress – the singing sensation “wasn’t happy.”

The Mirror claims, “Lady Gaga seethed: ‘Why can’t she stop stealing my ideas?’”

Adds the paper’s source, “Gaga didn’t find it funny and said that Eva should find her own gimmicks.”

Really?

Not at all.

In fact, the Mirror’s story is pure baloney.

A source close to Lady Gaga, who was in Budapest and not at the awards show, says the “Poker Face” singer’s reaction was actually the opposite.

“She thought it was hilarious,” a source assures Gossip Cop.

While Miley Cyrus isn’t saying exactly where she’ll be ringing in her 18^th birthday on November 23, she did say what she’s wishing for – her family to “be together.”

“I’m not going to go crazy; [just] have a fun party and then maybe take a vacation with my family… I think we need time to all be together,” says Cyrus, whose parents Billy Ray and Tish recently announced they were filing for divorce.

Cyrus went on to tell MTV News it “would be rad if we could all go to the beach or something… somewhere near water. I’m a water baby; I have to be near the water and I love doing scuba and going out and being on a boat.”

Earlier in the week, Gossip Cop reported that Cyrus had recently split up again with Liam Hemsworth.

Is Lady Gaga now Wife Gaga?

Various outlets are apparently claiming that Gaga and on-again, off-again boyfriend Luc Carl secretly wed in Greece.

According to rumors, Gaga and Carl had a ceremony on Crete as a dry run for a “proper wedding” in the future.

Now major outlets like MTV are helping to drive the story. In an article about the supposed event, the site refers to Gaga as “the bride” and reports that she “wore leather, studs and black lace and major platforms… for her nuptials.”

But it looks like the rumored semi-nuptials is just a bunch of bull-Crete.

A rep for Lady Gaga tells Gossip Cop the marriage reports are “untrue.”

T.J. Lavin has caught pneunomia due to the breathing tube aiding him in his medically induced coma.

Apart from that, however, the BMX rider is coming along well after his crash last week.

“Doctors are not expecting any [brain damage], but we’re just not going to know until he wakes up if there is any loss or how bad it is going to be,” Lavin’s friend and business manager Chas Aday told People.

Doctors are hoping to remove the breathing tube and have the pneumonia treated by the weekend.

Aday says that once the docs remove the tube, “He could be home two, three, maybe four days later… They don’t know. It could be a week. It could be two weeks. It really depends on the antibiotics.”

Overall, adds Aday, the MTV host is “responding well… He’s squeezing our hands, so he’s responding appropriately… He is coherent, but not fully awake. He’s following simple commands.”

BMX athlete Anthony Napolitan, who has been at Lavin’s bedside, is also positive: “He’ll pull through, for sure, and I guarantee you he’ll be back riding on the bike again.”

T.J. Lavin, the BMX star and MTV host, is reportedly showing signs of improvement, though he remains in critical condition and a medically induced coma after crashing in an event on Thursday.

The doctors at University Medical Center in Las Vegas placed Lavin in a coma to slow swelling on the brain.

Now comes word that Lavin’s mother, Barbara, texted her son’s friend Tim “Fuzzy” Hall with the following news of improvement: ”Neuro came and spoke to T.J. He moved his hands around and he gave the docs a thumbs up. He is not conscious. He’s back on sedation to rest and minimize brain swelling.”

The accident occurred at the Dew Tour Championships at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Lavin’s hometown.

Incredibly, Lavin’s friend and colleague Ty Pinney suffered similar injuries, including serious head trauma, in a riding accident on Wednesday.

He reportedly has also been placed into a coma at the same hospital.

Lavin hosts “The Challenge” on MTV and has been a BMX star since his teens.

In addition to his head injuries, he suffered a broken wrist and a shattered eye socket. Lavin’s friend, Chas Aday, has said that reports of a fractured rib cage are not true.
