Miss Wisconsin Laura Kaeppeler is the new Miss America.

The 23-year-old from Kenosha won the pageant and its $50,000 prize on Saturday in Las Vegas.

But before Kaeppeler was crowned Miss America, she first sang opera, strutted her stuff in a white bikini, and gracefully walked across the stage in a black beaded gown.

Former “Miss America” host Gary Collins was arrested yesterday in Biloxi, Mississippi for failing to pay his bill at a restaurant.

Collins allegedly ignored Jazzeppi’s Restaurant employees when they told him he had to settle up for $59.35 in food.

Gary Collins, the former Miss America pageant host and talk show host, has been involved in a hit-and-run that injured a woman and her child, Gossip Cop confirms.

Police in Jackson, Mississippi were called at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday after Collins allegedly struck the woman’s car.

He then fled the scene before police arrived, which is a misdemeanor offense.

The police department is pursuing a warrant for his arrest.
