According to the British tab, earlier this week the singer was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he spent a few hours before returning to his home.

The paper cites a “close family friend” as saying Gibb’s condition is “not good and there is a lot of concern for him.”

Not surprisingly, gossip’s junkyard, Hollyscoop, picked up the story – without bothering to fact-check – and added, “Look out, Madonna! There’s a younger chick in town who is taking your place!” So is Rihanna going to replace Madonna as the new face of Dolce & Gabbana?

According to the tab, Madonna demanded that the party’s organizers “fill her glass with her personal favourite Belvedere vodka, instead of the party-sponsoring Grey Goose brand.” But when she was informed they were only serving Grey Goose, “all hell broke loose.” Really?
