Michael Lohan was arrested on domestic violence charges in Los Angeles last night.

His ex-girlfriend Kate Major filed a police report claiming that an argument with Lohan turned physical.

He was apprehended and booked on felony charges of corporal injury on a cohabitant, false imprisonment and preventing a report of victimization.

Lindsay Lohan was slated to present the Top Ten list on Thursday’s “The Late Show with David Letterman,” according to the show’s head writer Justin Stangel.

Stangel even tweeted, “BREAKING @LindsayLohan will be presenting the Top Ten List on Thursday’s @Late_Show #Letterman.” But Lohan herself tells us she is NOT doing the show.

Lindsay Lohan is claiming a female staffer grabbed her first in the alleged physical incident at the Betty Ford Clinic on December 12, Gossip Cop has learned.

Michael Lohan tells us that his daughter was “ten minutes late for her curfew,” and a female Betty Ford technician “grabbed her” and “got forceful,” to which Lohan responded, “Don’t put your hands on me!” and physically brushed her off.

According to the generally accurate site, Lohan’s roommates had a party at the (Betty Ford) satellite house they’re living in, and “the booze was flowing and the girls got in a heap of trouble.” Seriously?

We’re told the meeting between the formerly estranged father and daughter was “emotional,” and part of the actress’ therapy. Lindsay Lohan was sent back to rehab today after Judge Elden Fox heard her case.

Although the District Attorney recommended that Lohan be sent to jail for six months, Judge Fox ordered rehab instead.
