According to the supermarket tab, Douglas “was recently spotted ordering wine at a swanky seafood restaurant.” For real?

That’s the only explanation for this week’s cover, which shows Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones happy on vacation… with the tagline, “Painful Secret Behind The Smiles.” According to the tabloid, the couple “is hiding” something.

Michael Douglas tells Matt Lauer his tumor is “gone,” and it looks like he’s beaten throat cancer.

In an interview scheduled to air tomorrow on “Today,” the Oscar-winning actor talks about the “wild six-month ride” since his diagnosis, the difficulties of treatment, the role played by his family and friends, his future in movies and more.

“I feel good, relieved. The tumor is gone,” says Douglas. “But, you know, I have to check out on a monthly basis now to maintain.”
