Marie Osmond returned to the stage at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino last night in Las Vegas, just about two weeks after her son Michael Bryan jumped to his death in Los Angeles. “God bless you all, Marie told the audience, adding, “The way Osmonds survive is we keep singing and that’s what we want to do tonight. I know my son would want that.”

According to reports, the autopsy of Michael Blosil is complete, but the cause of his death is still listed as “deferred” until toxicology results are final.

Marie Osmond’s 18-year-old son died on Friday after leaping from his apartment building in downtown Los Angeles. He left behind a note found by his roommates and a neighbor.

Michael Blosil, the 18-year-old son of Marie Osmond who jumped to his death on Friday night in Los Angeles, reportedly left behind a note and alerted a female friend by text.

At around 9:00 PM, Blosil sent his friend, a fellow resident in his downtown apartment building with whom he had plans, a text message telling her he’d left a note in his apartment. His roommates let her into the eighth-floor residence, where together they discovered a note from Blosil discussing “things he would be doing for the very last time” and calling the woman “his only good friend in L.A.”

A representative for Marie Osmond has released a statement on behalf of her client, whose son, Michael Blosil, committed suicide last night.

“My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time.”
