Tina Fey is hoping to make a Mean Girls musical.

The “30 Rock” star, who wrote and acted in the hit 2004 Lindsay Lohan movie, told E! News at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday that she and her husband, music composer Jeff Richmond, might develop the project.

After entering a “no contest” plea in her theft case earlier today, the “Mean Girls” star just released a statement saying, “I am glad to be able to put this past me and move on with my life and my career. I support the judge’s decision and hold myself accountable for being in this situation.”

Lindsay Lohan has rejected a plea deal that includes jail time and has opted to go to trial in her felony grand theft case. Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley says in a statement: “Ms. Lohan has maintained her innocence from the moment this case was filed and she has never wavered. Though many advised her to follow the safe route by taking ‘the deal’, the truth is, Ms. Lohan is innocent.”

We’re told the meeting between the formerly estranged father and daughter was “emotional,” and part of the actress’ therapy.
