“There’s already drama behind the scenes of the highly anticipated flick ‘Thor,’” reports the New York Daily News, which claims Sir Anthony Hopkins is clashing with the film’s title star Chris Hemsworth. According to rumors, Star Trek’s Captain Kirk is “close to signing” to become that other “Captain” (aka Steve Rogers) for Marvel’s planned 2011 film, The First Avenger: Captain America.

Spidey is going the Avatar route.

Sony plans to release its new Spider-Man movie on July 3, 2012 – in 3D.

As reported earlier, Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi, the star and director of the last three movies in the series, have been jettisoned. The studio plans to “reboot” the series with the next installment.
