Leave it to the National Enquirer to take a happy story and twist it into a “nightmare” – to use their word.
According to the tab, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s long-awaited baby news is “ripping them apart.”
One of the Enquirer’s so-called sources claims, “Mariah is driving Nick crazy with her out-of-control mood swings and weird food cravings.” Adds the source, “Mariah thinks nothing of waking Nick at 4 a.m. to have him race out to buy medications, ranch-flavored potato chips and Tootsie Rolls.” Really?

Mariah Carey has just confirmed on the “Today Show” that she’s going to be a mommy. “Yes, we are pregnant,” said Carey. The singer revealed she’s “expecting in the spring.” This is the first child for Carey and her husband Nick Cannon.

Back in October, renowned physician Perez Hilton declared Mariah Carey pregnant and told her not to “deny it!”
There was nothing to deny. She wasn’t pregnant.

A few days later, Perez was back at it, saying Carey looked “totally preggers” at a concert.

We’re not quite sure what he saw, because (surprise!) she still wasn’t pregnant.

Perez took off several months, apparently hoping no one would remember his earlier predictions, and today tries once again.
