Jennifer Lopez reveals she had abusive relationships in her upcoming book, True Love. As Gossip Cop previously reported, the project was announced in May as the story of how Lopez “confronted her greatest challenges, identified her biggest fears, and ultimately emerged a stronger person than she’s ever been.”
While True Love won’t be released until November 4, excerpts indicate just how intimate Lopez gets. She writes, “I’ve never gotten a black eye or busted lip, but I have been in relationships where I felt abused one way or another: mentally, emotionally, verbally.”

Marc Anthony is coming to the aid of an orphanage in the Dominican Republic.
The Maestro Cares Foundation, which the singer co-founded earlier this year, will help provide a new residence hall, baseball field and learning center for more than 150 kids at the Children of Christ orphanage in the town of La Romana.
