UPDATE: 2:47 a.m. – Lindsay Lohan is free. The actress, who posted the $300,000 bail, just left the Lynwood Correctional Facility. Earlier, an appeals court reversed Judge Elden Fox’s decision to deny the star bail, determining that it violated California law, which gives misdemeanor defendants the right to post bail.

According to a report, Lindsay Lohan’s 90-day stint in rehab will be to treat an addiction to methamphetamine and bipolar disorder.

Methamphetamine – also known as meth and crystal meth – as well as opiates are Lohan’s “drugs of choice,” says a source. But a source close to Lohan tells Gossip Cop an entirely different story.

Lindsay Lohan got a visit on Thursday from lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who is not “exactly sure” when her client will be leaving jail but said she’s “fine, she’s good.”

UPDATE – 7:00 PM -

Lindsay Lohan will serve only about 14 days of her 90-day jail sentence, provided she behaves herself.

“She is scheduled to be released on either August 1 or 2 for overcrowding issues and good behavior,” confirms Steve Whitmore of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department.

It is standard procedure to release nonviolent misdemeanor offenders early in the L.A. County jail system given its facilities’ problems with overcrowding.
