Several media outlets are claiming that party planners are upset with “Gossip Girl” star Jessica Szohr for bailing on an event in Chicago, where she was flown for an all-expenses paid weekend during the Lollapalooza festival.

According to reports, in exchange for the freebie weekend, all Szohr had to do was show up to a Belvedere Nights party. She’s now being attacked for not attending the event in favor of spending some alone time with on-and-off beau Ed Westwick. But Gossip Cop has exclusively obtained the e-mail inviting Szohr to Chicago, and it does not request that she attend any events whatsoever.
