Lindsay Lohan and her dad Michael had a face-to-face yesterday at the Betty Ford Center, a source close to the situation confirms to Gossip Cop. We’re told the meeting between the formerly estranged father and daughter was “emotional,” and part of the actress’ therapy. For months, when talk turned to possibly meeting up with her dad, Lohan was adamant, and would tell Gossip Cop, “No, not meeting with him.” What do you think of Michael and Lindsay’s reunion?

Finally, something Dina and Michael Lohan can agree on.

Lindsay Lohan was sent back to rehab today after Judge Elden Fox heard her case.

Although the District Attorney recommended that Lohan be sent to jail for six months, Judge Fox ordered rehab instead.

Lindsay Lohan has to stay in rehab until January 3, a court has ruled in today’s probation violation hearing.

Judge Elden Fox is NOT throwing her in jail.

He is reportedly impressed by her progress but feels that Lohan is an addict.

She nodded at his pronouncement.

“You’re staying past the New Year’s,” said Fox. “There’s a reason for that.”

Judge Fox rejected the district attorney’s desire to send the actress to jail for six months. He reviewed filings from both rehab and probation officials, as well as a letter from Lohan herself.

She cried in relief when the decision was made.

Contrary to false reports about Lindsay Lohan trying to “escape” from rehab, the truth is Gossip Cop hears she’s taking her time at the Betty Ford Center very seriously.

A source tells us she wakes up every morning at 5:30 a.m., hits the gym, and attends group and individual sessions all day, followed by AA meetings at night. And there’s much more.

Lindsay Lohan allegations always seem to be bubbling up, but a widespread rumor that she attempted to break out of rehab for a caffeinated soda just fizzles.

A report emerged on Wednesday claiming that Lohan “was caught trying to escape” from the Betty Ford Center, where she’s currently in rehabilitation.

“In a tale so bizarre it is almost unbelievable,” the starlet supposedly tried to “flee” the center’s grounds to buy a beverage at a nearby building’s vending machine, but her fellow patient accomplice’s clothing “got caught on the fence.”

On the heels of the news that Lindsay Lohan is preparing to head to rehab, she tweeted for the first time since being released from jail on bail.

And the actress has already given a glimpse into her desire to improve herself. She tweeted about volunteering at L.A.’s The Dream Center, a non-profit outreach center that provides food, shelter, clothing, and various types of training to the disadvantaged.
