Linda Evangelista and her billionaire ex-boyfriend Francois-Henri Pinault, who’s now married to Salma Hayek, have settled their acrimonious child support battle – right on the verge of her offering potentially embarrassing testimony in court.

The former couple has a 5-year-old son, Augustin James, for whom the supermodel claimed she needed $46,000-a-month in child support.

But right on the eve of Evangelista returning to family court in New York, it’s been revealed the two have settled.

Salma Hayek likes being rich.

“I never understood the point of being privileged if you don’t get to have the privileges,” the actress tells the September issue of Allure.

“Like, people who won’t take their kids to an expensive restaurant, or won’t travel with them, or make them pay for everything at a really young age,” she explains. “I think it’s important that kids have responsibilities and understand the value of things, but I think it’s great I get to travel the world with my daughter.”

Linda Evangelista is demanding that billionaire ex Francois-Henri Pinault, now married to Salma Hayek, pay her $46,000 in monthly child support.

The former couple has a 4-year-old son, Augustin James, whom Pinault has not financially aided at all since birth.

It’s believed that her $46,000-per-month request is the largest in the history of Manhattan’s Family Court.

Salma Hayek’s billionaire husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, has been revealed as the mysterious father of supermodel Linda Evangelista’s four-year-old son Augustin James.

Yesterday, after Evangelista went to a New York court to work out a support agreement, it emerged that Pinault, whose company owns a number of luxury brands, including Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Yves Saint Laurent, is the little boy’s dad.

Pinault has two children from a previous marriage and a four-year-old daughter, Valentina, with Hayek, who he married in Paris on Valentine’s Day in 2009.
