A conservative watchdog group is slamming Miley Cyrus for what it calls “crude” and “disgusting” behavior, saying it “exemplifies sleaze” in Hollywood.

On Thursday, the Culture and Media Institute (CMI) issued an article called “Hollywood Promoting Women Behaving Badly,” in which it suggests that the onetime Hannah Montana star “has become the epitome of the anti-role model for young girls.”

Referencing Cyrus’ jokes about being a “stoner” and photos of the star celebrating her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth’s birthday with a penis-shaped cake, CMI describes Cyrus as “embracing the raunch” popularized by popular culture.

The group also criticizes Bachelorette, a racy film comedy – starring Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan and Isla Fisher – that just premiered at Sundance.

“Movies like Bachelorette and disgusting behavior like Cyrus’ may be part of the ‘real world’ of Hollywood, where casual sex is celebrated and frequent divorce is almost a rite of passage,” declares CMI. “But it is not the real world, because in the real world, sleazy behavior has consequences.”

Wow.

Liam Hemsworth has been cast in Timeless, it was announced on Wednesday.

In the movie, a young man whose wife has died attempts to go back in time to reunite with her.

Hemsworth had long been rumored for the role, and it’s now official.

He will next be on screen in the upcoming blockbuster-to-be The Hunger Games.

Hemsworth, of course, dates Miley Cyrus, with whom he starred in 2010′s The Last Song.

“It was hard not to notice Miley Cyrus’ pared-down physique at the January 11 People’s Choice Awards,” begins a piece from In Touch, which goes on to claim that the teenage star spent big bucks to get slim.

According to a so-called “pal” of the singer, Cyrus “enlisted the help of a nutritionist, chef and her old personal trainer, Harley Pasternak, to whip herself into bikini-ready shape ahead of her recent Hawaiian getaway with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.”

This supposed friend claims, “Miley probably spent $50,000 to lose 15 pounds in a few weeks,” adding, “She didn’t care what it cost as long as she looked good!”

And In Touch didn’t care how inaccurate its outlandish claim was – as long as it made for a juicy story.

A rep for Cyrus tells Gossip Cop the report she paid $50,000 to lose weight is “not true at all.”

The singer got her boyfriend a brand new dog, named Ziggy Bigs, for his 22nd birthday on Friday.

Cyrus shared a photo of the adorable pup on Twitter, telling followers the dog is “an angel” and “loves her bro & sis,” Cyrus’ own dogs Floyd and Willow.

She went all out for Hemsworth’s big day, even getting her fans to make “Happy Birthday Liam” a trending topic on the social networking site.

Miley Cyrus is not afraid to stand up for herself.

The teen singer, who has told overzealous paparazzi to back off more than once in the past, set a rude fan straight while recently vacationing in Costa Rica.

Cyrus and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth were on their way to board a small helicopter when she was approached by a gaggle of young fans, with whom she graciously stopped to pose for photos and sign autographs.

But when Cyrus and Hemsworth politely told the group they had to get going, one cheeky girl screamed at them, “A**hole!”

Cyrus was visibly stunned, and shot back at the fan, “What the f**k? Are you for real?”

Soon after, the singer posed with other (more polite) fans before taking off.

After the clip surfaced, Cyrus took to Twitter to explain she “would NEVER swear to a fan.”

But, she added, “when someone yells something SO rude making ME look like an ‘a**hole’ infront of fans who I am more than happy 2 take a picture w/ i cant tolerate that kind of rudeness.”

Cyrus said the girl in question “obviously wasnt a fan” and “Every1 who was there apologized 4 the womans brusque behavior.”

At Sunday’s “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute” in Los Angeles, Miley Cyrus took the stage not just to give thanks to awe-inspiring individuals but to encourage others to follow in their footsteps.

Shortly before Robin Lim was named “Hero of the Year” for her work providing medical care to women in Indonesia, the pop star performed a stirring rendition of her hit “The Climb.”

The song’s empowering message made it a fitting choice for the sentimental evening.

Miley Cyrus celebrated Thanksgiving with her family and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth on Thursday, and her mom Tish tweeted a photo (below) of the whole crew filling their plates.

From left to right, the picture shows Billy Ray Cyrus, Hemsworth, Braison Cyrus, Noah Cyrus, Trace Cyrus, family friend Britt, Brenda Song, Brandi Cyrus and Miley.

Being together for the holiday was undoubtedly very special for the family, considering last year at this time Tish and Billy Ray were separated and planning to divorce.

Now, the parents are happily reconciled, their son Trace is engaged to Song, and Miley and Hemsworth appear to be better than ever.

Tish tweeted, “Had such an amazing Thanksgiving day with Family and friends… Feeling so beyond blessed right now!”

The full trailer for The Hunger Games premiered on Monday’s “Good Morning America.”

A short preview for the movie debuted last August, but this is the first real look at the highly anticipated film adaptation of the bestselling book.

It hits theaters in March 2012 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

The first official movie poster for The Hunger Games has been released, and it’s a sure indication that the onscreen adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novel will be on fire.

The “motion poster” (see below) features the heroine Katniss Everdeen‘s mockingjay pin enveloped in flames, symbolizing her nickname for the Games as “The girl who was on fire.”

On top is the Capitol’s haunting slogan for the annual fight-to-the-death competition: “MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR.”

The highly anticipated movie, out March 23, 2012, stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne.

Will on-again sweethearts Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth soon tie the knot?

Star magazine “has learned” the couple are now “so devoted to each other,” insiders are “hearing wedding bells.”

According to the tabloid, that explains why Cyrus and Hemsworth made sure their parents hung out together when she toured in his home country of Australia.

Star mentions how Cyrus arranged for the Hemsworths to get VIP treatment at her June 23 show in Melbourne and later flew mom Tish Cyrus to the Hemsworths’ holiday home on Phililp Island.

“They’re hanging out like one big happy family,” a so-called “insider” tells the tabloid. “Everyone wonders when Miley and Liam will take the next step and get engaged.”

Well, it won’t be in the near future, and if Star‘s insiders heard wedding bells, they should probably check in with a doctor.

A rep for Hemsworth tells Gossip Cop it’s a “false story” and “not true.”

“THOR WARS,” reads a nicely rhymed headline from the National Enquirer, which claims Liam Hemsworth is furious with his older brother Chris for beating him out for the title role in the superhero flick.

The tab notes that both Hemsworths initially auditioned for the lead in Thor, and the fact that Liam lost out on the gig to his brother has supposedly resulted in a “glacier-size rift” between them.

A so-called “insider” explains that the film’s box office success has torn the brothers even further apart, saying, “Chris and Liam used to be best friends, but they’re barely speaking lately.”

The younger Hemsworth allegedly went so far as to accuse his brother of being a “backstabbing traitor.”

Seriously?

Miley Cyrus is a teenager, but it’s HollywoodLife that needs to grow up.

The site has a habit of throwing Cyrus’ name into untrue rumors whenever the mood strikes. Just in the past six months, HollywoodLife claimed she and Liam Hemsworth were living together (nope), that she was going after Douglas Booth and Avan Jogia (two more wrong guesses), and that she was rude to fans during Justin Bieber‘s movie premiere (despite evidence to the contrary).

But all of that “reporting” was merely a warm-up for HollywoodLife’s apparent new role – as Cyrus’ mom.

According to the site, the star’s “out of control ways” were on display when she partied in the wee hours of the morning at the Chateau Marmont over the weekend.

“While Miley is certainly allowed to enjoy a night out, especially given how hard she works, what teenager is allowed to stay out so late?” scolds HollywoodLife, adding, “Most teens have to be home by midnight.”

Um, we didn’t realize HollywoodLife was in charge of everyone’s curfew.

Also, let’s stop bundling Cyrus with “most teens.”

“Most teens” don’t have paparazzi following them at all hours, bumping into their actual moms, and snapping a million photographs, any one of which a lazy site like HollywoodLife can turn into this type of accusatory story.

HollywoodLife also pretends to be offended by Cyrus’ “barely there jean shorts and tights,” which, combined with her looking tired, leads the blog to wonder, ”Was she on a Salvia bender again?”

Back in December, of course, Cyrus was taped smoking the legal substance.

So now, whenever legal adult Cyrus stays up past midnight and has the bad luck to be photographed with her eyes closed, it’s a sign that she’s in trouble?

We hope Cyrus remembers to ask for HollywoodLife’s permission the next time she goes out with friends.

Miley Cyrus smoked a bong at a party in Los Angeles shortly after her 18th birthday, and now video has surfaced.

In the clip, Cyrus is seen taking a hit with a group of unidentified friends. According to TMZ, the substance is salvia, a natural herb psychedelic.

Salvia – it’s important to note – is legal in California and most other states, and can even be bought online.

Cyrus giggles (a lot) and chats with the friend filming her (who tells Cyrus she’s “gonna document the s**t outta this right now”). At one point, Cyrus claims someone off camera resembles her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and then wonders whether the bong hit caused the confusion.

While Miley Cyrus isn’t saying exactly where she’ll be ringing in her 18^th birthday on November 23, she did say what she’s wishing for – her family to “be together.”

“I’m not going to go crazy; [just] have a fun party and then maybe take a vacation with my family… I think we need time to all be together,” says Cyrus, whose parents Billy Ray and Tish recently announced they were filing for divorce.

Cyrus went on to tell MTV News it “would be rad if we could all go to the beach or something… somewhere near water. I’m a water baby; I have to be near the water and I love doing scuba and going out and being on a boat.”

The pair quickly reconciled.

HollywoodLife has had trouble distinguishing movies from reality before, so it’s not a total surprise when the site implies that a movie romance must also be happening off screen.

That’s the notion behind the outlet’s latest daydream: Miley Cyrus only reunited with Liam Hemsworth because her LOL co-star Douglas Booth stayed loyal to his girlfriend.

Over the summer, “sources” told HollywoodLife that Cyrus split with Hemsworth “because she was crushing” on Booth.

“But as soon as the movie wrapped on Sept. 7, the Hannah Montana starlet ran back into Liam’s waiting arms,” observes the site.

“Coincidence? We think not,” says HollywoodLife.

Um, actually, we think yes.

Rather than looking at events and offering the (perfectly reasonable) explanation that Cyrus and Hemsworth paired up again after LOL because they could spend more time together and had resolved their differences, HollywoodLife thinks it just means Cyrus failed to break up her co-star’s relationship.

“Although Miley and Liam are solid right now — they’re even living together,” concludes the site, “We can’t wait to see what happens with this love triangle resumes at LOL promotion time!”

A few points.

First, Cyrus and Hemsworth are not living together. Apparently, HollywoodLife not only missed Gossip Cop‘s bust of that rumor, but also video of Cyrus herself debunking it.

Second, there is no “love triangle.” There are two happy relationships — the one between Cyrus and Hemsworth, and the one between Booth and his girlfriend.

Finally, trying to start a controversy for all three stars after acknowledging how “solid” Cyrus and Hemsworth are at the moment is just plain lame.

In other words, HollywoodLife is doing what it does best.

“Miley Breaks Justin’s Heart” screams a headline in the National Enquirer about Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber.

“These are the pictures that broke Justin Bieber’s heart,” begins the piece, which showcases the widely-seen paparazzi shots of Cyrus in her car kissing Liam Hemsworth, with whom she recently reconciled.

And just why did the pictures leave Bieber, as the tab claims, “shattered”?

“Justin truly believed that he could win Miley. He feels women all over the world of every age want him, so why not Miley?” a so-called source tells the Enquirer.

And not only that, but the source further alleges that “Justin thought he was in love with Miley. Seeing her happy again with Liam is tearing him up. He’s devastated.”

Really?

Looks like the Enquirer didn’t see some other photos.

You know, the ones of Bieber and Jasmine Villegas getting a little, um, close in the back of a car.

Perez Hilton is definitely three things — late, crude, and wrong.

“Living In Sin! MileyBird Is Sharing Her Nest With Liam!” reads the headline of a post by the bad blogger about Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.

He then snarkily scribbles, “We wouldn’t expect anything less from our skanky little MileyBird!”

According to Perez’s inaccurate story, a so-called “source” reveals, “Liam has been staying with Miley. They’re attempting to make their relationship work without the madness of the paparazzi, so they’re picking and choosing the moments to be photographed in public.”

Sound familiar?

It should. Perez picked up the same story – even the same quotes – from the equally unreliable HollywoodLife.

Addressing the singer’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, Perez then mocks, “Letting your 17 year old live in sin with her boyfriend?!” before inappropriately adding, “Who wants to take bets that Liam will knock her up before she turns 18??”

In addition to Perez’s piece being old and crass, it’s 100 PERCENT WRONG.

As Cyrus’ rep exclusively told Gossip Cop,“They don’t live together.”

And, as a Hemsworth insider also noted, while the two are back together, he has his own home.
