The New York Post is reporting that while out of Bar Refaeli‘s sight, “Leonardo DiCaprio flirted with a string of pretty blondes” at a pre-Oscar party at the Chateau Marmont two days ago.

According to a New York Post source, “Leo was surrounded by a gaggle of girls all night,” and at around 3 a.m. he left the party with a male friend, “followed by three girls.”

Picking up the item, reliably unreliable HollywoodLife takes it a step further, declaring, “If he wasn’t split with Bar before that, he probably is now!”

Nope.

While it’s true DiCaprio attracted the attention of a number of young ladies at the party, a friend of DiCaprio assures Gossip Cop the “Shutter Island” star “left with his buddy… not girls,” and is still with Refaeli.

Good boy.

We would say if this blogging thing doesn’t work out for Perez Hilton, he can try his hand at matchmaking… but he’s really not too good at that either.

Perez, who is none too fond of Gossip Cop and our habit of fact-checking, has desperately tried to link Lindsay Lohan to Leonardo DiCaprio.

A little more than a month ago, Perez tried to claim that Lohan was busted leaving DiCaprio’s home late at night when, in reality, she was one of 20 or so FRIENDS at a party in his Hollywood Hills home.

And today, Perez took a sighting of the two of them going to an L.A. party, hosted by San Francisco Giants pitcher Brian Wilson, as another telltale sign. He even questioned, “Could Lilo be loving Leo?”

Since Perez never seems to have the answers, we thought we’d help him out.

No.

In fact, when we informed Lohan about Perez’s latest misfire, she told Gossip Cop, ”Hahahaha. You couldn’t be more wrong, Perezy.”

Not only is Perez Hilton so afraid of Gossip Cop that he’s blocked us on Twitter, but he’s also still afraid to fact-check. Today, the “Cop Blocker” posted a ridiculous item trying to link Lindsay Lohan to Leonardo DiCaprio.

Basically, Hilton insinuated that they have something going on. He scribbled, Lohan “wasn’t able to go unnoticed when she dropped by Leonard DiCaprio’s El Lay home on Saturday night… Wait, what????” And then, after incorrectly stating that the two had a “flirtation back in April,” he rudely wrote, “Don’t do it, Leo!”

Since Gossip Cop always checks facts, we found out that DiCaprio – who turns 35 on Wednesday – had a small party at his home last night for approximately 20 friends, including Lohan. That’s it. No Lindsay-Leo alone time. Nothing scandalous.
