Khloe Kardashian is striking back against the transgender woman who is suing the reality star for assault.

Chantal Spears (also known as Ronald Spears) alleged in a lawsuit filed in December that Kardashian caused her significant injuries after an altercation outside Playhouse nightclub in 2009.

In the court papers, Spears claimed Kardashian “pushed” and “hit” her, though no arrests or citations were made.

Now in her own filing, Kardashian says her behavior “was reasonably necessary for her self-defense and safety,” according to TMZ.

The incident reportedly occurred after Spears approached Kardashian’s husband, Lamar Odom, telling him he was “too young to be married.”

Spears is suing Kardashian for damages.

It is not yet known whether the case will go to trial.

Kim Kardashian co-hosted “Live! with Kelly” on Monday, and argued that her brief marriage to Kris Humphries was not a sham.

The reality star explained, “If you really think about it, if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV – I’m a smart business woman — I would have stayed married longer.”

“This was a bad business decision,” she joked, referring to the massive criticism she’s received since announcing her divorce from Humphries, adding, “I really didn’t think that following my heart would create this much backlash.”

Kardashian continued, “Me being such a hopeless romantic, I wanted to believe in something so badly,” noting, “Khloe and Lamar got married after knowing each other for a month and they’re going on three years. My mom and Bruce after five months got married and they just celebrated their 20th anniversary.”

“I fell in love and thought it could work just like the examples that I saw,” she admitted.

As for how she’s been coping since the split, Kardashian said, “It’s been a hard couple of months. I moved in with my mom — half the time with my mom and half with Kourtney… I really did some soul searching.”

“Khloé Kardashian Odom is already a doting aunt. And now she’s ready to be a doting mom,” begins a piece on E! Online.

According to the site, the reality star has started seeing a fertility doctor in Dallas in hopes of getting pregnant.

Kardashian, who has shot down a slew of fake pregnancy reports in recent years, is supposedly “trying very hard” and “actively working” with the specialist on turning her dreams of motherhood into a reality.

But while it’s true Kardashian has her hopes set on someday being a mom, she is NOT seeing a fertility doctor.

She tweeted about the matter on Tuesday.

“Because there seems to be much speculation, here is my statement… I am not at this time in my life considering any type of fertility treatments. If and when I do, I will shout it from the rooftops but for now its in Gods hands,” wrote Kardashian.

Bruce Jenner had surgery to remove a cancerous growth on his face last week.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” dad’s operation, which took place on Friday, went well by all accounts.

He joined his wife, Kris Jenner, at Monday’s Lakers game in Los Angeles, where Khloe Kardashian’s hubby, Lamar Odom, was given a standing ovation.

TMZ was the first to report the news about the growth removal after observers noticed stitches on Jenner’s face at the game.

Lamar Odom, traded before the NBA season from the Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, made his return to Los Angeles on Monday – and received a standing ovation.

Fans including Jack Nicholson stood and applauded Odom as he entered the game at Staples Center, where he formerly helped the home team win two league titles.

Kris Humphries has a job again.

The NBA player, estranged Kim Kardashian husband and cookie enthusiast has singed a one-year contract with the New Jersey Nets.

Nets General Manager Billy King said in a statement Wednesday, “Kris had a breakout season last year, and established himself as one of the premier rebounders in the league.”

“We look forward to his continued progress and his addition will certainly add stability to our frontcourt rotation.”

Humphries, a power forward, played for the Nets during the 2010-11 season.

The contract is worth between $7-8 million.

Khloe Kardashian’s husband, Lamar Odom, was traded this month from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, where he’ll look “handsome” and drink for free.

Khloe Kardashian flew to Dallas this weekend to go house hunting with Lamar Odom, and received a warm welcome from a local sports bar.

The establishment put a massive banner outside that reads, “Big Al’s Mckinney Avenue Tavern Welcomes Khloe & Lamar to Dallas,” with the subheading, “Kardashians Drink FREE… Especially Rob.”

Kardashian posed for a photo with the bar’s owner, Big Al Mack, during her visit.

The tavern is also honoring the couple by putting on a special Kardashian-themed week, featuring drink specials named after members of the family.

Khloe has remained positive in the wake of her husband’s trade from the L.A. Lakers, saying she’s “excited” about the move, having “heard only great things” about Dallas.

Kim Kardashian may have said she was donating her wedding gifts to charity in the wake of her divorce, but according to In Touch, she simply traded in the presents in exchange for some “nice loot.”

The mag alleges Kardashian “cashed in some of her presents at a Hollywood luxury boutique — and bought her family Rolexes with the proceeds!”

Wow.

Supposed “insiders” for the tabloid claim this may have been the reality star’s plan all along, noting, “Kim had never had the gifts delivered. The store was still waiting for her to give them an address.”

So, the week after Kardashian filed for divorce, “She went in to the store and told them she didn’t want the stuff after all,” says one so-called “source,” adding, “She had them just give her store credit for everything.”

Kardashian allegedly “bought a slew of luxe watches” with the credit, including a “pave diamond and shell dial Rolex for sister Kourtney.”

“Her brother, Rob, brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, sister Khloe and mother, Kris, have also been spotted rocking conspicuously high-end watches as well in recent weeks,” evidences In Touch.

So, did she also buy baby Mason his first Rolex with her wedding guests’ cash? And did Bruce get some new stud earrings?

No.

Kardashian donated the money from her wedding gifts to the Dream Foundation, as she promised to do from the beginning.

An impeccable family source tells Gossip Cop the story is “ridiculous and not true.”

Khloe Kardashian, who went from “sad” to “excited” about Lamar Odom being traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, is now loving it.

Khloe, dubbed by Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle as his “favorite Kardashian,” tweeted a photo (below) on Tuesday of her husband wearing his new jersey, along with the comment, “Soooo handsome!!!!!”

Still, Kardashian has yet to join Odom in the Lone Star state, but has noted, “As soon as I pack our house up ill be there.”

Lamar Odom, who was traded over the weekend to the world champion Dallas Mavericks, is already in Texas at a training camp, and his wife Khloe Kardashian is not far behind.

The reality star, who said she would be “happy anywhere as long as I am with my family,” tweeted on Monday that she’s “missing him already,” and “as soon as I pack our house up ill be there.”

Kardashian even said she’s now “excited” about the move, having “heard only great things” about Dallas.

And the Mavericks are excited about her arrival.

The team’s coach Rick Carlisle gushed, “I will say this: Khloe’s my favorite Kardashian. She’s the coolest.”

Team owner Mark Cuban also welcomed Kardashian with open arms.

“Mark Cuban is making me feel at home already and I haven’t even gone to Dallas yet :) thank you!!!!” she later tweeted.

Still, Kardashian acknowledged earlier that she’ll be “back and forth” between the Lone Star state and Los Angeles.

Perhaps those happiest about the trade are freelance cameramen in Dallas, who undoubtedly are in contact already with E!

Kobe Bryant is defending Lamar Odom in the wake of his trade from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, blasting speculation his teammate was traded due to his involvement in the Kardashians’ reality TV empire.

The NBA star told reporters, ”I don’t understand the criticism of [the] reality shows… He had his best season last year. It clearly wasn’t a distraction.”

Bryant added, “He played his a** off. I don’t get where that [criticism] comes from.”

“You’re talking about Sixth Man of the Year last year,” he stressed.

Bryant, who was open about his displeasure with the trade, said, “I don’t like it… I’ve known Lamar for a long time, and for the team itself, he’s meant a lot in terms of his versatility, his personality. He’s a big presence for us in the locker room, just from a team chemistry standpoint.”

Odom is already off to Dallas for training, and his wife Khloe Kardashian will join him there after she finishes packing up their home in L.A.

Lamar Odom is headed to Texas.

A couple of days after the NBA nixed a deal to send Khloe Kardashian’s husband to New Orleans for Chris Paul, the one-time Los Angeles Laker will now be suiting up for the World Champion Dallas Mavericks.

Lamar has not said a word on Twitter since it seemed he would remain in Los Angeles, but Kardashian tweeted early this morning, “I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family!”

Still, she tweeted to a follower later: “we are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative.”

In exchange for Odom, the Lakers will get the Mavericks’ first 2012 draft choice.

The world held its breath last night as Lamar Odom‘s future hung in the balance.

Ultimately, the Los Angeles Lakers did not trade Mr. Khloe Kardashian to New Orleans as part of a deal for Chris Paul.

Both Odom and Kardashian dealt with the roller coaster as his name (and nickname “Lam Lam”) trended for hours on Twitter.

When news first broke that the NBA had nixed the trade, Kardashian retweeted a follower’s message: “Its been confirmed, the deal is off. I pray @RealLamarOdom stays a Laker. Its messed up how they tried to trade him though, hes a beast!!”

Kardashian herself wrote, “I love you Lamar!!!!! There’s NO one like you! I’m so proud to be your wife :)”

When someone suggested she was “scared” about going to New Orleans, she replied, “Not at all! I would go anywhere with my hubby!”

She added, “I ride or die for my Lam! Its where I go… Its who I am with :)… I can survive anywhere… People are acting cray! LOL New Orleans is a great place. As long as I’m with Lam I’m good #bible.”

Meanwhile, Odom was dealing with the night’s confusion on his own Twitter account.

“When a team trades u and it doesn’t go down? Now what?” he wrote.

Later, he tweeted, “I want 2 shout out 2 every1 who shows love! I 4 got there was so many haters! I open the door and b4 I can even wipe my feet on the doormat.”

Odom added, “Im just going 2 stay positive and say thank u! The positive energy is what I live for and the negative energy I will just continue 2 eat!”

The NBA commissioner has reportedly nixed a deal that would have traded Los Angeles Lakers player Lamar Odom to the New Orleans Hornets.

The deal came under fire from various owners in the league who objected to the arrangement, which would have sent Chris Paul to the Lakers.

“When a team trades u and it doesn’t go down?” Odom tweeted after the agreement fell apart. “Now what?”

The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly agreed to trade Lamar Odom as part of a deal for superstar point guard Chris Paul.

Odom, of course, is Khloe Kardashian‘s husband and a part of the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality television universe.

No deal has been finalized yet, although multiple outlets are reporting that the basic terms for a trade are in place.

As the lone NBA player still connected to the Kardashian clan following Kris Humphries‘ dismissal, Odom’s potential journey to another city will undoubtedly become a storyline in the Kardashian narrative.

Kendall Jenner got a set of sweet wheels at her Sweet 16 party on Saturday.

Last night, the Kardashian-Jenner clan had a dinner and party with Kendall’s friends at the Andaz Hotel to celebrate Kendall’s big birthday.

At one point, the teen was surprised outside the party, where a brand new black Range Rover was parked with a red ribbon on it.

She then hopped into the driver’s seat, and checked out her new wheels as her friends looked on.

“I love you mommy and daddy!” a grateful Kendall later tweeted.

Big sister Kim added, “It was the perfect nite! [Kendall] will never 4get it!”

Earlier in evening, Kourtney tweeted, “time to get our party on with a bunch of 16 year olds!”

A more enthusiastic Kendall noted how she had a great time, and even thanked DJ Babey Drew who provided the music. “You are amazing! #greatDJ #sweet16,” she exclaimed.

Also as the party were Kris and Bruce Jenner, Scott Disick, Rob Kardashian, Khloe and Lamar Odom.

Of course, for those who missed it, all the fun was caught on tape and will be featured on an E! special.

Even the Kardashians themselves loved the “Saturday Night Live” parody of Kim Kardashian’s divorce from Kris Humphries.

On Saturday, the show aired a mock E! special that teased, “Get ready for the latest Kardashian event — ‘Kim’s Fairytale Divorce.’”

At one point, Kim is flanked by sisters Khloe and Kourtney as she describes how she’s been handling the rough time. “All week we’ve been just crying and crying and posing and crying and getting our anuses bleached.”

The sketch also skewered momager Kris Jenner, her husband Bruce Jenner, and Lamar Odom.

One would think the Kardashians wouldn’t find anything related to Kim’s divorce funny, but both Khloe and Kourtney tweeted about how hysterical it was.

Khloe wrote, “Ha! I just saw the SNL skit they did and I could not stop laughing…. LOL.”

When a fan was surprised she wasn’t offended, Khloe tweeted in response, “Its SNL… They r supposed 2make fun Its not who we are&I know that.”

Kourtney particularly liked the depiction of her mom. She noted, “I peed! The @KrisJenner was classic.”

Even the family’s matriarch liked the “SNL” video in which she was a main target.

On a morning show, Kris Jenner called it “one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life,” adding, “I tell my kids don’t take yourself too seriously and always have a good sense of humor. We’re laughing right along with them.”

Kim Kardashian used a decoy to distract media and fans as she escaped Australia for Los Angeles on Friday.

A fake Kardashian, complete with an assortment of bodyguards and other “entourage” members, pulled up to the airport in Sydney and drew the attention of photographers and passengers in the terminal, according to local reports.

The security personnel are said to have formed a ring around the “Kardashian” double as she made her way through the crowd.

But the real Kim and Khloe Kardashian reportedly had arrived shortly beforehand, using the loading dock to make an under-the-radar departure as the decoy siphoned all the attention.

Earlier this week, their Australian arrival was met with paparazzi chaos at the airport, with the sisters (and Khloe’s husband, Lamar Odom) coming Down Under shortly after news broke of Kim’s divorce from Kris Humphries.

They were in the country to promote their Kardashian Kollection handbags.

After initially promising to keep her business commitments, Kim bailed on weekend appearances and opted to head home to deal with the mushrooming Humphries fallout.

Kris Humphries has a long road ahead of him, according to Us Weekly.

According to the magazine, the NBA star’s “rocky entry” into the Kardashian family hasn’t been smoothed by his marriage to Kim, with her fiercely protective sisters expressing their doubts about their new brother-in-law.

“Their skepticism about him is freaking her out,” a so-called “family source” tells the magazine.

Oh no!

And what is causing all this trouble?

Us Weekly points to a few factors, including Humphries’ “penchant for roughhousing” on last April’s family vacation to Bora Bora. “It irks the girls that he’s always tossing Kim around,” says the tab source. “He’s like this weird, big, clumsy oaf.”

Even worse, Humphries is allegedly coming between Khloe and Kourtney and mom Kris Jenner.

“Kris J. is so focused on Kim and Kris, their marriage and business and media, it’s alienated the other girls,” says an Us Weekly source.

What’s more, argues the “family insider,” Humphries has made the mistake of actually embracing the spotlight. “He seems to be milking his newfound fame. Kourtney thinks it’s ridiculous, and it’s really pissing Khloe off.”

In other words, according to Us Weekly, the Kardashian sisters hate Kris Humphries because he’s a clumsy oaf who is siphoning attention from their mom and the press.

Uh-huh.

Here’s what’s actually going on.

Magazines know that the Kardashians sell, especially when there’s “controversy.” So now Humphries is being made to look like he’s causing a rift, just like Lamar Odom and Scott Disick before him.

Unfortunately for Us Weekly, that simply isn’t the case.

“It’s ridiculous,” a source close to the family tells Gossip Cop. “Absolutely not true. The girls are happy to have him as part of the family.”

Kim Kardashian has “crying fits nearly every day” while preparing for her wedding to Kris Humphries, claims Star magazine.

Supposedly, the TV star/entrepreneur is “suffering from a case of separation anxiety,” fearing that she’ll no longer be around mom Kris Jenner or her famous sisters after she gets married.

“Taking the plunge means spending a lot less time with her family,” explains a so-called “insider” for the tabloid. “She really relies on [Jenner's] advice – she guides Kim in almost every aspect of daily living, including who to befriend or who not to be seen with.”

Uh, the only “separation” here is between Star and reality.

Just like Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom, Kim Kardashian and Humphries will stay tight with the rest of the closely-knit family, on-camera and off.

Kardashian might miss some aspects of her old life – as would anyone – but she hasn’t turned into a “blubbering bride,” as Star alleges.

It seems like the tabloid is just trying to invent a pre-wedding storyline for a family that really doesn’t need the help.

Kim Kardashian‘s bachelorette party last night at Tao Las Vegas had all the standard trappings — a stripper, drinks, and penis-shaped straws.

The bride-to-be also wore a tiara and a pinkish-red sash that read “Tao Bachelorette.”

Although Kardashian didn’t want her bachelorette party to get dirty, she took it in stride when a leather-clad little person did a striptease for her.

“My sisters are doing everything they can to embarrass me,” she told the cheering crowd at Tao.

Partying with Kardashian were her sisters Khloe and Kourtney and their mom Kris Jenner, as well as best friends Brittny Gastineau and LaLa Vasquez.

At one point, Kardashian crashed her fiance Kris Humphries‘ nearby bachelor party at Lavo Las Vegas. The basketball player celebrated with his future brothers-in-law Rob Kardashian and Lamar Odom.

Kardashian only hung out with Humphries for about 10 minutes before kissing him and going on her way, allowing him to continuing partying with his crew.

Humphries and Kardashian have more Vegas celebrations planned for today.

A 15-year-old boy, who was hit by a car that was driving Lamar Odom around in New York, has died.

On Thursday, Odom was sitting in the backseat of a car in the borough of Queens when it crashed into a motorcyclist, who then careened into the 15-year-old boy.

The two people injured were immediately taken to a local hospital.

The boy sustained serious head injuries, and though emergency surgery was performed, TMZ reports the young man didn’t make it.

According to the site, the teen was buried today.

Odom tweeted, “My thoughts and prayers are with the young boys family.”

Khloe Kardashian was not in the car with the basketball star.

Our hearts go out to the young man’s family during this time of grief.

“Khloe Kardashian is pregnant… with twins!” blares a “world exlcusive” from MediaTakeOut, which is consistently wrong when it comes to anything Kardashian.

According to a so-called “member of Lamar Odom‘s close family,” “Lamar was bragging this weekend that his new wife Khloe was expecting twins.”

Kardashian and Odom were supposedly “doing fertility treatments, and two eggs implanted,” says the “insider.”

“But don’t expect an announcement from the couple – at least for the next two months,” adds the alleged source, explaining, “They want to keep it quiet until after Kim’s [wedding]. They don’t want to overshadow her day.”

Or, more likely, MediaFakeOut just wants to buy themselves some time with another WRONG pregnancy rumor.

A source close to Kardashian confirms to Gossip Cop that Kardashian is NOT expecting a baby, let alone twins, saying, ”The story is 100% FALSE.”

Of course, if we were to believe MTO’s reporting, Beyonce is presently mom to a sixteen-month-old.

Lamar Odom was in a car accident on Thurday that left two people injured.

Odom was in the New York City borough of Queens, where the basketball star was in town for a cousin’s funeral, when the car he was sitting in the backseat of hit a motorcyclist and a 15-year-old boy.

Khloe Kardashian was not with him.

According to the blog, “Kim and Reggie have a wedding registry on WeddingChannel.com,” and the date of the wedding (October 31, 2009) “corresponds with the October 31 date Kim and new beau Kris Humphries as well as sis Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom used on their registries.”

Kim Kardashian is wasting no time preparing for her upcoming nuptials to Kris Humphries.

The reality star headed to luxury store Gearys in Beverly Hills on Monday with Humphries and her mom Kris Jenner to put together their wedding registry.

Not surprisingly, she’s going big.

Kardashian’s wish list includes a $6,500 vase, an $880 salad fork and $23,000 worth of Hermes place settings.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom also registered at Gearys for their wedding.

Kardashian and Humphries will reportedly tie the knot this summer.

“Tormented Over Their Bodies: Mom Pushes Them to Have Surgery,” reads the cover of In Touch, which claims Kris Jenner has forced her daughters – Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian – to have plastic surgery.

“Keeping a close eye on her daughters’ world-famous physiques,” the family matriarch allegedly encourages her daughters “to do anything they can to make themselves perfect – including going under the knife.”

The magazine focuses first and foremost on Kim’s butt.

A “friend” of Jenner’s tells In Touch that Kim “has always let Kris dictate how she looks” and believes a “super-sized butt at any cost” is a wise career move. With her “larger-than-ever backside” an online sensation, rumors that Kim “may have undergone plastic surgery” for implants “are not at all far-fetched,” according to this family “friend.”

Wait, so because a rumor is not far-fetched, In Touch assumes it’s fact?

And not just fact, but cover story material?

As for Kourtney, she and baby daddy Scott Disick are supposedly worried about aging, and “after not-so-subtle urging from Kris… talked about getting Botox” this year.

Hold up.

The couple has “talked about” maybe getting Botox? In Touch equates that with being “tormented,” as the cover claims?

Khloe, meanwhile, has found new confidence since marrying Lamar Odom, and “is through worrying about her body – and is warning her mother to accept her as is, or else,” according to an “insider.”

Just to be clear: In Touch is attempting to use Khloe’s positive body image and lack of cosmetic surgery as evidence that Jenner’s pressuring her to have plastic surgery? That way, so when she doesn’t have an operation, the magazine can easily claim she successfully rebelled against her mom.

The truth, however, is that these grown women all have control over their bodies, and aren’t being pushed or “tormented” by Jenner to have work done on themselves.

A source close to the family tells Gossip Cop the story is “bullsh*t” and “not true.”

Khloe Kardashian appears to be the victim of an April Fools Day prank on Twitter.

Someone hijacked the reality star’s account and has been firing off some pretty funny – if totally inappropriate – tweets.

Among the gems so far:

“My poops are in the shape of Ks”

“If no one was there to hear me qu**f, did it really exist?”

“I DON’T CRAP… I KRAP!”

“Sometimes I make Lam-Lam pretend my boobies are basketballs. I paint them orange and ask him to dribble them.”

Meanwhile, the real Kardashian seems to be highly amused by whoever did the hacking.

“I am literally crying at these tweets!!!” writes the actual Kardashian, who doesn’t know the hacker’s identity, but suspects Nicole Richie.

“Whoever [hacked] is really clever with these tweets! I wish I pooped Ks!”
