Gossip Cop sometimes wonders if inaccurate stories are the result of a bad game of telephone.

Perhaps that could explain this piece from The Sun, which claims, “Wacky singer Lady Gaga is scared of using a mobile phone – in case it FRIES her brain.”

No one is sure of how Fredricka Whitfield came up with it, but when discussing Lady Gaga’s new video, “Telephone,” which also stars Beyonce, the CNN anchor had some sort of disconnect yesterday, claiming the video was banned by MTV. Was it or wasn’t it banned?
