“Jennifer Aniston makes a leap of faith to Kabbalah, thanks to her new pal Demi Moore,” reads the headline in today’s Daily Mail.

According to the British tab, Jennifer Aniston “is considering making the switch to the fashionable faith, which is based on ancient Jewish mysticism.”

The article claims that Aniston was “enthralled” at a party in New York last month when Moore “was waxing lyrical about how life-changing and wonderful Kabbalah is, and how much it helps her in her day-to-day life.”

A so-called “source,” who supposedly knew what was said in New York, was also mystically privy to an Aniston conversation in Morocco. (Magic!) And that alleged “source” tells The Mail, Aniston “was also overheard discussing Kabbalah with convert Gwyneth Paltrow  – who was engaged to Brad before he met Jen – at the reopening of the La Mamounia hotel in Marrakech.”

A couple of things to note:

(1) Would someone in a real conversation that involved Gwyneth Patrow ever say – in the middle of a sentence – “who was engaged to Brad before he met Jen”? (No.)

(2) This tale, which will undoubtedly become a holiday classic, is totally fabricated.

Plus, a rep for Aniston confirmed to Gossip Cop that it’s “not true.”

Could Gwyneth Paltrow‘s recent vacation land her in hot water?

A story getting a lot of play speculates that the actress might be the first celebrity “to run afoul of the Federal Trade Commission’s stringent new guidelines for paid endorsements.”

What’s Paltrow’s alleged offense? Her recent praise of the La Mamounia Hotel in Marrakech, Morocco after a Thanksgiving visit. On her lifestyle site Goop, Paltrow wrote glowingly of the hotel’s luxurious features, including its gardens, designed interiors, spa treatments, and dining options.

The problem?

The FTC published new guidelines last month under which a celebrity who endorses a product or service “has to disclose any ‘material connection’ to the provider,” including free merchandise and services in addition to cash payments. Since many high-profile guests like Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston are rumored to be given accommodations at places like La Mamounia in exchange for the publicity they attract, and since the new rules “specifically target new media like e-newsletters and websites” (Goop‘s two formats), DailyFinance.com speculates that Paltrow’s high praise could be subject to a high fine.

Gossip Cop suspected the reports were making a mountain out of a molehill. A representative for Paltrow dismissed the severity of the claims. “She always talks about places she has been and loves on Goop,” he told Gossip Cop, “This is no different.”

“Is love Blooming again for our Jen,” reads a headline in the Mirror, which tries to link Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom.

The article tauntingly asks, “If they’re just good Friends, how come Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom seem so keen not to be seen together?”

Aniston and Bloom both landed in London’s Heathrow airport yesterday, but didn’t want to be photographed together, which caused some journalists and bloggers to speculate that they were hiding more than just their faces.

The Mirror even reports that they “were seen sneaking off together in a car outside.”

Hardly sneaking.

In fact, Aniston and Bloom were spotted later… in Morocco!

They were both at a bash for the re-opening of Marrakech’s famed Hotel La Mamounia.

Oh, one more thing: Bloom was at the party with…  girlfriend Miranda Kerr.
