Will a new day dawn for “24″?

According to a new report, FOX is in talks with series star Kiefer Sutherland to bring the series back for a limited run.

There’s been speculation for years about continuing the series as a big-screen movie, but production was canceled last year.

Last week, Gossip Cop reported that Sutherland was in talks for the role. Now it’s a done deal.

Fans of Kiefer Sutherland’s “24″ had hoped there would be a big screen version of the hit TV series.

And it seemed like it was going to happen. But now comes word that 20th Century Fox turned down a screenplay for the film adaptation.

Everything’s bigger in Texas — including wrong rumors.

Stories circulating on Monday have not one, not two, but three major names attached to a TNT reboot of the iconic series “Dallas.”

Kiefer Sutherland (“24″), Jennifer Love Hewitt (“Ghost Whisperer”) and Josh Holloway (“Lost”) are all coming off successful TV shows, and now outlets including the Daily Mail claim they’re primed to join a new version of “Dallas,” along with original stars Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy.

TMZ claims “24″ star Kiefer Sutherland was “tossed from [a] strip club” in London last night after “getting into it with somebody inside the club.”

According to the site, Sutherland, who served time for drunk driving, “was acting crazy” inside the gentlemen’s club Stringfellows, and even took his shirt off.

Maybe we’re out of practice, but don’t the dancers take off their tops, and the patrons remain clothed? Anyway, the strip joint’s owner has a different take on it.
