We knew Perez Hilton’s story about Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian was a bit off right from its headline, which doesn’t even make sense: “Kourtney And Khloe Refuse Take Miami AND Cash From Children!!”

Huh?

The Kardashian sisters have been in Miami, filming the second season of “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami” at their Dash boutique. While prepping for the shoot, an 11-year-old came into the store and bought one of the Kardashians’ signature bottles of water that come complete with a photo of them on it, and a $10 price tag.

According to Perez, though the boy’s mom “brought him back inside and politely asked if they could return the UNOPENED bottle and get a refund. Apparently this request was REFUSED with EXTREME bitchiness and some serious ‘tude.”

That’s not exactly what happened. 

Gossip Cop investigated, and what really went down was the boy came in with his two older sisters, and paid for the water with a crisp $100 bill.

And like practically every other place in the world these days, you can’t return a bottle of water for safety reasons.

But as opposed to Perez’s contention that the woman “politely asked.” Not true at all.

Gossip Cop has learned the boy’s mom went in to the store and, according to an eyewitness, “was screaming and incredibly rude and threatening to call the police.” We’re told she “was so out of hand… to the point where another customer told her to calm down and actually bought the water from her just to shut her up.”

Sidenote: The mother of the boy, who was carrying the $100 bill, was the first patron ever to complain about the unique bottle of water since it was introduced two years ago. After her tirade, we’re told the mom then sped off with her kids in a brand new mega-expensive Maserati.

You would think that with FIVE people writing Star magazine’s cover story about the Kardashian sisters they would stumble across a few accurate facts.

But you would be wrong, though not nearly as wrong as the Star is about the Kardashians.

Above a picture of Kourtney, Khloe and Kim all smiling, the Star declares, ”Toxic Love! Inside Their Private Hell – The Cheating! The Fights! The Threats!”

The article begins, “‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ is one of cable TV’s highest-rated shows. But off-screen, the sisters’ love lives are at an all-time low!”

It then goes on to claim what is each sister’s “private hell.”

Kim Kardashian

According to the tabloid, boyfriend Reggie Bush refuses to settle down with Kim, who thought she would get her own ring after his New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl. “She’s holding out for something that Reggie is just never going to do,” says a so-called Star “insider,” who adds, “They fight over it constantly.”

Really?

That’s interesting, because Gossip Cop spoke to the ultimate insider recently – Kim herself – and she told us, “We’re in a great relationship… We’re both in our twenties. I’m in no rush.” She also said it was “ridiculous people are putting a timetable on our relationship.”

Incredibly, the Star also alleges, “Kim is convinced that Reggie is cheating on her… She doesn’t trust him.” But a source close to reality beauty categorically tells Gossip Cop, “Kim is NOT afraid of Reggie cheating.”

Khloe Kardashian

“Although Khloe has only been married for five short months, her time as a wife has been anything but wedded bliss,” declares the Star.

Khloe and Lamar Odom “can’t agree on when to start a family, and it always leads to an argument,” says a “source” for the mag, who further states, ”Khloe sees all the attention Kourtney is getting with her newborn boy, and she wants that too!”

A rep for Khloe tells Gossip Cop there’s “no timetable for Khloe [because] they are both really busy right now but whatever happens happens!”

Unfortunately, not one of the five Star reporters realizes Odom still has about a third of the season left to play, with many of those games on the road. Additionally, Khloe and Kourtney are in Miami now working on their show, “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami.”

Still, the Star reports, ”Khloe is even threatening Lamar that they may not even make it to their first anniversary.”

This, too, is completely false. In fact, the two are so loved up that every time the Lakers are back in Los Angeles, Khloe flies cross-country from Miami to be with her hubby.

Kourtney Kardashian

Regurgitating theories from the equally dubious In Touch, the Star says “Kourtney has no clue what a two-faced maniac Scott [Disick] is,” and “He’s only sticking around so he can continue to cash in on her fame.”

When this wrong rumor first surfaced, Kourtney’s rep noted it was “not true,” and it’s still not. The rep added that the couple is “doing just fine and focusing on raising Mason.”

Kardashian Sisters

Finally, the Star asserts that, while publicly the Kardashians appear tight-knit in public, “behind the scenes, it’s all competition and one-upmanship.”

A rep for the sisters called the entire article, “bulls**t.”

Even with FIVE reporters, the Star went 0 for 3 with the Kardashian sisters.

In Touch knows a thing or two about “faking it,” so you can’t blame the tab for assuming everyone does the same.

Actually, you can blame them.

Kourtney Kardashian has made a “Deal With The Devil,” blares the tab’s cover. The “devil” is boyfriend Scott Disick, and the “deal” is an agreement to trade “her happiness for money — and ratings” by “faking it” and staying with him only for the sake of the hit reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, even though, as a source claims, “he treats her like dirt.”

The tab claims the pair “seemed more like co-stars than a couple” while appearing at the Jet nightclub in Las Vegas on February 19. A “witness” sat the club says Disick barely spoke to Kardashian until photographers arrived, when the two put on a “stage show,” kissing and posing for pictures.

According to the mag, despite serious problems with Disick, the father of their son Mason, Kardashian is “forced to stay with him and continue the act, no matter how unhappy she is,” because the devilish Disick is the reality show’s breakout star.

“There are days Kourtney wishes she could just kick Scott to the curb,” a so-called friend swears, “But she knows she can’t, at least not yet… She’s trying to play along.”

So is Kardashian pretending to be in love with Disick for the sake of television bliss?

Sources tell Gossip Cop the In Touch claims are inaccurate, and that while things are occasionally tough for Kardashian and Disick, they’re currently happy. And a representative for Kardashian says talk of a sham relationship is “not true,” adding that the couple is “doing just fine and focusing on raising Mason.”

Apparently, not everyone’s Christmas Eve was so merry.

Police sources say Bruce Jenner called 911 last night after his neighbor became violent at the valet stand outside the Kardashians’ home in Hidden Hills, California.

TMZ is reporting that witnesses told police the neighbor, complaining about the valet situation, seemed intoxicated and fell over at one point, cutting his face. Sources also tell the site that Pastor Brad, the gentleman who married Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, tried to assist the angry neighbor and received a punch.

Jenner reportedly broke up the skirmish. The pastor is okay, and no one was arrested.

Gossip Cop is intrigued by this “word,” and hopeful that someone passes it along to Kardashian.

Because, um, she doesn’t agree with the whole “pregnant” thing.

Her representative tells Gossip Cop the “knocked up” “world exclusive” is (surprise) “not true.”

Maybe someone should explain to MediaTakeOut that facts tend to be more useful than exclamation points.

“The honeymoon is over for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom,” begins a post from Radar.

According to a so-called “source” for the site, “Lamar caused a huge scene” at the Beverly Hills restaurant Phillippe Chow. “He got jealous because Khloe was texting at the table and he yelled at her to quit it. She refused, so he stormed off and sat alone at the bar,” claims the source.

A bit later, says that same source, “He stomped back over to the table and grabbed the keys and left a couple of hundreds on the table. Khloe just turned her back to him so he walked out the front door.”

Although it appeared Odom left, in actuality he pulled the SUV in front of the restaurant, and Kardashian and a girlfriend, who was eating with them, jumped into the SUV and drove away.

Well, this is all very dramatic – and inaccurate.

First of all, Gossip Cop has to wonder if Radar’s “source” has x-ray vision because Kardashian, Odom and her friend ate essentially alone in a private room in the restaurant, where none of this (a) happened and (b) could have been seen.

Second, a source close to Kardashian tells Gossip Cop the newlyweds are very much in the honeymoon phase, and that Odom is “still sending her flowers and champagne.”

And third, we’ll leave to Kardashian herself who Tweeted: “Im so tired of all of these crazy rumors that Lamar n I r fighting!”

Radar, you’ll recall, is not the most accurate source when it come to matrimonial matters. They stubbornly insisted a few times that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden had gotten married when they didn’t.

According to an unnamed source, “Khloe has burned bridges with the Lakers’ wives and girlfriends.” 

The source adds, “She’s loud, rude and obnoxious to them. And Khloe thinks she’s entitled to perks that the other women don’t get.”

Like what?

The mag says Kardashian, who (if you didn’t hear) married Lakers forward Lamar Odom, “is demanding courtside seats not only for herself but also for her entire family.”

Her entire family? We’re not sure the Staples Center is big enough.

The reason Kardashian feels she should sit courtside near the likes of Jack Nicholson and Leonardo DiCaprio, claims the tab’s source, is “Khloe has a huge sense of entitlement because she thinks she’s helping the team by attracting publicity.”

We’re going to call a foul on the Enquirer. This is inaccurate. Yes, it’s true she actually generates publicity, but a Staples Center source tells Gossip Cop that Kardashian did NOT ask for a seat reassignment.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are “hanging on by a thread,” according to Star, experts in tailoring false rumors.

“The newlyweds are fighting over everything,” Star declares, with “insiders” telling the rag, “It’s already all but over between them.”

So what happened?

Um, apparently they argued over who should give whom a back massage.

No, really. The tab’s “insider” says Khloe “threw a huge fit” when Odom wouldn’t rub her back after he returned from a preseason game, then tearfully “confessed her marriage was already on the rocks” the next day at her mother’s house. Oh, and Odom also committed the cardinal sin of “enjoying the attention” as he posed for photographs with female fans at a subsequent Lakers game. Kardashian was “noticeably absent.”

Star conveniently leaves out the fact that Kardashian was busy guest hosting “The View” across the country.

And when the two do appear together, as they did in West Hollywood just two days ago, Star says it’s because they’re “putting up a front that all is fine.”

Gossip Cop doesn’t know whether their marriage is Camelot, but we do know you shouldn’t put much stock in Star’s threadbare speculation. Odom is a star athlete whose season is about to begin, and Kardashian is a TV personality with obligations on both coasts. They’re going to spend time apart.

A rep for Kardashian assured Gossip Cop the report is “absolutely not true,” and also observed that when Kardashian forgot to bring her laptop to New York last week, she ran to Apple at 1:00 am after landing so she and Odom could iChat.

No word yet on an iMassage.

Perez Hilton has delivered yet another “scoop,” wrongly reporting that Brody Jenner missed stepsister Khloe Kardashian’s wedding because of… his feud with Joe Francis?

According to Perez, “It’s All About Joe!” He alleges Jenner skipped the nuptials because Francis, with whom Jenner’s girlfriend Jayde Nicole had a nightclub altercation, had been invited by the Kardashians. “There (sic) continued association with him keeps Brody at odds” with his stepsisters, the blogger claims.

Yeah, not so much, Perez.

A source close to Jenner tells Gossip Cop it had NOTHING to do with Francis and everything to do with commitments Jenner made months ahead of time. He was in New York for a publicity blitz in conjunction with the season premiere of “The Hills.” The trip – which included stops on David Letterman’s program, “Live with Regis and Kelly,” and a number of other shows – had been planned in July. Jenner only found out about the wedding with a week’s notice, and his obligations thousands of miles away didn’t allow him to attend.
