“BREAKING NEWS!!! Beyonce Fans PHYSICALLY ATTACK Keri Hilson,” screams a headline on MediaTakeOut.

According to the webloid, strangers “beat” Hilson “in the head” after seeing her on the street.

Their supposed weapon of choice?

“A BEYONCE CD!!!”

Wait, really?

MediaTakeOut bases its sensational claim on a tweet allegedly sent by Hilson on Thursday.

The tweet supposedly read, “It’s ONE thing to attack me on Twitter… but it’s disrespectful to have the bravery and audacity to throw Beyonce albums at me when I’m on the street.”

That sounds… suspicious.

Unfortunately for MediaFakeOut, the fact-challenged site has been duped once again.

“Fake tweet, fake story,” Hilson said Friday morning. “Photo-shop is a helluva drug.”

Keri Hilson was performing in Paris on October 9 when a fan got a little too excited to see the singer, rushed the stage and actually grabbed her before being subdued by security.

The incident was caught on video.

While we’re sure it was pretty frightening for Hilson as it was happening, afterward she reached out to the overzealous fan on Twitter.

“To the guy who ran on stage & stole a kiss, I LOVE YOU TOO. Didn’t appreciate how u were handled. But next time, enjoy from the audience ;)” she wrote.

Later, she tweeted, “I just learned that dude jumped from the 2nd story balcony for the task… ok, so maybe he was a lil crazy! Just jokes. I love my fans, yo!!!”

Gossip Cop is impressed by how cool Hilson seems about the whole thing.

The fan probably wishes her bodyguards were just as easygoing.

The “Hellcats” star bared it all for Allure‘s annual Nudes special issue, and she certainly doesn’t look like a tween anymore.

Dozens and dozens of stars were at the Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles earlier today to record a remake of “We Are the World” to benefit those devastated by the earthquake in Haiti.

Among those lending their voices and support were Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Carlos Santana, Wyclef Jean, Pink, Jennifer Hudson, the Jonas Brothers, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, will.i.am, Rob Thomas, Natalie Cole, Josh Groban, Tony Bennett, Katharine McPhee, Justin Bieber, Keri Hilson, Brian Wilson, Akon, Brandy, Gladys Knight, Randy Jackson, Nancy Wilson, Adam Levine, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Robin Thicke, Jason Mraz, Faith Evans, Harry Connick Jr., India.arie, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Brandy,  Julianne Hough, Lil Wayne, Amber Rose, Nicole Scherzinger, and Vince Vaughn. 

The benefit single was produced by Quincy Jones, who along with Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, put together the original recording 25 years ago in the exact same studio.

The video for the song is reportedly going to begin airing February 11.
