The stars have reportedly aligned for a film version of Gods of Carnage directed by Roman Polanski, with Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz and Matt Dillon in place as the quartet of leads.

The drama concerns two sets of parents who have an intense meeting after their sons are involved in a fight at school. Yasmina Reza’s Broadway play won multiple Tony Awards.

The tab “has learned” that the two Titanic stars “have shared an intimate relationship for more than a decade,” and that their “emotional bond also helped wreck” Winslet’s first marriage to Jim Threapleton.
