According to Us Weekly, Jon Gosselin was offered “$500,000 to be on Dancing With the Stars next season — but he turned down the opportunity.” The magazine quotes Gosselin saying, “After seeing what the show did to Kate [Gosselin] and the kids, I wouldn’t put them through that again.” But was he really offered the gig?

The site, which rarely fact-checks, believes Kate Gosselin is making more cash than the other “Dancing with the Stars” contestants because of a question posed by Seacrest during a radio interview with the mother of eight. But is she really making more dough to dance?
