Kaley Cuoco was born in California on November 30, 1985. Though a successful child tennis player, she embarked on an acting career in the mid-1990s.
Her first major role came in 2002 when she was cast as one of the leads on the TV series, “8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter,” with John Ritter playing her father. The show continued on after his death, before being canceled in 2005. She subsequently joined “Charmed” for one season, and then was cast as the female lead on the hit CBS series “The Big Bang Theory,” which would become one of the most successful television shows. The hit comedy series took Cuoco’s fame to a new level, as well as her wealth, as she eventually became one of the highest-paid stars on TV. Throughout her career, Cuoco has also taken on some big screen movie roles, with her largest to date being “The Wedding Ringer,” which was released in early 2015.
On the personal front, Cuoco and her “Big Bang Theory” co-star Johnny Galecki dated for two years after meeting on the series, and have remained close colleagues and friends even after their romance ended in 2009. Cuoco became engaged to Josh Resnik in 2011, but they split the following year. In 2013, she began seeing tennis player Ryan Sweeting, who proposed after three months of dating. They went on to wed on New Year’s Eve, and have expressed interest in starting a family together. In 2014, Cuoco combatted negative attention when she was one of a number of Hollywood stars to have her personal nude photos hacked, stolen, and leaked online. She also shot down rumors of a nose job, and found herself embroiled in a controversy over statements she made in an interview regarding feminism.
