Kristen Stewart will not be involved in “K-11,” her mother Jules Mann-Stewart’s directorial debut about a special unit of Los Angeles County Men’s jail dedicated to vulnerable prisoners.

It was speculated that Stewart would play a transgendered character in the project, but she’s NOT attached to the film, Gossip Cop can confirm.

Kristen Stewart’s post-’Breaking Dawn’ production schedule has been the subject of intense scrutiny, and this week there appears to be a new wrinkle.

The actress is currently attached to ‘K-11,’ a drama directed and co-written by her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart.

Now, IMDb and other outlets claim that ‘K-11′ will begin production on June 6.

Before buzz from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” even died down, chatter about Kristen Stewart’s upcoming slate of films – including “The Runaways” and “Welcome to the Rileys” – picked up. Now there are online rumors that “K-11,” directed by Stewart’s mother Jules Mann-Stewart and costarring “Twilight” mate Nikki Reed, might be postponed or lost in the mix.
