The supermarket tabloid claims that after her costar Julie Bowen won the award for Best Supporting Comedy Actress, Vergara “staged the headline-making stunt to steal Julie’s spotlight.”

The cast was scheduled to sit down for its first table read on Tuesday, but the rehearsal was abruptly canceled due to the impasse.
