Julia Roberts’ L’Oréal advertisement for Lancôme has been banned in the United Kingdom for excessive airbrushing.

A Maybelline campaign featuring Christy Turlington was also pulled.

The watchdog Advertising Standards Authority upheld complaints from politician Jo Swinson, who argues against “overly perfected and unrealistic images” of women in advertisements.

‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ made a lot of green this red, white, and blue holiday weekend.

The latest film in the franchise had the biggest Fourth of July opening ever, raking in $116.4 million for the four-day weekend, and easily secured the #1 spot at the box office.

Shia LaBeouf’s and his robot car buddies smashed the animated ‘Cars 2,’ which fell to #2 with a four-day weekend total of $33 million.

The Cameron Diaz-Justin Timberlake comedy ‘Bad Teacher’ came in third with $17.5 million, followed by ‘Larry Crowne,’ starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, which earned just $16 million.

Kristen Stewart and Julia Roberts are in a “nasty catfight” over their competing ‘Snow White’ movies, claims the National Enquirer in its latest ridiculous report.

It’s simple, really.

The Enquirer knows there’s been some Hollywood hubbub over the fact that two different takes on the fairy tale are slated for release in 2012.

But scheduling quirks and studio politics aren’t nearly as interesting as pretending the stars of the two films have some kind of personal beef!
