The first trailer for the 84th Academy Awards premiered online on Thursday.

In the promo, Josh Duhamel (with a mustache!) and his former Transformers co-star Megan Fox search for host Billy Crystal, who has gone “off the grid.”

The two eventually locate Crystal with the help of a few other recognizable characters.

Oscar nominations will be announced on January 24, with the awards show taking place in L.A. on February 26.

Molly Sims and film producer Scott Stuber tied the knot last night in California.

The couple exchanged vows in a vineyard in Napa in front of such guests as Fergie and Josh Duhamel, and Vince Vaughn.

Sims had been dating the Love and Other Drugs producer for a year-and-a-half before he popped the question last May.

This is the Sports Illustrated model’s first marriage and Stuber’s second. He had previously been married to actress Rachel Nichols.

Josh Duhamel, now a big Hollywood star, has clearly not forgotten where he came from.

He’s returned this Labor Day weekend to his hometown of Minot, North Dakota in an effort to raise money for those whose lives were devastated by the floods there in late June.

The flooding from the Souris River caused approximately 11,000 people to evacuate their homes, as well as damaged more than 4,000 houses, including his childhood home and his sister’s current house.

Additionally, scores of businesses and other buildings were severely affected. Duhamel’s middle school was up to its roof in water for almost a month, and most probably will be condemned.

“I have pride in where I’m from and just want to help the best way I could,” Duhamel told the Associated Press. “People [from Minot] are as strong as they come. I’m not really worried about the will or spirit of the people.”

Duhamel, the honorary chairman of the Minot Area Community Foundation Recovery Fund, is today visiting with flood victims at a Red Cross shelter, and is slated to attend a benefit concert tomorrow featuring his wife Fergie‘s band, the Black Eyed Peas.

Money from the concert will go towards helping people rebuild their homes.

“It’s unbelievable how much devastation a flood like this does,” said Duhamel.

Celebrities on Twitter are reacting to the impending arrival of Hurricane Irene, which is due to batter the East Coast this weekend.

Residents of North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and New England have been warned to prepare for the storm, with some states even told to begin evacuations.

Here are some stars’ reactions to the approaching hurricane.

Alec Baldwin quoted Shakespeare’s “King Lear,” famous for its storm scene, and tweeted, “Enter LEAR and Fool. Lear. Blow, winds, andcrack your cheeks! rage! blow! You cataracts and hurricanoes, spout.”

Kim Kardashian, who’s currently on her honeymoon in Italy, wrote, “I hope everyone on the East Coast is safe! I heard the weather is crazy!”

“Praying everyone on the east coast stays safe,” said Denise Richards.

Josh Duhamel wrote, “My heart goes out to everyone affected by #HurricaneIrene. Praying for your safety.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to “All My Children.”

The actress, who played Kendall Hart on the soap opera from 1993-95, said today at the Television Critics Association’s confab that she’ll take a day off from filming her new CW drama, “Ringer,” to go back to the show that helped launched her career.

Gellar told critics, “I don’t want to be Kendall, that’s Alica’s role,” referring to Alicia Minshew, who now has the part she used to play. “I have no idea what I’m going to be doing,” she added.

Gellar joins other stars like Josh Duhamel who are returning to the soap that first made them famous.

The final episode of “All My Children” airs on September 23 on ABC.

Garry Marshall, the veteran TV and film director who brought us the star-studded film, Valentine’s Day, is back with another big-name ensemble movie, New Year’s Eve.

The plot of the flick revolves around the intermingling of a few couples and singles on December 31 in New York.

Among the stars of the film are Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel, Hilary Swank, Sarah Jessica Parker, John Stamos, Zac Efron, Michelle Pfeiffer, Abigail Breslin, Hector Elizondo, Sofia Vergara, Alyssa Milano, Ice Cube, Seth Meyers, Jon Bon Jovi, John Lithgow, Ice Cube, and Ryan Seacrest.

At one point in the film, Heigl’s character says, ”There’s going to be more celebrities here than rehab.”

“Josh Duhamel To Replace Regis On Live???” asks Perez Hilton about news that the Transformers actor may replace Regis Philbin on “Live with Regis & Kelly.”

The celebrity blogger exclaims, “Wow! We didn’t see this one coming!”

Neither did Duhamel, but more about that in a second.

According to Perez, “Source close to the production of Live With Regis and Kelly have revealed that upon Philbin’s exit from the morning talk show this summer, Josh Duhamel may be in the running to fill his vacant seat – because he’s apparently a favorite guest of [Kelly] Ripa‘s!”

“That would definitely be a pretty huge career shift for him!” adds Perez, who seems to substitute exclamation points for fact-checking.

Gossip Cop, however, spent an entire 40 seconds to check out this story, and as Duhamel’s rep tells us, there’s “no truth” to this tale.

Philbin announced he was retiring from “Live” three weeks ago.

Josh Duhamel, Katie Holmes and Blair Underwood will announce the nominees for the 68th Annual Golden Globes.

The trio is set to join Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Philip Berk for the announcement at The Beverly Hills Hilton at approximately 8:00 a.m. EST on Tuesday, December 14.

Nominations will be announced across 25 categories for film and television.

The awards will air live on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. EST on NBC.

Josh Duhamel was kicked off a plane at LaGuardia Airport after refusing to turn off his BlackBerry, Gossip Cop has confirmed.

His rep says the actor “was indeed texting” before takeoff while on a delayed flight from New York to Kentucky and ignored a flight attendant’s repeated request to shut down his device.

The plane, which had been delayed for 90 minutes, was turned back to the gate and security officers removed Duhamel.

“That’s what happened,” a rep for Duhamel confirms to Gossip Cop.

She adds, “He’s sorry.”

“Knocked Up star Katherine Heigl‘s intense off-screen relationship with Transformers hunk Josh Duhamel has plunged both of their marriages into crisis,” begins a piece in the National Enquirer.

Heigl and Duhamel, who recently co-starred in Life As We Know It, supposedly have a “flirty bond,” says the tab, and it’s “infuriating” their spouses, Josh Kelley and Fergie.

And there’s more… Apparently, Heigl and Duhamel “refuse to tone down their relationship,” reports the Enquirer.

“Josh and Katherine make late-night calls to one another and e-mail throughout the day,” says a so-called “insider,” and Kelley is “complaining to pals,” while Fergie is “suspicious” of her husband.

So is the Heigl-Duhamel situation really “a mess for both couples,” as the Enquirer claims?

No.

In fact, the only “mess” is the one created by the Enquirer.

Duhamel’s rep tells Gossip Cop the story is “all false.”

The Social Network connects with audiences once again, grabbing the weekend’s top spot with $15.5 million in box office receipts.

Life As We Know It, starring Josh Duhamel and Katherine Heigl as a mismatched couple raising their friends’ tyke, came in a close second with $14.6 million, and Secretariat finished in third place for the Columbus Day weekend crown with $12.6 million.

The animated owl fantasy Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hool, in its third week, takes fourth place with $7 million, with newcomer My Soul To Take right behind it with $6.9 million.

Rounding out the Top Ten are The Town ($6.3 million), Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps ($4.6 million), Easy A ($4.2 million), Case 39 ($2.6 million), and You Again ($2.5 million).

“EXCLUSIVE: Fergie Ready To Leave Black Eyed Peas, Feuding With Will.I.Am,” read the headline of a RadarOnline piece yesterday, which went on to claim that Fergie is “on the verge” of quitting the Black Eyed Peas because the “tension in the band has become intolerable for her.”

“Fergie can’t stand Will.I.Am,” says the site.

According to a RadarOnline source, “Things have gotten really bad with Will.i.Am… His ego is out of control.”

Fergie is also reportedly thinking of starting a family with husband Josh Duhamel.

Gotta feeling her bolting the band is not true?

Will.I.Am tweeted, “Don’t belive gossip about fergie leaving the group (we are never breaking up) its all lies!!!”

A rep for Fergie did not get back to Gossip Cop about the rumored split.

You may recall rumors back in October that Josh Duhamel had cheated on wife Fergie with a stripper named Nicole Forrester. The story started with an explosive — and untrue — report in the National Enquirer.

Gossip Cop busted the story.

The tabloid claimed that it’s “investigation” “proved” key parts of the story… but offered nothing in the way of verification. The only “proof” in the Enquirer‘s corner was Forrester herself.

Now the Enquirer has followed up with a shocking story that Forrester is pregnant and that Duhamel is the father.

According to the Enquirer, Forrester “has made an outrageous new claim, telling friends that she believes she could be carrying [Duhamel's] child!” The tab goes on to detail pregnancy allegations. At one point, the magazine even quotes a so-called “source” saying that Forrester declared, “I’m carrying a million dollar baby!” referring to Duhamel’s successful acting career.

Gossip Cop can confirm exclusively that Nicole Forrester, when hounded by the National Enquirer about being pregnant, told them she was not.

In fact, she repeatedly told the Enquirer she was not pregnant.

The Enquirer printed the pregnancy claims anyway.

Now Forrester has come to Gossip Cop to set the record straight.

She told us exclusively:

“Yesterday I was horrified to learn the National Enquirer ran a story saying I was pregnant. This is NOT true. I told the National Enquirer this was NOT true a week ago and again on Monday of this week. Apparently, because of mistakes I made in the past they feel I’m fair game and can print whatever lies they want just to sell magazines – I want this to stop now. Too many people have been hurt by the past, especially my children.”

“A couple of weeks ago I was hounded by a reporter at my job and home, then ambushed and bombarded with questions. I was scared and flustered and told him what I felt I needed to to get him to leave. I then called him from the safety of my home and told him I was NOT pregnant. A few days ago I learned they were publishing the story and I again called the reporter to tell him I was NOT pregnant and to publish a story was irresponsible and harmful. He told me he told his editor previously and would again call them.”

“I received many calls about this yesterday and I am tired of having to defend myself and repeatedly insist this story is NOT true. This has not only hurt me but other innocent parities, including my children, who have to deal with the bully tactics of other children – that is not fair.”

“I am not pregnant!”

Gossip Cop called the National Enquirer to ask for an explanation about the discrepancy between its report and Forrester’s account. Our calls were not returned.

Newly unattached Kate Hudson hosted a holiday bash for her famous friends on Friday night, and noticeably absent was ex-boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.

While A-Rod remained in Miami, Hudson’s party took place at her Los Angeles home, which was festively decked out with Christmas lights.

So which big-name celebs were greeted at the party by parking attendants dressed like Santa?

Among those at the “Nine” star’s bash were Tobey Maguire, Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Liv Tyler, Kate Beckinsale, and her famous folks Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

The Star is doing its darnest to break up Fergie and Josh Duhamel.

In this week’s installment, the tab has an article under the headline, “Josh & Fergie: Separate Lives,” which quotes a so-called “source” saying, “They do love each other, but their No. 1 issue is that they’re both unwilling to slow their careers down to make sure they spend time together.” That same “source” adds, “It doesn’t help that Josh is a homebody, while Fergie would rather be on stage or out at a club.”

But here is Gossip Cop‘s favorite part, the “source” apparently is also a mind reader, who says, “They’ve been acting like everything’s fine, but they are both in major denial.”

As opposed to listening to people who conjecture about what’s going on in the inner recesses of celebrity’s minds, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the couple, who told us that the Star‘s story is simply “not true.”

Under a photo of the Black Eyed Peas singer and headline “One Is The Loneliest Number,” Perez Hilton writes, “Another night without your husband, Fergie?” followed up by “Are you trying to clue us in?”

Maybe Gossip Cop can clue in Perez, who truly doesn’t have a clue about such things as fairness or fact-checking. 

In his gratuitously mean-spirited post, Perez reports, “Ferg was seen heading to dinner alone while in New York last night. No word as to where Josh Duhamel might be.”

News flash: Duhamel was on Long Island, shooting the movie “The Romantics.”

Poor Perez. The blogger, who’s fear of our wacky insistence on accuracy prompted him to block us on Twitter, must’ve been too busy dying his hair, getting stories wrong to spend the entire minute finding the answer to that one.

According to a piece in the Chicago Sun-Times titled, “Don’t get Fergie started,” things “got a little testy backstage at ‘Saturday Night Live’ this weekend when [musical guest] Fergie spied a couple of copies of People magazine — featuring the cover story about her hubby Josh Duhamel‘s alleged fling with that stripper.”

The paper goes on to report that Fergie, who performed with her band the Black Eyed Peas, threw “a mini-hissy fit,” and that she ”was in a big funk” because of lingering allegations that her husband was unfaithful.

Really?

No.

First, if you’ve been to SNL, like Gossip Cop has on more than a dozen occasions, you would know that backstage isn’t a place where copies of magazines just sit around. Everything is essentially streamlined for the sets to be moved on stage, props to be put in their proper place, and cast members to change quickly.

Second, why would old copies of People be sitting around? The Fergie-Duhamel cover story is two weeks old. (This week’s People features children who have “Vanished Without a Trace.”)

Notwithstanding, Gossip Cop checked with an SNL source, who said the Chicago Sun-Times’ story was completely made up.

And a rep for the show added, “Not true at all.”

Gossip Cop wanted to update the Josh Duhamel and Fergie story that’s still making the rounds.

An Atlanta stripper’s allegation that she had sex with “Transformers” star Duhamel in his hotel room continues to attract huge attention, even though very little new information has emerged since supermarket tab The National Enquirer paid Nicole Forrester for her story.

What we do know at this point is that the couple has been spending time together, Black Eyed Pea Fergie believes her husband, the tabs are still mostly going on a questionable polygraph test Forrester took, and Gossip Cop has received numerous tips doubting her credibility. Additionally, unflattering chatter about the stripper is starting to emerge. Yesterday, someone who knows Forrester called into “The Bert Show” on Atlanta’s Q100 radio station – the same one that interviewed her – and said the stripper’s done crazy things in the past, and “people will do crazy stuff for money, especially that kind of money.”

Until we see an outlet put together a story more substantive than the (dubious) original, we’re not going to “transform” our minds.

“Even though Josh Duhamel has denied the National Enquirer story he had a fling with a stripper,” writes Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker, “I’ve learned wife Fergie doesn’t believe him.”

The columnist reports that the couple had ”a very intense and heated” conversation about the alleged infidelity, and that Duhamel is now “definitely in the doghouse,” according to a source.

Covering all bases, the Sun-Times gossiper adds, ”But Fergie’s hanging in there — at least for the time being.”

At the time the story came out, Duhamel’s side called the allegations “absolutely ridiculous.” And they still are, which is why there aren’t any problems between the “Transformers” star and Fergie. In fact, as Gossip Cop is writing this, the two are together in Atlanta, where Duhamel is filming “Life As We Know It” with Katherine Heigl.

Did “Transformers” star Josh Duhamel, who married Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie in January, really have a “Georgia breach” of fidelity with an Atlanta stripper?

The National Enquirer claims Duhamel “has cheated on his gorgeous new wife Fergie – secretly having a wild fling with a buxom, blonde stripper.” Nicole Forrester tells the supermarket tab she met Duhamel at Tattletales Lounge, the club where she works, and later agreed to visit him in his hotel room, where they allegedly had sex. Forrester goes on to claim the actor became worried about being caught after their night together and didn’t answer her phone calls.

Yeah, Gossip Cop isn’t buying it. The Enquirer paid Forrester for her story, and the dancer later tried to wring the tab for more money. The rag’s entire “investigation” appears to be based on her story, which features no independent eyewitnesses except the one placing Duhamel at Tattletales – a visit he’s never denied.

The Enquirer says its “investigation” “proved key parts of Nicole’s story” – but doesn’t reveal which parts or how.

Duhamel’s representative didn’t mince words when speaking with Gossip Cop, saying, “This is not the first nor will it be the last time that a stripper was paid a large amount of money to sell a false story about a celebrity. This story is absolutely ridiculous.”

After Gossip Cop stripped the story down, there seemed to be no truth to Forrester’s tattletales.

Is Fergie singing, “Where is the Love?” about her own marriage to Josh Duhamel? According to the National Enquirer, a friend told the tabloid that the couple, who’ve been married for only six months, is “clashing night and day.” The source adds, “Publicly they’re painting a picture of sheer bliss, but behind the scenes, cracks in their young marriage are beginning to show.”

Ah yes . . . the old ‘don’t believe how happy they are publicly’ ploy. Sadly for the Enquirer, however, the two are actually . . . happy. And a Gossip Cop source, who’s close to Duhamel, says the magazine’s story “is just ridiculous. It’s nonsense.”
