According to Us Weekly, Jon Gosselin was offered “$500,000 to be on Dancing With the Stars next season — but he turned down the opportunity.” The magazine quotes Gosselin saying, “After seeing what the show did to Kate [Gosselin] and the kids, I wouldn’t put them through that again.” But was he really offered the gig?

Kate Gosselin struck back at ex-husband Jon Gosselin this morning, denying that she’s chosen fame over their eight children.

The reason she works so much, including her current stint on “Dancing With the Stars” and two upcoming reality series, claims Kate, is because she needs to provide for her kids.

“I’ve got to work harder now than ever because I am a single mom,” she said on “Today.” “It’s a struggle to be here [away from them], to be anywhere. The emotion that you see is because I would rather be at home with them.”

While Kate Gosselin will almost assuredly lose “Dancing with the Stars,” she’s just been awarded two more TV gigs.

TLC announced today the single mother of eight will star in two shows this summer – “Twist of Kate,” and “Kate Plus 8.” Will you be watching?

“Dancing With the Stars” contestant Kate Gosselin may be heading from the ballroom to the courtroom.

Ex-husband Jon Gosselin plans to sue her for primary physical custody of their eight children.

Labeling Kate an “absentee parent,” Jon Gosselin reportedly has begun legal wrangling for the kids, as well as a reversal of the current child support arrangement.

Jon Gosselin and TLC have settled litigation against each other.

The network, where Gosselin and ex-wife Kate Gosselin found stardom as America’s favorite parents, sued him for violating their contract by appearing on competing shows for payment while disparaging the TLC program. Gosselin countersued, claiming the network damaged his reputation.
