Johnny Knoxville’s Emotional Tribute to Ryan Dunn

In an emotional letter posted to his blog, Johnny Knoxville has written to his late “brother” and “Jackass” comrade Ryan Dunn.

Dunn died in a car accident last week.

Knoxville explains that he was too overcome to convey his feelings and words at Dunn’s memorial service last week, but wanted to give his dear pal the tribute he deserved.

“Here is what I wished I could have told everyone then,” says Knoxville, opening a discussion of Dunn’s “hair trigger laugh reflex,” “enormous capacity to love,” and tremendous loyalty.

Bam Margera, who was silent for most of the day as he grieved the sudden loss of his friend and ‘Jackass’ costar Ryan Dunn, has now lashed out at film critic Roger Ebert.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Ebert bluntly tweeted, “Friends don’t let jackasses drink and drive.”

Margera used the same social media to blast back at Ebert.

Johnny Knoxville has taken to Twitter to mourn the death of his “brother” and “Jackass” co-star Ryan Dunn, who died in a horrific car accident in Pennsylvania this morning.

Knoxville says, “Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan, I love you buddy.” Steve-O similarly tweeted how much he’s “going to miss him.” And other pals like Benji Madden, Cary Hart and Jared Followill of Kings of Leon also expressed their condolences on Twitter.

Johnny Knoxville’s band of merry pranksters and punishment enthusiasts will follow the huge success of ‘Jackass 3D’ with an online venture.

‘Jackass 3.5′ will debut digitally in March 2011, with “new stunts and antics” being released on a weekly basis and then packaged together as a feature-length film.

‘Jackass 3D’ is #1 At Box Office

The nation’s connoisseurs of stupid stunts have claimed this weekend’s top spot with Jackass 3D.

Johnny Knoxville and his ragtag crew of daredevils brought in an astounding $50 million at the box office.

Action-comedy Red, starring Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman, took the #2 spot with $22.5 million.

And slipping from first place to third is The Social Network, which brought in $11 million.
