John Rich and Clay Aiken got into a war of words on Twitter late Tuesday, with Rich accusing Aiken of being “racist.”

The drama began when the former “American Idol” runner-up tweeted, “Playing drinking game with my brother now. We drink every time we see a black person on screen at the RNC convention. #soberasamormon.”

Rich, a Republican, objected to the tweet, writing, “CLAY! You should be ashamed for racist comments like THAT! WOW.”

“Celebrity Apprentice” winner John Rich was reportedly kicked off a Southwest flight from Las Vegas to Nashville on Sunday morning for being too intoxicated to fly.

According to TMZ, the country singer got in a verbal confrontation with passengers prior to boarding the plane, and then continued to exhibit drunken behavior once he was seated on the aircraft.
