Which ex-boyfriend is Taylor Swift going to write a song about next?

The singer covers Vogue’s February issue, and tells the mag her next album will be about an “earth-shattering… absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak.”

While Swift doesn’t reveal the name of the heartbreaker, she does give a few clues, saying the romance was “not recent,” and alludes to the fact that she was very upset last Christmas, which was around the same time that Jake Gyllenhaal ended their relationship.

Asked if she’s currently dating anyone, the songstress divulges, “I got nothing going on! I just don’t really feel like dating. I really have this great life right now, and I’m not sad and I’m not crying this Christmas, so I am really stoked about that.”

When the interviewer questions her, “Were you crying last Christmas?” Swift responds, “I am not gonna go into it! It’s a sad story!”

The “Love Story” singer, whose exes include Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, and (allegedly) John Mayer, tells the mag she’s learned a few things about love along the way.

Some of the “red flags” she’s come to recognize as deal-breakers are if a guy is “obsessed with privacy,” falls in love with her based on her Wikipedia page, is threatened by her or “if they make me feel like I am some sort of princessy diva.”

The mag hits newsstands January 24.

Taylor Swift is so “lonely” and “desperate to find a romance that lasts,” she’s taken to starving herself, reports Life & Style.

The mag says the country singer “has lost a whopping 20 pounds in recent months,” and quotes a nutritional therapist — who has never treated Swift and only seen photos of the star — as saying, “Her waistline has gotten smaller, her breasts have shrunk… it’s clear she’s not eating enough.”

Life & Style goes on to claim that Swift’s supposedly drastic weight loss is the result of “a series of failed romances — and the fear that she’ll end up alone.”

Swift “had her heart broken by Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal,” says the tab, which speculates that she believes “starving herself will help her win a man.”

The tabloid then consults a “relationship expert,” who explains, “When women are hurt over and over, they tend not to eat… Sometimes they think their body is to blame for the break ups.”

And a so-called “music source” adds, “I never see her eat. People are wondering whether she’s headed for a breakdown.”

Well Gossip Cop is wondering how this ridiculous story made it to print.

For starters, Swift is NOT scary skinny — she looks the same as she always has, give or take a few pounds.

And she is only 22 years old, so we’re pretty confident she’s not stressing about “winding up alone” in life.

In any case, a source extremely close to Swift tells us there’s absolutely “no truth” to the mag’s weight loss and loneliness claims.

As usual, Life & Style is just starving for drama.

John Mayer underwent throat surgery a few days ago to correct a granuloma (a type of tissue inflammation) above his vocal cord.

The singer notes on his blog that he had “to remove it and am now on complete vocal rest for a month or more. It’s been a very long process in waiting to see if time was an alternative to surgery, but even given two weeks’ voice rest (along with many other approaches), there was no change for the better.”

Mayer says that while he recuperate he’s “going to travel the country, look and listen.”

About a month ago, Mayer began canceling concerts because of the granuloma, including performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

His next album, Born and Raised, was slated for release later this year, but has now been pushed back to 2012.

John Mayer is canceling two upcoming performances and postponing the release of his next album due to a vocal cord issue.

He announced the news on his blog.

“After several months of going week to week monitoring and hoping to correct the condition, I am forced to cancel my upcoming singing engagements due to something next to my vocal cords called a granuloma,” he explains.

Mayer doesn’t go into the specific nature of his granuloma, which is broadly characterized as a tissue inflammation.

He’s dropped out of next weekend’s iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, as well as an upcoming performance with Tony Bennett in Los Angeles.

The album, Born and Raised, had been slated for release later this year. It now will be pushed to 2012.

“This is a temporary setback, although I’m not sure how long or short a period of time it will be,” writes Mayer. “I’ve got the best doctors in the country looking after me and I will be singing and touring again as soon as I get the all clear.”

He continues, “Until then I’ll be spending time writing and composing more music and kicking an empty soup can around the West Village.”

We hope Mayer’s back on stage soon.

“Taylor plans a tell-all!” exclaims the headline of an In Touch article, which goes on report that Taylor Swift is “working on a memoir, and no one – John [Mayer], Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal included – will be safe!”

The mag says the singer “was spotted meeting with book publishers in NYC on July 22.”

According to a so-called “publishing insider,” “Everyone is pushing her to reveal all” in the book, and Swift “seems open to it!”

That same supposed “source” notes, “Considering how open she is in her songs, we’re expecting that whatever Taylor writes will be really juicy,” adding that she “may go as far back as her relationship with Joe Jonas.”

Wow!

As in, wow… that’s inaccurate.

A source close to Swift tells us there’s ZERO truth to the tab’s tale.

According to the tab, Mayer has been “relentless in his pursuit of Jennifer lately — texting her witty messages, sending love poems and calling to ask her out.”

A so-called Mayer “friend” adds, “John always held out hope that he and Jen would get back together. When he found out she was hot and heavy with Justin, he flipped out.”

Really?

In a piece titled, “Renee Zellweger Dating John Mayer, But Why?!” Perez Hilton reports that “Zellweger is dating Jennifer Aniston’s ex, John Mayer.”

He then snarkily adds, “Zellweger seems to have a thing for Jen’s leftovers as she also dated Bradley Cooper.”

According to Perez, “Sources close to Renee reveal the two have been ‘quietly’ going on dates in Los Angeles and New York.”

Really?!

The blogger concludes his post by writing, “We’ll just have to wait to see if this works out.”

Wait is over.

Zellweger is NOT dating John Mayer.

They have NOT “quietly” — or even loudly — gone on dates in Los Angeles or New York.

Perez is WRONG again.

“Lindsay Lohan Has ‘Crazy’ Bathroom Encounter With Pro Boxer,” reads the headline of a piece on X17Online.

Just as a refresher, X17Online’s track record with Lohan is a tad spotty.

This is the same site that similarly – and wrongly - claimed Lohan was drinking at the Chateau Marmont in January.

It’s also the blog that incorrectly linked her to Tom Hardy (not true), model Petey Wright (wrong), and John Mayer (nope), to name just a few blunders.

Anyway, in X17Online’s latest effort, the site says former Olympic champion Audley Harrison “had an encounter” last weekend with Lohan at the Chateau Marmont while he was in the bathroom.

According to the hapless blog’s so-called “source,” “Lindsay was acting so crazy. She was drinking vodka and Red Bull and kept going in and out of the men’s bathroom every ten minutes… banging on the men’s cubicle door calling for some guy named Andrew. It happened to be the pro boxer Audley Harrison. He came out of the bathroom and was telling everyone about it and laughing at her.”

Wow… as in wow, X17Online managed to be WRONG again.

First, Lohan was NOT even at the Chateau Marmont last weekend.

Gossip Cop confirmed that with sources at the hotel, as well as with Lohan who told us exclusively, “I haven’t been to Chateau in weeks.”

Additionally, Lohan has been clean and sober and working hard on herself for months.

As Lohan so succinctly put it, this latest X17Online story is “bulls**t.”

“MILEY SNAPS!” blares a headline in Star magazine, which claims that Miley Cyrus has hit a “breaking point” due to “months of stress and heartbreak.”

The mag cites Cyrus’ run-ins with paparazzi on March 8 and 9, claiming that she “angrily lashed out at photographers, even throwing punches at one!”

According to a supposed “source” for the tabloid, the former Disney star’s so-called “violent outbursts” are due to the “mounting stress in her life” such as “her waning career and boy troubles.”

“Miley’s in a funk because she doesn’t feel she’s getting as much attention as when she was Hannah Montana,” says another “insider.”

Hmm…

If Cyrus was seeking attention, why would she be fending off the paparazzi?

She wouldn’t.

The mag adds that “failed flings with John Mayer and Josh Bowman” also had to do with Cyrus’ “meltdowns.”

Now this argument could be more believable than the “waning career” theory (Cyrus has two movies coming out this year), but Cyrus NEVER dated Mayer nor was she ever involved with Bowman.

Double oops.

Oh, and one more thing: the former “Hannah Montana” star did NOT “throw punches” at a photographer. Gossip Cop has video footage of Cyrus’ recent encounter with the paps, and anyone can see the young star is simply trying to protect her privacy – and her mom.

“Kate Winslet is trying her best to keep her steamy new hookup under wraps,” reports Star magazine, which reveals the Oscar winner “has been secretly spending time with notorious ladies’ man John Mayer.”

A so-called “insider” tells the tab, “A few weeks ago, John was at a party in Manhattan when he ran into Kate. He really put the moves on her, and Kate eventually responded.” That same alleged source adds, Winslet’s “begging him not to blab.”

Apparently, Winslet’s “hookup” with Mayer is so secret, not even the actress knows about it.

A source close to Winslet confirms to Gossip Cop that the Star story is “false,” noting that Winslet and Mayer “have never met.”

“John’s latest target – Sandra!” exclaims the headline of an In Touch story, which tries to link John Mayer to Sandra Bullock.

Yes, you read that correctly.

According to the tabloid, “John is trying hard to get fixed up with Sandra.”

But the mag says it’s only because he has an ulterior motive. He wants to “repair his reputation, and he thinks that dating America’s Sweetheart” will do the trick.

Uh huh…

In Touch notes Bullock was “flattered” that Mayer wanted to go out with her, but ultimately turned him down “because she’s looking for a relationship and not just a booty call.”

Got it.

Here’s what’s right: The spelling of their names.

Here’s what’s wrong: Everything else.

No such thing ever happened.

Mayer, says a source connected to the singer, did not “target” Bullock. “It’s bulls**t,” adds the insider.

Miley Cyrus and John Mayer are hooking up, reports Star magazine, which claims “they got touchy-feely behind the scenes in L.A. during Grammys weekend!”

According to the tabloid, sparks first “ignited” between the two at Clive Davis‘ annual pre-Grammys party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 12.

“She followed John around all night like a puppy dog,” a supposed eyewitness tells the mag. That same source adds she then “put her arm around his waist, and even grabbed his behind,” and Mayer “reciprocated.”

The mag says, “Things got even hotter between them the following evening at the Grammys.” Another alleged “eyewitness” says Mayer “leaned over and kissed” Cyrus backstage when he thought no one was looking.

After this claimed kiss, the So Undercover star supposedly “slapped his butt and told him, ‘You rock!’”

Now, the 18-year-old star is apparently telling friends that “she believes she can make John a one-woman man.”

Seriously?

No.

A source close to Cyrus tells Gossip Cop that talk of a hookup between her and Mayer is “not true,” and that “they only said ‘hello’ in passing,” at both the Clive Davis party and Grammys.

“Jessica Drinking to Destruction,” reads the headline of a Star magazine story about Jessica Simpson that goes on to say she’s “trapped in a poisonous cycle of booze binges.”

Basically, the tab takes a January 24 incident – when Simpson was overserved at the L.A. restaurant Katsuya – and uses it to claim, “Jessica is drinking way too much… and the worst thing is, she doesn’t see anything wrong with it.”

According to Star, “As her multimillion-dollar fashion lines have taken off, Jessica’s workload has increased – and with it, her drinking.”

The mag writes, “Mimosas at breakfast are often followed by margaritas at lunch and a bottle of wine at dinner.”

“Jessica’s binges have her family and friends so worried,” says Star, they’re currently “brainstorming about how to get her the help she needs.”

Really?

Not exactly.

Yes, it’s true Simpson was tipsy on January 24, a day in which celebrated an earlier photoshoot with drinks at Katsuya. However, taking that one incident to assert she’s “drinking to destruction” and “trapped in a poisonous cycle” is a GIANT exaggeration.

A source close to Simpson tells Gossip Cop that it’s “completely untrue” she drinks all day and goes on “binges” which have her family and friends “worried.”

“She had a few drinks that night – after a long day – but everything else,” assures our insider, “is totally overblown.”

Star, of course, is the same tabloid that reported Simpson was writing a $5 million tell-all about John Mayer, Nick Lachey and Tony Romo; that she got “touchy-feely” with Tiger Woods; and that she was dating “Friday Night Lights” star Taylor Kitsch, who she had never even met.

Actually, the real question should be what are they drinking in the Star magazine offices?

Under a headline that reads, “Lindsay Lohan Parties Until 3 AM,” X17Online reports that its “photographers tell us the starlet looked like she ‘had definitely been drinking‘” last night.

“One of our photogs spotted a glass of champagne inside the car,” adds the news and photo agency, which somehow managed NOT to have a picture of the alleged champagne glass.

Despite X17Online’s claim that Lohan looked as if she “had definitely been drinking,” the recently rehabbed star vigorously denies the site’s claim.

Lohan tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the drinking allegations are “insane.”

Plus, multiple sources tell us the actress was at the Chateau Marmont last night drinking nothing but peppermint tea.

Shenae Grimes is having a “secret fling” with John Mayer, claims Star magazine.

According to the tab, which recently absurdly reported the singer was having an affair with married Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis, the “90210″ star “has been raving about her steamy connection” with Mayer.

A supposed insider tells the mag that the two have “hooked up a few times and talk and text, but John wants to keep it low profile for once.”

“Lovestruck Shenae has actually been crushing on John for years,” and “now she’s pushing him to go public with their romance,” writes Star.

Seriously?

No.

A rep for Grimes tells Gossip Cop that the Star story is “totally fabricated.” And the actress herself jokingly tweeted, “how wonderful for me. If wonderful meant embarrassing.”

Well, Star and “embarrassing” go hand-in-hand.

We’ll give Star magazine some points for creativity.

The tabloid alleges there’s a “sizzling romance” between John Mayer and married Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis.

“Multiple sources” tell Star that the two have supposedly “shared steamy nights.”

Whoa.

On October 9, De Laurentiis reportedly “zeroed in on” Mayer at the Boom Boom Room in New York. The two quickly left “moments apart,” according to an “eyewitness,” who claims the pair got cozy in a secluded hallway and “looked like two people who were going to go home together.”

De Laurentiis and Mayer then got “touchy-feely” in the club Plunge at Hotel Gansevoort and “disappeared” together into a suite.

It’s a pretty shocking allegation to make against De Laurentiis, who’s been married to fashion designer Todd Thompson for years and has a daughter with him.

This month-old tale also a baseless, wrong allegation.

“It is a shame a media outlet such as Star needs to rely on disgraceful lies and hide behind false anonymous ‘sources’ in order to entertain their readers,” a rep for De Laurentiis tells Gossip Cop.

We’re assured the Food Network personality did not see Mayer in New York last month, and “at no time did Giada step foot in the Gansevoort Hotel,” says the rep.

“To be clear, they are not friends and cannot even go so far as to call John Mayer an acquaintance,” continues the spokesperson, who reiterates, “There is not a sliver of truth” to the story.

Taylor Swift sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for a show set to air next week, and the host couldn’t help but ask about Swift’s much-discussed romantic life.

Referring to Swift’s penchant for writing songs about exes, DeGeneres asked the superstar about John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal, both of whom have been tied to Swift in recent tabloid rumors.

According to the mag, Kim Kardashian‘s “latest project: taming bad boy Mayer.”

“The Kourtney and Kim Take New York star may be riding solo, but she’s not exactly lonely,” writes Us, which has a “source” who insists that Kardashian and Mayer are “friends-plus. They’re figuring out if they want to make it more romantic.”

The tab even tries to build its case by claiming that Kardashian’s “taste has changed” from athletes to other types of men, and that she and Mayer have a lot in common, including a “strong work ethic.”

So, is Mayer really Kardashian’s “new man”?

Nope.

John Mayer has blogged his rationale for dumping Twitter.

The singer-songwriter left his account — and its 3.7 million followers — in September. As one of the service’s preeminent celebrity users, Mayer’s abrupt departure left observers curious.

He explained his decision on Monday.

“It occurred to me that since the invocation of Twitter, nobody who has participated in it has created any lasting art,” writes Mayer.

“Has any artist, since they’ve begun to give you daily insights into their life created their best work yet?” he asks. “Are the best writers of our time on Twitter?”

“Those who decide to remain offline will make better work than those online,” declares Mayer, explaining that great ideas need time “to gather.”

He makes sure to add that Twitter is still useful “for those who are trying to make a name for themselves” and hoping to “brand.”

“But for those who have already established themselves it’s a slow erosion of the artistic notion.”

Last October, OK! magazine insisted that Jennifer Aniston had “won John Mayer‘s heart” with a deceptive cover story about their “sexy nights” and the “baby plan” Aniston had with her former boyfriend.

It was complete drivel.

Now, eleven months (and zero babies) later, OK! is again trying to dupe readers into thinking Aniston and Mayer have reunited as a couple.

“John & Jen Back Together,” declares the headline of an article inside the tab, which claims that after “more than a year and a half apart” (wait, what happened to those so-called “sexy nights” last fall?), Aniston and Mayer “are giving their love another try.”

The former couple allegedly talked for weeks and finally met up for two evenings this month at The Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta, where Mayer’s tour had stopped and Aniston’s movie Wanderlust was filming.

“She’s still hopelessly in love with him,” her “pal” tells the tabloid, which claims “the feeling seems to be mutual.” According to the magazine, Mayer has supposedly “convinced Jen that he’s changed” from his sometimes immature romantic past.

If only OK! would do some growing up, too.

Aniston and Mayer are still not back together.

They have no plans to be a couple again.

While the two “remain friends,” talk of renewed romance is “not true,” a rep for Mayer tells Gossip Cop.

It wasn’t true last October. It still isn’t true now.

“Say” singer John Mayer will no longer say what he thinks on Twitter.

The often outspoken Mayer has pulled the plug on his 3.7 million Twitter followers, and Gossip Cop knows why.

“With the Battle Studies Tour now at a close and a return to the studio planned, John has discontinued his Twitter account,” a spokesperson for Mayer confirms to Gossip Cop. “However, he continues to communicate with his fans via his blog as he always has.”

Mayer, who months ago said he would mostly write on his Tumblr blog, noted earlier this month that he had “passed 50,000 followers, a fraction of my Twitter base… but I think I made the right move.”

Star magazine may want to go to more John Mayer concerts.

The tab, relying on so-called “eyewitnesses” at Mayer’s recent Hollywood Bowl concert, reports that the singer’s ex, Jennifer Aniston, was not only in attendance but that Mayer all but confirmed their “rekindled romance” while on stage.

“I believe in second chances,” the sources claim he said while looking to the side of the stage where Aniston was allegedly watching.

“Who else believes that when they fall in love again, this time it will be forever,” Mayer supposedly continued. “That the next time with that person, you are going to do it better.”

Perhaps Star should take note of another statement Mayer made at a subsequent concert in Irvine, Calif., just a few days after his supposed declaration of renewed love for Aniston.

“I’m completely single,” Mayer revealed between songs.

In fact, he added that the “dirty truth” is that the current woman in his life is an Internet porn star who he watches online every morning.

According to the site, the musician “is rumored to be pining over” Montag, whose divorce from Spencer Pratt reportedly becomes official on Valentine’s Day, 2011.

HollywoodLife cites British outlet Reveal, which says Mayer “has already started flirting and asking her out. He likes the Barbie doll, no-brains type of girl.”

“As soon as Heidi filed for divorce, John swooped in on her,” adds its so-called “source.”

In passing along this ridiculous story, HollywoodLife says, “We’re not sure if we totally believe John… would truly lower his standards like this.”

The site’s own “standards,” however, are apparently low enough to post the rumor and run it beneath a headline implying that it’s true.

It is not.

A source close to Mayer describes the story as “total” bull to Gossip Cop.

The rocker may not be chasing romance with Montag, but HollywoodLife is again chasing shock over substance.

Like a gerbil that hasn’t learned to avoid the electrified pellet, Star magazine keeps making ridiculous Taylor Swift claims despite disastrous results.

Last month, the mag alleged Swift was back with Taylor Lautner.

She wasn’t, and Gossip Cop busted it.

Before that, Star claimed Swift might play Lautner’s on-screen girlfriend. That was wrong, too. So was a story about the duo disturbing hotel guests with music lessons.

Now it appears the tabloid has tired of Swift-Lautner drivel… so it’s moved on to Swift and someone else.

The country cutie is “still having a love affair with notorious ladies’ man John Mayer,” claims Star.

“Still”? Um, Swift was never in a relationship with Mayer. But let’s see what the tab has to say.

According to a so-called “source,” Swift has been “meeting up all over the country” with Mayer, behind the back of her alleged boyfriend Cory Monteith. “Taylor will drop anything to see [Mayer],” reports the magazine. All he has to do is text her, another “source” claims, and she’ll “come running” “no matter what time it is!”

So let’s get this straight.

Two superstars with fully booked schedules — and whose every move is followed by a voracious press — have been meeting secretly from coast to coast at the drop of a hat?

Forgive us for thinking the whole thing is absurd.

But just in case, we reached out to sources close to Swift, all of whom tell Gossip Cop the story is complete nonsense.

“Looks like there’s a new hottie in Lindsay Lohan‘s life, and his name is Anthony Noble!” declares X17Online, which previously linked the actress to model Petey Wright (wrong),  John Mayer (nope), and DJ Jus Ske (not true).

According to today’s post, Lindsay’s supposed love interest is a “French and tres wealthy… up and coming fashion designer” with a “passion for clothes, tattoos and fancy cars.”

One thing, however, that Noble does not have a passion for is… Lohan.

He’s not romantically interested in Lohan, and she’s not interested in him.

When Gossip Cop reached out to Lohan for a comment, she laughed at the X17Online report and said, “God no! Oy!”

“EXCLUSIVE DETAILS! Taylor Swift Is Dating Cory Monteith… But She Isn’t Totally Over Her Ex, Taylor Lautner!” declares the ever confounding HollywoodLife, which uses the word “exclusive” the way we use commas.

But before we get into today’s bust, we should note that HollywoodLife has three problems:

(1)  Its reporting

(2)   Gossip Cop

(3)   Its own search engine

Now the bust…

HollywoodLife, in its latest attempt to throw everything against the wall and see what sticks, breathlessly notes, Taylor and Cory had a date night at the Pinz Bowling Center in Studio City, CA with pals Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens tagging along.”

The site also claims Swift and Lautner had lunch yesterday in Beverly Hills, and that the “Twilight” star might be “trying to win her back,” but “just like on their previous dates, the Valentine’s Day co-stars, brought their moms along as chaperones!”

Wait!

Wasn’t it HollywoodLife that said just seven weeks ago that Swift was NOT dating Monteith — and instead was seeing John Mayer?

Don’t remember?

No problem. We have it here…

According to HollywoodLife, in a February 2 piece titled, “EXCLUSIVE! A Source Tells HollywoodLife.com That Taylor Swift is ‘Definitely Dating’ John Mayer!” the silly site boldly stated, “Cory is just a decoy. [Swift] isn’t really dating him. They’re friends.”

A decoy?

So now Moneith has gone from “decoy” to “dating”?

Here is the fact of the matter — HollywoodLife was dead wrong about Swift and Mayer back then, and while the singing sensation has been on a few dates with Monteith, a source close to Swift says she’s still “happily single.”

As for Lautner, the two had a friendly lunch yesterday – Swift was in town for a photo shoot and catching up with pals.

And as opposed to HollywoodLife’s report, they were not joined by their moms. In fact, none of the other people at their lunch were moms.

Once again, HollywoodLife is “exclusively” wrong when it comes to bothersome things like facts.

This is just too priceless to pass up.

Perez Hilton goes after Jessica Simpson today for having the audacity to want a boyfriend.

“All right, Sexual Napalm, ENOUGH!” the blogger bellows.

It seems Simpson’s recent talk is driving Perez nuts.

“If you keep ranting on and on about wanting a relationship,” he lectures, “All the good men are going to go running for the hills!” Perez then chides Simpson for “STOOPIDLY wasting all of the press John Mayer got her” with his Playboy interview by “sounding like a hack desperate for a man in her life!”

After quoting Simpson’s discussion of the type of man she wants, Scaredy-cat Hilton is too annoyed to continue.

“UGH, JUST STOP. It’s seriously almost TOO sad,” he moans.

(One imagines Perez either covering his eyes or shielding his ears at this point.)

“At this point, Simpleton,” concludes Perez Hilton, “You need to just settle for what you can get.”

Wow. Sounds like Perez does not like it when a public figure pleads for companionship. To him it sounds like a “hack desperate for a man.”

Hmm… sound familiar?

Gossip Cop was pretty sure a certain blogger was “desperate” enough for a man that he went so far as to make this video in January.

At the time, Perez had discovered that “dating is not easy.”

What’s more, he complained that “dating is even harder when you have a certain level of fame.”

Several minutes of whining later, Perez actually petitions his visitors to find him a potential boyfriend.

And at the 6:55 mark he says, “I’m pretty much, um, desperate at this point.”

Yes.

“Desperate.”

Gossip Cop wanted to point out this hypocrisy NOT because we revel in Perez’s self-professed dating trouble. We don’t dislike Perez. Actually, we hope he finds someone who makes him happy.

We’re just puzzled why he feels the need to attack Jessica Simpson when she talks about wanting the exact same thing.

From X17, the same site that claimed Lindsay Lohan was punched by Samantha Ronson (um, nope), hooked up with John Mayer (wrong again!), and was “all over” model Petey Wright (whoops!), comes word that she is having “more than just a fling” with a different model, Sam Webb.

The site says Lohan was “spotted” making out with Webb at the Le Baron nightclub in Paris.

A so-called “source” inside the club tells X17, “They were so all over each other it got embarassing (sic) to watch.”

(Funny how X17′s “sources” always use the phrase “all over.” Coincidence?)

“It didn’t look like they had just met and hooked up,” continues the supposed spy. “I got the impression she’s been dating him for a while now.”

Lohan’s been “dating” Webb “for a while” now?

Really?

Gossip Cop asked Lohan about the rumored make-out session with Webb, and the actress told us, “Never did I do any such thing,” adding, “He’s been a friend for years.”

Actually, Gossip Cop feels a bit sorry for X17 — the site’s running out of people to link (wrongly) to Lohan.
