“The honeymoon is definitely over for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden,” claims Star.

According to the tabloid, the couple’s relationship is in “crisis” as Madden gears up to leave Los Angeles for a stint on Australia’s version of “The Voice.”

Richie is “fuming,” a so-called “insider” tells Star.

“Nicole was opposed to Joel’s doing The Voice from the start, because she doesn’t want to endure the months apart,” explains the tabloid’s source. “But Joel isn’t listening. He insists that he needs to do it for his career and signed on without her OK, which set off a nasty round of fighting.”

Star asserts Richie and Madden spent most of their December 11 anniversary “bickering” about the show.

The “insider” also alleges that Madden “often isn’t around to pull his weight” with the couple’s two children, leading to strain on the relationship.

“Nicole complains all the time that she feels like a single parent,” adds the Star source.

Gossip Cop looked into this, and we’re told the couple made joint decisions about their schedules, and there’s no fighting.

A source close to Richie assures us the Star report is “not true.”

Nicole Richie may not have been as daring as Heidi Klum with her Halloween costume, but she definitely made an impression by channeling another celeb.

At an L.A. party on Saturday night, Richie dressed as Jennifer Lopez – complete with pink tracksuit, oversized hoop earrings, glowing tan and some big shades.

She completed the look with a Louis Vuitton bag and her hair tied back in a bun.

We think she nailed it – and we’re curious to see if J. Lo returns the favor by donning her best “Richie” outfit.

“Less than a year after Nicole Richie and Joel Madden finally tied the knot, big problems are rocking their marriage,” reports Star magazine.

The tabloid claims things have gotten so bad between the couple that “Nicole has spent a few nights away from their Hollywood Hils home and taken the kids with her.”

A so-called “friend” of Richie’s reveals, “She spent time at her mom’s on and off,” noting that the “Fashion Star” judge is “hoping that some space between her and Joel will fix things.”

So, what sort of issues is the pair having?

Madden is allegedly “upset that Nicole is spending so much time on work and not with the family,” the supposed “friend” claims.

Umm… isn’t this the same argument the Enquirer, which is owned by the same company as Star, used last week to claim the couple was having problems – except it was Richie complaining that Madden worked too much?

Well, aside from running contradictory stories a week apart, the tabloids have something else in common.

They’re both completely WRONG about Richie and Madden’s relationship.

A source close to Richie tells Gossip Cop the Star‘s story is simply “not true.”

Richie and Madden are doing just fine, and looked adorable together in the photo (below) she tweeted from her 30th birthday party last night with the caption, “Mr. & Mrs Over The Hill.”

Nicole Richie is “fed up with husband Joel Madden‘s hectic life as a musician,” reports the National Enquirer, which goes on to claim that Richie is “threatening to leave him and take their children” if he doesn’t quit his band Good Charlotte.

According to a supposed “source” for the tabloid, “Nicole has been complaining nonstop that Joel is like an absentee parent,” explaining, “When he’s not sequestered in the studio with his band mates, he’s touring the globe.”

Richie recently “flipped” when Madden informed her of his plans to record some new material, claims the mag.

“She forced him into a corner and made him choose family over career,” reveals the “source,” adding, “So he reluctantly announced to his band mates that they needed a break.”

Actually, he didn’t.

None of this ever happened.

A source close to Richie tells Gossip Cop the tab’s story is completely “not true,” saying that the couple is very supportive of each other’s careers.

Nicole Richie has shot down widespread reports that she’s pregnant.

“Contrary to recent speculation, I am not pregnant,” she tells Gossip Cop.

“This irresponsible reporting continues to feed an atmosphere of self-doubt and insecurity. To publicly point out a change in anyone’s body is mean spirited and cruel.”

“People’s bodies change and change again. This is not newsworthy and is a waste of valuable media space that should be used for more important issues.”

Various outlets, including X17 Online, posted photos of Richie this week, speculating that she had a “baby bump.” (see below right)

Rebecca Black continued her TV blitz with an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

The poised 13-year-old YouTube sensation told Leno that being an overnight sensation is “so weird.”

Black then discussed how she recorded “Friday,” and that she was “omigosh yeah” surprised how quickly it took off.

She admitted that cruel comments about her and the song initially hurt. “I cried, you know, but I’m 13… Being a teenager you know, you care about what other people think about you, so I was like all of the world hates me I’m gonna die.” But she says she now doesn’t pay attention to the negativity.

Despite the backlash, Black said she has a fan in Ryan Seacrest, and noted Simon Cowell “wants to meet me.” Other stars who have reached out to her include Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, and Will Smith.

The teen also told Leno she’s giving the big bucks she’s made from the song to those suffering in Japan, as well as to her school.

The famous under five (years old) came out to celebrate the third birthday of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden‘s daughter, Harlow.

Yesterday, newlyweds Richie and Madden threw a birthday bash for Harlow at L.A.’s Treehouse Social Club, and a Who’s Who of Hollywood and their kids came out to play.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale brought sons Kingston and Zuma; Kourtney Kardashian came with Mason; Jessica Alba and Cash Warren had daughter Honor in tow; Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery showed with little Stella; Tobey Maguire‘s wife, Jennifer Meyer, arrived with their kids Ruby and Otis; and Sara Gilbert made an appearance with daughter Sawyer.

The celebrities and a few non-famous folks and theirs kids played outside in a giant treehouse, as well as did arts and crafts inside the play center.

Harlow’s actual birthday is Tuesday.

Nicole Richie just got a nice (belated) wedding gift.

Her probation, stemming from a DUI bust in 2006, was just terminated ahead of schedule.

Richie’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, showed the judge that the reality star successfully fulfilled her probation terms, including receiving praise from her alcohol education program.

Though Richie’s probation was set to end in February, the judge decided she satisfied all of its terms and terminated it early.

“Nicole’s Wedding Disaster,” reads the headline of a story about Nicole Richie‘s wedding in OK! magazine.

According to the tab, though “no expense had been spared” for Richie’s and Joel Madden‘s nuptials, “Nicole was not happy.”

Why?

OK! claims Richie’s “stress and greed… threatened to eclipse her wedding day completely.”

Huh?

The tabloid reports Richie “hungered to see her wedding photos on a national magazine cover,” and was asking “$100,000 for just one photo!”

Getting the best possible deal, says the magazine, consumed Richie. In fact, she was “so nervous that one of her guests might sell unauthorized photographs,” notes OK!, “she insisted on having all cell phones confiscated.”

“It ruined the mood,” contends the tab.

Wow, someone was really miserable… about not getting the photos.

A source close to Richie explains that OK! is “mad they didn’t get the exclusive” shots from the wedding.

And as opposed to the “disaster” that the tabloid paints, the wedding was actually a blast.

A guest at the wedding tells Gossip Cop, the reception was “lovely,” and the bride was nothing but “happy” and “calm.”

No one’s phones were confiscated, says our insider. “Everyone happily gave up their cells.”

The only “disaster” is OK!‘s version of the facts.

Richie and Madden exchanged vows at her dad Lionel Richie‘s Beverly Hills estate in front of 130 family members and friends, including Gwen Stefani, Samantha Ronson, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and the groom’s twin brother Benji.

Two tents were set up on the property for the ceremony and celebration.

One guest, however, completely stood out – an elephant that was part of the wedding festivities.

After four years and two children together, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are, by several accounts, set to tie the knot tomorrow.

What we know for sure is that tables and chairs have already been delivered to her father Lionel Richie‘s estate in Beverly Hills.

Also, party planner Mindy Weiss is said to be orchestrating the wedding, which is reportedly going to be a small affair.

There’s still one detail, however, Richie hasn’t resolved.

While Us Weekly reports that the reality star is deciding between a Marchesa and vintage Chanel gown, RadarOnline says that a dress by Monique Lhuillier is also in the mix.

Nicole Richie was slated to testify today against paparazzo Fabricio Luis Mariotto, but the case was postponed until later in the month.

Now comes word that both sides have settled.

As you’ll recall, on November 10, the reality star got a temporary restraining order against Mariotto, who allegedly stalked her daughter Harlow at her preschool.

According to Richie’s initial petition, Mariotto acted dangerously while pursuing her, Joel Madden and their two children. Richie noted, he “drives erratically around my children and others, yells, screams and attempts to scare us so that he can photograph our reaction.” And as a result, she claimed, “his predatory behavior caused and continues to cause severe emotional distress as I fear for the safety of my children.”

Today, Richie was going to try to make the temporary restraining order permanent, meaning Mariotto would have to keep his distance from her, her family and the school for up to three years.

But Richie’s attorney and the shutterbug hammered out a deal that would have Mariotto stay completely away from the family and school for five years in return for her not seeking a permanent restraining order in court.

Should Mariotto, however, violate the settlement, the paparazzo would be subject to a serious financial penalty, reports TMZ.

As you may recall, on November 10 Nicole Richie got a temporary restraining order against photographer Fabricio Luis Mariotto, who allegedly stalked her daughter Harlow at her preschool.

But the order is only good for three weeks, which is why – as Gossip Cop can now confirm – Richie will be in court on December 1 in an effort to get a permanent restraining order against Mariotto.

A source close to Richie tells Gossip Cop that the reality star will be in court and will testify against the paparazzo, who we’re told tried to take photos through the school’s windows.

If Richie is granted a permanent restraining order, Mariotto would have to stay away from the school and kids for up to three years.

Nicole Richie has gotten a restraining order against a photographer who allegedly stalks her daughter Harlow at her preschool.

According to Richie’s petition, Fabricio Luis Mariotto has acted dangerously while pursuing her, Joel Madden and their two children.

Joel Madden is the latest celebrity to confront paparazzi who intrude on family life.

The Good Charlotte singer, composed but irritated, took issue with the photographers waiting in a car across from his daughter Harlow‘s school.

“You guys better hope you’re alright sitting outside of a school, [because] I’m gonna have all your tags run and everything,” Madden warned the paps.

Later, the protective dad addressed the pests again on Twitter.

“Dear @x17online please stop having your photographers wait at my kids school,” he wrote, linking to the site’s video of his interaction with the paparazzi.

Making good on his threat to trace their car, Madden added, “The car that was there today was @x17online.”

“Two men in a black nissan Registered to a Lepe Isidro in Redmond, WA.”

Madden then reiterated his discomfort with the paparazzi’s proximity to Harlow.

“I’ve learned a lot of self control & acceptance. Still never gonna be ok with grown men creeping outside schools. Gotta do what i can do.”

And Harlow’s mom, Nicole Richie, is doing what she can do, too.

Richie blasts the paparazzi on her blog, writing an open letter to X17, the “irresponsible and repulsive” agency that staked out the school and has crossed paths with her before.

“YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. These are young children and you should know better,” writes Richie.

Gossip Cop applauds the couple’s strong but civil response to a growing paparazzi problem.

“Joel’s got cold feet,” announces Life & Style in its new issue, which goes on to claim, “As Nicole Richie plans her wedding and cares for her kids, Joel Madden hits the clubs and leaves town.”

According to a so-called “friend,” the Good Charlotte singer has “been stressed and distant lately” because there’s “no way” he wants to get married “right now.”

And even though the family doesn’t need the money, the magazine reports Madden has been frequently taking deejaying gigs out of town, leaving Richie alone to care for the kids.

Why?

The tab says, “Joel relishes the chance to hit the clubs and flirt up a storm with other girls.”

Adds the supposed “friend,” “It’s like he just doesn’t care.”

Seems like it might be Life & Style that just doesn’t care…about the truth.

A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop the story is “not true,” and Madden doesn’t have “cold feet” at all.

“The honeymoon is over for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom,” begins a post from Radar.

According to a so-called “source” for the site, “Lamar caused a huge scene” at the Beverly Hills restaurant Phillippe Chow. “He got jealous because Khloe was texting at the table and he yelled at her to quit it. She refused, so he stormed off and sat alone at the bar,” claims the source.

A bit later, says that same source, “He stomped back over to the table and grabbed the keys and left a couple of hundreds on the table. Khloe just turned her back to him so he walked out the front door.”

Although it appeared Odom left, in actuality he pulled the SUV in front of the restaurant, and Kardashian and a girlfriend, who was eating with them, jumped into the SUV and drove away.

Well, this is all very dramatic – and inaccurate.

First of all, Gossip Cop has to wonder if Radar’s “source” has x-ray vision because Kardashian, Odom and her friend ate essentially alone in a private room in the restaurant, where none of this (a) happened and (b) could have been seen.

Second, a source close to Kardashian tells Gossip Cop the newlyweds are very much in the honeymoon phase, and that Odom is “still sending her flowers and champagne.”

And third, we’ll leave to Kardashian herself who Tweeted: “Im so tired of all of these crazy rumors that Lamar n I r fighting!”

Radar, you’ll recall, is not the most accurate source when it come to matrimonial matters. They stubbornly insisted a few times that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden had gotten married when they didn’t.

“Get me out of Hollywood!” the National Enquirer claims Nicole Richie said right “before she collapsed and checked into the hospital recently.”

Really?

For months, outlets have made sport of (wrongly) announcing Richie’s marriage to Joel Madden. Now the Enquirer says an “insider” told the tab that an exhausted and sick Richie, along with her not-husband Madden want “to escape Hollywood and raise their kids in New York.”

“They’ve already started house-hunting, and Nicole is telling friends she hopes to be moved in by next summer,” reports the tab. And an alleged “source” adds, “Nicole realizes that both she and her family need a change of pace, schedule and scenery. She feels ditching crazy Hollywood  for New York is best for everyone.” 

What would best really best for everyone is if the Enquirer checked its facts. A source close to Richie tells Gossip Cop this moving story is “not true.”

Trying to muddy the waters, Radar writes, “So the question remains, are they or aren’t they?”

No question at all: They aren’t.

Today Radar heralded another one of its exclusives, “Lawyer Says Nicole Richie And Joel Madden Are Married.”

Say what?!

Yes, “RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are officially married,” claims the blog.

In fact, the site even states Richie’s lawyer “confirmed to RadarOnline.com in court Monday that the couple are indeed legally hitched.”

Really?!

Well, this isn’t the first time Radar has tried to convince the public that Richie and Madden are married. A month ago they claimed the two had secretly wed – and a month ago Gossip Cop corrected them.

Rumors of their betrothal got so out of hand at the time that Madden took to posting a comment of his band Good Charlotte’s website, stating “NO we didn’t get married.”

Well, it’s time for Gossip Cop to correct Radar for this second — and hopefully last — time.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are NOT married. Whatever the attorney said was inaccurate. A source close to Richie tells Gossip Cop, “It was an error on the lawyer’s part.” Talk of them being married, says the impeccable source, is “not true.”

THE BAD

Beyonce had to bail (again) on a concert in Malaysia, a mag managed to botch 75% of its cover, and Star invented its very own fairy tale wedding for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden and a marriage proposal for Mary-Kate Olsen.

It was a bad week all around for romance rumors. Avril Lavigne doesn’t have a new love, Gerard Butler and Jessica Simpson didn’t actually have a date, Usher isn’t wooing Rihanna, “90210″ stars Matt Lanter and AnnaLynne McCord are just friends, and 50 Cent just has video love for Kelly Rowland.

THE UGLY

David Letterman does not have a “sex tape,” despite the rags’ wishes; Robert Pattinson is not a drunk; and baseless cheap shots from Fox News against tabloid fodder like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are as tired as they are wrong.

Know what’s NOT cool – accusing someone of setting up his sister’s DUI, especially when the “evidence” is as invisible as the claim is offensive.

Oh, and also not particularly funny? Death hoaxes. Kanye West was this week’s victim.

Even though Gossip Cop was the first to shoot down this false rumor, thanks to the Star’s completely fabricated cover “Nicole & Joel Married!” we have to do it again.

No, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are NOT married.

First Radar reported an inaccurate tip, then OK! picked it up and ran with it, and now the Star has added more fake details about how and when the couple secretly tied the knot.

When Richie’s former fiance Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein died, a “source” tells the tab, “she decided she didn’t want to spend another day not being Mrs. Joel Madden.” So according to the Star, Richie and Madden wed “in an intimate at-home ceremony” on October 14. The mag reports their ceremony was part of a mass wedding with 45,000 other people conducted by Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Unification Church. According to Star, as Rev. Moon spoke via computer stream, “Nicole and Joel’s officiant translated the blessing prayer into English and oversaw the exchange of rings and holy water.” Two days later, the couple supposedly shared the news with friends, with a “source” telling the weekly, “Nicole was just glowing.”

At the time when Gossip Cop first busted this bad rumor, an impeccable source swore Richie and Madden were 100 percent “not” married.

Well, Joel Madden himself has finally weighed in. On his band Good Charlotte‘s website he writes, “I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn’t get married!”

The Radar is off again with its piece about Nicole Richie and Joel Madden having secretly gotten married. According to the site, which struck out big this week with its coverage of Jimmy Kimmel, “rumors have been circulating throughout Hollywood and beyond… that after two babies Nicole and Joel have walked down the aisle.”

The site further steps in it when it writes, “One source says that Nicole and Joel, real name Joel Ryan Combs, obtained a marriage license sometime last week and married in a top secret ceremony on Wednesday.”

Numerous other sources, such as OK! magazine, picked up the marriage rumor and ran with it.

Perhaps Radar should not just publish tips.

Breaking news out of Beverly Hills has Nicole Richie, who recently gave birth, in a car accident.

Reportedly, a paparazzo rear-ended Richie’s car.

Less than a month ago, she gave birth to a boy named Sparrow. It’s the second child for Richie and partner Joel Madden. Their daughter, Harlow, is twenty-one months old.

Neither child was in the car for the crash.
