Which ex-boyfriend is Taylor Swift going to write a song about next?

The singer covers Vogue’s February issue, and tells the mag her next album will be about an “earth-shattering… absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak.”

While Swift doesn’t reveal the name of the heartbreaker, she does give a few clues, saying the romance was “not recent,” and alludes to the fact that she was very upset last Christmas, which was around the same time that Jake Gyllenhaal ended their relationship.

Asked if she’s currently dating anyone, the songstress divulges, “I got nothing going on! I just don’t really feel like dating. I really have this great life right now, and I’m not sad and I’m not crying this Christmas, so I am really stoked about that.”

When the interviewer questions her, “Were you crying last Christmas?” Swift responds, “I am not gonna go into it! It’s a sad story!”

The “Love Story” singer, whose exes include Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, and (allegedly) John Mayer, tells the mag she’s learned a few things about love along the way.

Some of the “red flags” she’s come to recognize as deal-breakers are if a guy is “obsessed with privacy,” falls in love with her based on her Wikipedia page, is threatened by her or “if they make me feel like I am some sort of princessy diva.”

The mag hits newsstands January 24.

Taylor Swift is so “lonely” and “desperate to find a romance that lasts,” she’s taken to starving herself, reports Life & Style.

The mag says the country singer “has lost a whopping 20 pounds in recent months,” and quotes a nutritional therapist — who has never treated Swift and only seen photos of the star — as saying, “Her waistline has gotten smaller, her breasts have shrunk… it’s clear she’s not eating enough.”

Life & Style goes on to claim that Swift’s supposedly drastic weight loss is the result of “a series of failed romances — and the fear that she’ll end up alone.”

Swift “had her heart broken by Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal,” says the tab, which speculates that she believes “starving herself will help her win a man.”

The tabloid then consults a “relationship expert,” who explains, “When women are hurt over and over, they tend not to eat… Sometimes they think their body is to blame for the break ups.”

And a so-called “music source” adds, “I never see her eat. People are wondering whether she’s headed for a breakdown.”

Well Gossip Cop is wondering how this ridiculous story made it to print.

For starters, Swift is NOT scary skinny — she looks the same as she always has, give or take a few pounds.

And she is only 22 years old, so we’re pretty confident she’s not stressing about “winding up alone” in life.

In any case, a source extremely close to Swift tells us there’s absolutely “no truth” to the mag’s weight loss and loneliness claims.

As usual, Life & Style is just starving for drama.

Joe Jonas was taken to the emergency room on Sunday after experiencing severe stomach pain.

A rep confirms to Gossip Cop that the singer was taken to Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles and released shortly thereafter.

It’s not clear what was wrong.

Jonas was reportedly well enough to have dinner at Katsuya by Sunday night.

“Joe Jonas is working overtime trying to give it another chance with actress Ashley Greene,” reports In Touch.

The mag says Greene, who split from the singer last March after six months of dating, was welcomed home from her international Breaking Dawn press tour earlier this month “with an elaborate floral arrangement — sent by Joe!”

According to a supposed “friend” of Jonas, he and his ex “have been back in touch recently and the flowers — beautiful orchids — were part of his attempt to win her back.”

“Joe seems to miss the stay-at-home lifestyle he and Ashley shared,” explains the alleged pal, noting, “Now he’s making an effort to reconcile.”

Uh, then why on Sunday was he reportedly on a date with a new brunette in New York?

In any case, a source extremely close to Jonas tells Gossip Cop the tab’s story is “absolutely not true.”

At her show in London on Monday, Spears did her striptease for Joe Jonas.

The site squeals the two “met up” at a celebrity-filled after-party for the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the nightclub Tao, and “stayed out together until 3 a.m. Hmm!”

What’s more, says HollywoodLife, “they seemed ultra-friendly and like they were both having an extremely good time.”

“Joe and Ashley spent most of the night together talking and laughing,” adds the blog.

So are they “reuniting,” as the site asked?

NO.

They simply ran into each other at the celebrity party, a source close to Jonas tells Gossip Cop, adding they are “not at all” reuniting.

“Joe Jonas Goes To Taylor Swift’s Concert Again! Does He Want Her Back?” reads the headline of another misguided HollywoodLife story about the country singer.

The blog writes, “Joe rushed to Taylor’s concert in LA right after the VMAs on Aug. 28, then he went again on Sept. 1 in San Jose!” before asking, “Is he hoping to rekindle their romantic flame?”

Not leaving bad enough alone, the site claims, “Joe may have some competition. With him the night of the VMAs to see Taylor was her other ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner!”

Oh, for goodness sake.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Swift and Lautner are still friends.

They’ll occasionally be in the same room.

It can happen without epic romance.

As for Jonas, he was simply one of the thousands (including many celebs) enjoying Swift’s L.A. concert — and that’s all.

The only people “hoping to rekindle” something are at HollywoodLife.

According to the tabloid, not only is Kevin married to Danielle Deleasa, and Nick is dating Australian singer Delta Goodrem, but Joe Jonas is now “heating up with Extra‘s Renee Bargh.”

The mag even says they had “an intimate dinner” at an L.A. restaurant on August 11.

But are things really “heating up” between Joe and Renee?

Once again, Star‘s dish is cold.

The Australian-born Bargh is a simply a friend of Goodrem’s, and is “not dating Joe,” a Jonas insider assures Gossip Cop.

As HollywoodLife becomes more and more of a joke, its “reports” get funnier and funnier.

A new Joe Jonas-Shia LaBeouf feud rumor is especially ridiculous.

According to the site, “There might be new drama in Disney,” as the two actors were “icy-cold” to each other and “nearly collide[d] on the sidewalk!”

(If you’re confused about LaBeouf’s status as a “Disney” actor, that’s because his Disney Channel series “Even Stevens” ended eight years ago. HollywoodLife doesn’t get out much.)

Anyway, why were LaBeouf and Jonas allegedly “annoyed” as they passed each other on Sunset Plaza in Los Angeles?

HollywoodLife wonders, “Could it be they are asserting their masculinity in the wake of rumors that BOTH have hooked up with Rihanna?”

Let’s get this straight.

Because there have been wrong random rumors separately linking LaBeouf and Jonas to Rihanna, the two are supposedly having some kind of cold war?

HollywoodLife argues, “That might explain why they were so intent on ignoring each other” on the sidewalk.

Hmm, well that’s one possibility.

Back in reality, however, it’s more likely that two guys passed on the street and didn’t recognize each other.

We know HollywoodLife thinks Jonas is supposed to be incredibly close with anyone who had a Disney show 10 years ago (?), and we know the site believes LaBeouf and Jonas are rivals in totally fictional romances with Rihanna, but we’re just not buying this nonsense.

A source close to Jonas assures Gossip Cop there’s “nothing going on” between him and Rihanna, and adds that the singer and LaBeouf don’t even know each other.

The mag says Jonas and the “S&M” singer “met when Joe was recording a song with Chris Brown,” and now Rihanna has “vowed to friends to give him the ‘wildest ride’ of his life.”

Wait a minute.

Jonas and Brown only began collaborating in April 2011, and Rihanna and Brown have not hung out since he brutally beat her in 2009.

The exes reconnected on Twitter in May, but that’s the extent of their current relationship. Therefore, it’s impossible that she would have met Jonas through Brown.

In any case, a source close to Jonas says there’s “no truth” to the Rihanna sexting story.

Joe Jonas is joining Britney Spears‘ Femme Fatale tour!

The middle Jo Bro, who debuts his first solo album Fastlife in October, will open for the pop star and Nicki Minaj in New Jersey on August 5, and will also appear at nine of Spears’ European shows this fall.

Jonas says touring with Spears is “a dream come true.”

“She was the first girl I ever had a poster on my wall of, and her album was the first CD I ever bought,” he says. “It’s so funny to think I had that on my wall and here I am about to perform with her.”

The European leg of Spears’ tour kicks off October 16.

Demi Lovato opens up about her recent breakdown (and comeback) in the September issue of Elle.

The Disney singer-actress talks about being bullied over her weight when she was a child, her descent into eating disorders and cutting, and her infamous fight with back-up dancer Alex Welch.

“I was completely out of line all summer,” she says of last year’s drama, which triggered a stint in treatment. She adds, “Just the worst attitude – totally ungrateful.”

But Lovato dismisses rumors that breaking up with Joe Jonas was to blame for her behavior.

“I wouldn’t credit my meltdown to a guy. There was so much other stuff in my life,” she explains.

As for her altercation with Welch, Lovato says, ”I just felt like she’d betrayed me. That’s the bottom line.”

But the incident served as a giant wake-up call.

“When you punch someone on a plane, enough is enough,” admits Lovato. “Right after, I texted my mom and just said, ‘I’m sorry.’”

Lovato says she’s finally ready to speak publicly about the demons that haunted her for so long, like cutting, something she wouldn’t acknowledge when red marks appeared on her wrists in 2008.

“I don’t think I would have been ready to talk about [my problems] then, but I could’ve come up with something better than gummy bracelets,” she says, referring to the story her camp devised to explain the marks.

“Needless to say, that publicist is no longer with us. I mean, she’s alive.”

Lovato’s emotional new single, “Skyscraper,” touched a nerve with the performer after her difficult year.

During its recording, she says, “I doubled over, tears streaming down my face. It was a sight to see.”

“Taylor plans a tell-all!” exclaims the headline of an In Touch article, which goes on report that Taylor Swift is “working on a memoir, and no one – John [Mayer], Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal included – will be safe!”

The mag says the singer “was spotted meeting with book publishers in NYC on July 22.”

According to a so-called “publishing insider,” “Everyone is pushing her to reveal all” in the book, and Swift “seems open to it!”

That same supposed “source” notes, “Considering how open she is in her songs, we’re expecting that whatever Taylor writes will be really juicy,” adding that she “may go as far back as her relationship with Joe Jonas.”

Wow!

As in, wow… that’s inaccurate.

A source close to Swift tells us there’s ZERO truth to the tab’s tale.

Demi Lovato visited Ryan Seacrest today, shortly after her emotional new single “Skyscraper” debuted and began to soar on the iTunes chart.

In a revealing interview, Lovato talked about everything from her stint in treatment to her eating disorder (“the elephant in the room”) to self-harm, her Disney career travails and eventual recovery.

“I just had so much going on in my head,” she says of the days before she entered rehab. “It all just boiled up, and I ended up doing things that I regret to this day.”

“Joe Jonas is booed, has balls pelted at his face, during ‘See No More’ performance in Williamsburg,” reads the headline of a piece in the New York Daily News.

According to the newspaper, “The middle Jonas brother got a rough reception in Brooklyn’s hipster capital on Wednesday night when audience members at the Paper magazine party pelted him with mini-basketballs and greeted his performance with a mixture of derision and stony silence.”

The tab goes on to say that Jonas’ performance of songs from his first solo album, “Fast Life,” at the House of Vans, was “a nightmare.”

“The booing and jeering began as soon as the Disney TV star and his four backup singers took to the stage,” writes the News.

“Audience members were even targeting Jonas with green Nerf-style mini-basketballs that Corona beer, one of the night’s sponsors, had handed out to partygoers,” says the newspaper.

In fact, the News says it witnessed two guys “peg Jonas in the face with their balls.”

Jonas, claims the paper, was “deflated by the time he and the backup singers wrapped up” his set with a performance of “See No More,” the tune he co-wrote with Chris Brown.

But is that really an accurate portrayal of the evening?

Reviews of the show did not mention any booing.

And Paper magazine’s Executive Editor, Alexis Swerdloff, tells GossipCop, “As someone who was standing in the middle of the crowd during the entire performance, I can say that yes, there were a few balls thrown onto the stage — but they were promotional balls that were being thrown around all night — and that Joe was hardly met with stony silence!”

Contrary to the account of Jonas being met with “derision,” Swerdloff says, “Rabid fans lined up around the block hours before the performance and were screaming throughout.”

Wait, is that the sound of Jonas fans booing the New York Daily News?

On the heels another major collaboration, here’s one that could be very compelling in its own right – Joe Jonas and Chris Brown are working together.

The producer Hit-Boy tweeted a photograph of himself with the two performers, along with the message, “Swag! @joejonas @HitBoy_SC @chrisbrown just did a smash!”

Neither camp has confirmed the team-up, and there are no additional details about the potential joint track.

The two popular artists have decided to collaborate at what could be a pivotal time for both.

Jonas is attempting to fashion a solo career separate from the massive success of Jonas Brothers, while Brown’s strong sales have been overshadowed by a new round of public image problems.

Britney Spears wants to bring Nicki Minaj on tour with her, according to reports.

An agreement could come very soon, according to TMZ.

Amid confusion earlier this week, Spears announced that Enrique Iglesias would be opening for her on tour, but the pairing will not be happening after all.

The big rumor yesterday had Spears taking Joe Jonas on tour as her opening act, so these current Minaj plans are still very fluid.

Gossip Cop is in contact with sources close to all parties to sort out these reports.

According to E! Online, Ashley Greene “gave some serious ‘tude” last night in Los Angeles when photographers asked about her split from Joe Jonas.

The site claims the Twilight star “snapped” when a paparazzo “deigned to inquire about her former fling,” with whom she recently broke up.

“Why so snippy, Ash?” asks E!

One tiny problem… there’s video of the incident, and the only rude ones are the photographers themselves.

Greene and her companions were met by paparazzi who swarmed the actress, almost knocking over some bystanders.

Meanwhile, Greene never gets “snippy” with them at all.

She simply tells one photographer – very calmly – that his question is “not nice.”

That’s it.

Greene then smiles and poses for pictures with fans.

We’re not sure where she shows off that alleged “tude.”

It’s a shame that outlets feel the need to portray Greene and other perfectly polite stars with misleading accounts like this one.

The Twilight star has been out and about in New York city this week, spending time with Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill.

Greene and Followill were spotted at Avenue on Monday night, where an eyewitness tells Gossip Cop they were “flirting.”

The pair met up again yesterday at Phebe’s Tavern, where they hung out with the actress’ father.

Right now, it seems that Greene and the rocker are just hanging out, but Gossip Cop will keep you posted if anything progresses.

Jonas says his relationship with Greene “feels good.”

“I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first,” he says. “She understands my busy schedule. She’ll fly out to my shows – she’s been to places in South America that I can’t even pronounce.”

The young stars, who have been dating for about nine months, also regularly spend time with each other’s families. The singer says Greene’s father “can drink me to shame. He’s awesome.”

Jonas says he wants his solo album to be “something you can hear in a club – something that’s me.”

He explains, “I’m growing up, the fans are growing up. I’ve gone through a lot of stuff in my life so far. There are stories I haven’t really been able to tell. When you’re writing with three people, you wind up with a sound that might be – not average – but, you know, expected.”

As for the ubiquitous gay rumors, Jonas says simply, “There’s nothing wrong with being gay,” adding, “but I’m not.”

Joe Jonas charmed Ashley Greene for her birthday… with a costly charm bracelet.

While celebrating her (upcoming) 24th birthday at the Las Vegas nightclub Pure, Greene said the gold Chanel bracelet she was wearing on her right wrist was a gift from Jonas.

“The funny thing about it is when I got it, my boyfriend said it’s vintage Coach – and I was like ‘Thanks so much’” said Greene, adding, “And then I put it on and was like, ‘Oh my god, this is Chanel.’”

“It was very cute and sweet and adorable to me because my boyfriend gave it to me,” said Greene, who noted, “Coach, Chanel… makes no difference to him … I absolutely love it because he knows what I like.”

The couple danced all night at the Twilight star’s Candyland-themed birthday party, which had giant lollipops and a three-tiered birthday cake decorated with sweets.

Greene turns 24 tomorrow.

One day after the happy news about Demi Lovato‘s exit from rehab, HollywoodLife almost seems eager to see things go downhill.

As Gossip Cop reported, Lovato has left a treatment facility and returned to her life in Los Angeles, where she’s back with family and friends, and will continue to see doctors.

But trouble lurks around the corner, warns HollywoodLife.

According to the site, Lovato “now has to risk another huge challenge – possibly running into her ex and his girlfriend!”

That couple, of course, would be Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene, whom several outlets blamed for Lovato’s issues this past fall – even though there was no real connection between them.

HollywoodLife is in the business of stirring controversy, though, so the site keeps raising the possibility that Jonas and Greene “drove Demi to her breaking point.”

Now the three young stars are in Los Angeles again, so HollywoodLife says “it is only a matter of time before their inevitable run-in,” the one that could be “too much for Demi to handle.”

Sigh.

Let’s ignore the fact that Los Angeles is bigger than, say, a high school, and that just being there doesn’t mean having to see everyone else who happens to live there.

There is zero evidence that Ashley Greene triggered Demi Lovato’s trip to rehab. Zero. If they do see each other, there’s not going to be some kind of face-to-face cataclysm. This is simply a matter of HollywoodLife creating controversy where none exists.

According to the mag, Gyllenhaal “spent hours cozying up” to Belle at the Art of Elysium gala in L.A. last Saturday.

The two supposedly shared “a romantic dinner” and were “very chatty and flirty.”

“It couldn’t have been more humiliating” for Swift, notes the tab, because the From Prada to Nada actress has been her “nemesis” ever since Joe Jonas dumped her and then began dating Belle in 2008.

There’s just one problem with this story.

There is absolutely “nothing” going on between Gyllenhaal and Belle, his rep confirms to Gossip Cop, adding that the story is “totally false.”

Clearly, no one at In Touch broke their back to fact-check this one.
